I got a SMALL Maine Wild Blueberry, but they gave me SO MUCH!!! It was $5.25, so it was a bit pricy, but for the amount they gave, I was able to sleep at night with the cost. The Maine Brown Bear flavor was also amazing, and they have fresh squeezed lemonade that also looked tasty.

Saw that they had blueberry ice cream and since I am in Maine... how could I order anything different? Got a small which was two big scoops. Opted for the sugar cone. It was DELICIOUS. Totally exceeded my expectations given that I'm usually a chocolate/peanut butter kinda gal.

Smores regular cone - pretty yummy and perfect on a hot hot day.

Black rasberry regular cone and the campfire s'mores regular cone. In the heat of summer I should have gotten the black raspberry cone instead because that was so much more refreshing than my super heavy campfire smores cone...both delicious but would definitely go for the fruity ice cream next time around! This place is tucked between a few stores so it's easy to miss but honestly it was so hot we just followed the crowd of people that were walking around with cones and found it! Hehehehe

Cute little window serving a variety of foods typical to Kennebunkport. Seemed like everyone we saw there when we were there was coming over from the Clam Shack where they (and we) received a 2 for 1 coupon for ice cream (which is $4 and change). So... if you find yourself at Clam Shack, you very well may find yourself here for some 2 for 1 ice cream.

The best lobster roll ever!!! I think it was only $12 or $14.

Loved the lobster roll, ice cream and lemonade! Their lobster roll was the best one I had during my recent family trip to the east coast. Not too much mayo, light and tasty! I'm just sad I decided to split it with my mom. Other rolls in New England do not compare. I tried rolls in Boston and Portland, Maine but was sadly disappointed. I read reviews about the service but the two young guys were totally nice and helpful. I would definitely come here again.

We weren't particularly seeking out ice cream when we first went to Kennebunkport, but The Clam Shack gave a buy one get one free coupon to Aunt Marie's for ice cream so we figured we would stop by. This made the prices very favorable (under $5 for 2 cups of ice cream). There were probably about 10 different flavors offered here, but we had the Moose Tracks and Summer Berry Crunch - both great flavors. Only downside is the limited seating here.

Way overpriced freezer burned ice cream. Way better places to go. Horribly rude ownership.

Probably the best ice cream in KPT. No lines and probably best kept secret. They make lemonade too!

Our waitress was hands down amazing, because when my mom asked for water, she remembered that she didn't get ice and asked her she wanted ice in her water, which I thought was such a thing to remember. She was super friendly, and I made sure to tell her that at the end that I thought she was awesome. I got the chicken sandwich and the onion rings and they were both delicious. My mom got the taste of maine. The only thing that I think she would have changed is the clam chowder had a lot of potatoes in it.i think she wish it had more clams. But overall it was great

Both were exactly as we had hoped. The free valet parking was also a bonus. Regarding the actual food, for new it was a Greek Salad with grilled chicken and my dinner partner had the lobster roll. The salad was just a salad, the lettuce was not the freshest and the dressing was sparse, but the chicken was well grilled and juicy. My friend said the lobster roll was good as it did not have large chucks of celery, and the flavor of the lobster was good. She said she has had better and she had worse. Again, if though want pubs food with a drink and a great view, this is the spot. If you are seeking a great and flavorful meal, I would look elsewhere.

The fries which came on the side of the burgers and sandwiches were also excellent. The restaurant has a nice outdoor space but the weather was a little rainy the day we went so we didn't sit outside. I do suggest they add more barriers and greenery/plants to separate the beautiful outdoor seating space from the parking lot across the way.

We ordered the surf (scallops) and turf, lobster roll, and pasta for my 6 year old. The Scallops was cooked to perfection. You can choose between scallops, lobster, or shrimp as your surf protein. The lobster roll was great. They accommodated my 6 year old flavor profile and gave red sauce on the side. Aside from the food and space, Mark and Celine exemplify the epitome of hospitality and service recovery. There was a minor hiccup during our meal. And Mark, the manager, went above and beyond to amend the mistake. Thank you Mark and Celine for a great dinner after a long day exploring. My daughter couldn't stop talking about the cookies and chocolate ice cream.

This cozy space has table seating along the walls and seating up at the full service bar. There is dog related country decor and a digital jukebox. There is also another informal dining room across the hall. This new "Big Dog" pub in Deerfield is not to be confused with "Big Dog" eats in Milford and "Big Dawg's" eatery in Haverhill (Bradford) MA. The breakfast menu offers a selection of egg dishes, omelets, pancakes, French toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and sides. The lunch/dinner menu offers a selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, paninis, burgers, flatbreads, pizzas, chicken entrees, pasta, and seafood. They have switched from standard fries to hand cut fries. There are posted specials on the board. The bar offers limited draft beers, beer bottles/cans, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. The prices seem fair and they offer happy hour 3-5pm. I stopped by Big Dog Pub for dinner recently during the week. I was greeted and told I could sit at any open table I'd like. The seating at the bar was busy, so I sat at an open metal table next to the bar. The server brought over a menu to look over. I decided on the Fish & Chips special ($16 plus tax) and the Sweet Sausage Sautee ($15 plus tax). Both entrees came out together in 17 minutes. The portions were good on both. The fish & chips were very hot, crispy coating on the outside, tartar sauce on the side. The hand cut fries were firm and tasty. The shredded creamy cole slaw was sweet & tangy. The sautee dish had a mix of al dente cavatappi pasta tossed in a light cream tomato sauce with peppers, onions, small sausage bits and shaved parmesan cheese. I managed to finish both entrees and got the check with Toast QR code which was $33.64 with tax and before tip. The internet is very weak in this part of Deerfield, so had to pay the normal way. Overall, I enjoyed a great filling meal at Big Dog Pub. I will have to return here for breakfast!

Finally, now that the 'newness' wore off, 4 of us were able to grab a table with ease. There was live music & they post on their Facebook page regularly with updates on food & cocktail specials. We decided on appetizers: nachos w/ chicken, mozzarella sticks & potato skins. The nachos were really good - I liked the chips they used. The mozzarella sticks were a bit underwhelming, similar to frozen ones I've purchased at BJs. The potato skins tasted like they were made in-house. ABOVE & BEYOND MOMENT: Our server, Jackie, was friendly & patient with our requests. I had asked if they could make a spicy margarita. She asked the bartender & they were out of their jalapeno tequila so they asked if it was okay to muddle fresh jalapenos instead. I said I trusted the bartender to do what they thought best. When my margarita was delivered, the Jackie asked if I wouldn't mind tasting it to make sure it wasn't too spicy. I think the fact they custom made the drink & ensured it was to my liking was great. I see mixed reviews about the prices. I honestly found that appetizers averaging about $15 was on the high side. We'd like to go back for dinner, maybe when there isn't live music.
