I wish their website had a clear distinction on the dessert cafe and scoop shop. I drove 45 minutes with the belief the dessert shop was open, to discover the scoop shop was the only one open. Between the dessert cafe menu being available and the shops being side by side and the website not being so discerning this is honestly the second time I've tried to go to the dessert shop and it being closed. To my dismay not only that but the lady scooping wasn't the friendliest person either since we drove out of the way we got some ice cream. We sampled a few. I got the goatcheese blackberry chamboard and it was tasty. As was the Cuban coffee, but YIKES. 2 small scoops was $17! I have no issue paying for ice cream, but for a small being $8 and change, that is nutty even for me. And it was truly a small scoop- not like other New England scoop shops when a "small" is the size of a tennis ball. This was a true small. Imma pass

Homemade ice cream in Kennebunkport!! They create small batches, of one of a kind flavors that are only served until they run out--which is cool because every time you come your experience will be different. Our server was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions we had as well as let us sample flavors. I got a small cup with a scoop of Maine Whoopie Pie and a scoop of Speculoos & Chocolate. The pretzel one had a caramel taste which I liked, and the whoopie pie was a vanilla base with chocolate cake--both were super tasty and creamy. I do wish it was a little bigger for the price but it was so good nonetheless. They have seating outdoors and it was a cool day out so we enjoyed our treats outside right by the boats. They also have a dessert bar next door serving desserts with alcohol, she said it'll be opening in a few weeks. Cool idea!

Ice cream had excellent ingredients and service was great, but I'm a fan of crunchies and bits in my ice cream. Not many options that I craved, but I ordered the Whoopie pie ice cream and it was good. We also bought a homemade whoopie pie and it was fresh and delicious! I was told they originated in the area so we had to try one and it was worth it !

A great selection of ice cream at a reasonable price. Parking is a bit expensive because of the other businesses in the building and lack of parking in the area. We were served immediately with friendly service. A great mix of different flavors.

I love ice cream on vacation. There were a few places in town, but this little spot off the beaten path boasted the most unique flavors, so we had to give it a try. They open at noon, and sure enough, there was already a short line thanks to a tour bus (clearly, the secret is out). Now, let me tell you, even the small cone sizes are super generous--so go small unless you're prepared for a sugar coma. We all opted for the handmade cones (because we have taste), and despite ordering a small, I asked if I could still get two flavors. Of course, I can't remember the exact names, but trust me, I picked the winners: one was a molasses gingersnap, and the other was a goat cheese/fig/whiskey/honey masterpiece. I'm a city girl, and these flavors? Worthy of any big-city artisan ice cream shop, but at half the price. WOW. Soooo gooood! Highly recommend, whether you're chasing a tour bus or just your ice cream dreams.

Must try: Special Brazilian Flavors curated by the awesome workers! Why: Very unique flavors! I don't remember what was in the Brazilian flavored ice cream but wow, they were so dang good! Notes: Super friendly workers who allowed me to try many flavors. The workers had a contest on best new flavors voted by customers, which was fun! Small and cute shop that was clean.

I've been here a few times over the years, I do enjoy their ice cream. I like that the ice cream is homemade and made in small batches with rotating flavors. I am a fan of the dark chocolate and the passion fruit flavors. I tried the honey vanilla this time and liked it. What is really frustrating to me and made my wallet cry is that a single scoop of ice cream is $7! I understand it is a tourist location but it really does break the bank and I do not remember prices ever being this high. The girls were friendly and allowed me to try a couple of flavors.

Can't believe we stopped by for ice cream in the freezing cold. Let me tell you it was the best decision ever. The ice cream here is delicious. I got the pretzel and the raspberry flavored one and loved it. I actually finished it all not minding it's cold. It was a nice treat after a long walk thru the beautiful town. It's my first visit to Maine and I really enjoyed my trip here. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The nice young lady that helped me chose the flavors was very pleasant. If you are visiting Kennebunkport this place is a must stop.

Great local ice cream shop right next to Kennebunkport Inn. They make their own ice cream and everything is local. The Maine Whoopie pie was delicious!! I can see why my son wanted a small and not a petite. The dark chocolate was a big hit for my daughter too! She loved it. The only one that was a bit off for us was the spicy rocky road. I had to toss it out. It definitely had cayenne in it. The lady who worked there was really nice and friendly.

The gelato is good but the service is quite bad recently. Vapid teenagers running the shop.

When you arrive, you can park in front of the teal buildings or drive up further to the parking in front of the walk-up window that's a bit further back. I arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday and they were already sold out of the most popular flavors. There are a few patio tables to enjoy your donuts and coffee or you can take them to go. Looking for an instagrammable moment? There are two sets of wings at different heights and sizes where you can pose for a photo. I find the potato donuts pretty filling, so I typically only get one for myself or pick up an assortment if I'm getting them for others. There are vegan options available too.

I had never tried a potato donut before, so I was curious to see what it was like. Unfortunately, this ended up being the second worst donut I have ever had, and I've tried a lot of different donut shops. The lady at the shop was very kind and explained which donuts were which. I decided to try the most popular options: the Sea Salt and Blueberry Lemon donuts. Sadly, the Sea Salt donut was terrible! The Blueberry Lemon one wasn't as bad, but both ended up in the garbage. My stepmom is usually against throwing away food and doesn't have much of a sense of smell, so she doesn't find many things inedible. However, even she ended up throwing her donut away, which says a lot. I would not recommend these donuts.
