Excellent food and service, definitely upper class restaurant. We loved our appetizers and meals and steaks were perfection! Highly recommend!

Rococo Steak has been recommended to me for years and I finally made it there. Had a great dinner here last night for a private event. Service was attentive, friendly, but still not intrusive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience was impeccable, with music at a very low level for ease of conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Furniture was aesthetically beautiful and also very comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the 7 oz. filet mignon with broccolini and whipped potatoes. Phenomenally-seasoned steak, great cut, could be cut with a butter knife -- but was unfortunately quite blue inside (ordered medium rare). The potatoes and broccolini were absolutely divine however -- and so was my local greens salad with some of the best cheese I've had on an app in Tampa Bay. Would I come back? Absolutely, but I would send my steak back if it came back that blue (too raw) again, as I suffered mild food poisoning and couldn't sleep last night because of it.

This was a very good steakhouse, but our favorite part of our meal was the crab fritter, we also shared the heirloom tomato salad and we both ordered the prime filet mignon! Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and we shared a side of their Parmesan truffle fries, these were just OK nothing to shout about! But the stars of the meal were the filets and the crab fritter! We can't stop thinking about that crab fritter! We also got an order of the white chocolate bread pudding but it was also just Ok! So my recommendation would be to try the crab, maybe even order it as an entree with other sides! The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and the tables were well spaced! Our server brought everything promptly as well! If you desire a well cooked tender steak this is your place!

I enjoyed this place, especially for happy hour -- 8.5/10 easily. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can feel their intention in trying to elevate the experience from the moment they open the door upon your arrival.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] TLDR; good food, great drinks & service can be hit or miss. I've had a few proseccos and chardonnays here that I enjoyed. The cocktails were always artful and spectacular, clearly made with a delicate hand. I recommend the Soleil with my whole heart as a Cognac lover. Sweet, smooth taste with a foamy finish, I could keep going back for more. It had a bunch of ingredients I've never had, or never heard of, and blew my mind. A peachy color with a very French 125-esque. For food, I've tried the sliders (good but nothing to write home about) and the meatballs. The meatballs were moist and earthy, very flavorful -- but the real coup was the sweet, punchy sauce cradling them. the bread was herbaceous. angle cut and thick. Our waitress hovered for a bit, but then service became super European when we were done ordering (I had to flag down for water and the check...). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that, I loved the experience here. It's a beautiful space that really elevates an already marvelous menu.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back.

Kicking off Valentine's Day early with a fantastic dinner at Rococo Steak. We started with a dozen yummy oysters then the local green salad and the crab cake(it's called a fritter on the menu, why?) and hubby enjoyed the strip steak and Brussels sprouts. Topped off with the chocolate torte. Perfect for a romantic evening out! Staff and service top notch!

Great food and great service. The lobster bisque was tasty and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the overall atmosphere was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The steak was incredible, I had a ribeye... however the service didn't match the value [[HIGHLIGHT]]We ate outside and the mosquitos were eating us alive...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were shutdown on this by the server and the hostesses Coupled with that, as they cleaned up our plates the server smacked me in the eye with the plate... he was extremely apologetic and as someone who's worked in service... I get it accidents happen I believe my CEO bumped his hand which caused it... No comp was offered as I requested privately, I was refused to speak to a manager. I'm here in travel and that's fine.. 120$ for great steak, a puffy eye and bug bites... -jf

Came here with business associates. Service here was very good. Great large yet unique space. Great wine selection on and off the menu. Appetizers looked great but we came here for steak. The ribeye was a beautiful cut and we all enjoyed our steaks. Sides were nice but very traditional. Desserts were really good. Cheesecake was very unique. Worth a visit if you are looking for a traditional steakhouse.

Celebrating a birthday at Rococo is always special. Great food and service. We had several appetizers - onion soup was delicious with rich flavor and Gruyère cheese. Citrus salad. Salmons sliders with tartar sauce. Loaded chips. And a flourless chocolate cake. All accompanied with Belvedere martini and Chardonnay. Perfect place for a birthday

There's a little bar on the way so you can walk with a drink and enjoy the view. We ended up on the second (or third?) floor at Pier Teaki and got some drinks while waiting for our reservation. Ours was Thursday at 8 pm and definitely not needed but I wanted to ensure I got that window seat for the sunset! To be honest, the food was not my favorite. I got the wonton tuna tartar tacos as an appetizer and easily my favorite of the night. I also ordered the snapper plate that was served with blistered tomatoes, creamed corn, and tostones. It was fine. Nothing to write home about and I did have to ask for salt. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi and the shrimp was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The pasta was a bit lacking. He also ordered steak frites (to go) and the steak was a bit overdone and dry. Not enough to send it back or make a fuss but not exactly what we wanted either. The dining room is cute and cozy. We had a window seat and didn't realize our sunset view was going to be behind the skyline. It was still gorgeous though. The kitchen has sort of an open concept and I'm not sure if that contributed to how warm it is in the dining room. They had a couple of industrial fans blowing to help but it is on the top floor with wide windows and the Fl summer sun shining right in. It's to be expected. I've seen it a lot since I've been visiting but it should be noted that almost every establishment comes with a 20% service charge. All of the staff we interacted with informed us of this before ordering though so not a big deal. Our server was absolutely attentive and so kind.

It's good but not as awesome as the scenery. We enjoyed our main courses, but the dessert was pretty ordinary. It didn't even seem to resemble the menu description, so we asked the waiter if he had brought us what we ordered. He insisted it was what we ordered, so .... okay. At these prices we had hoped to be wowed by everything. But the service - uggh. The hostess seemed bored. The waiter seemed sluggish and indifferent. Sure, the waiter tried a few upsells, but his heart just wasn't in it. He came across as inexperienced, not particularly happy to be working, and it took a few tries to flag him down when we needed him. Here's the thing - Teak has gone to an automatic 20% gratuity on every check. That means that no matter how mediocre the service, we are still leaving a hefty tip - and the waiter knows it. And this place is not cheap. When we pay 20% autogratuity (and then pay sales tax on that gratuity) the cost of dinner is easily $150 for two people. At that price we should be getting excellent service even if the waiter is not having his best day. Until Teak can make that happen we probably won't come back.

Most recently, my husband and I came for dinner. We started with the burrata and plum special as well as the tuna tartare for appetizers. When I tell you I will dream about the burrata appetizer. It was that good. The tuna was delicious as well and we loved the shrimp chips and how they were shaped like little tacos to make your own tuna tacos! For dinner, I got the branzino and my husband got the cheeseburger with truffle fries. Both entrees were incredible. No notes. Then we got three desserts...we had the lemon tart and the donut bread pudding while at the restaurant and we got a chocolate cake to go. All of the desserts were delicious. However, the donut bread pudding exceeded any expectations I had for that dessert when I ordered it. I legitimately am considering coming back next weekend just for the bread pudding.

We had actually made reservations for 8:30 and were expecting to just have some drinks at the bar but the hostess sat us right away. There were only about 5 other tables occupied. It was quite slow which I thought would've been a good thing in terms of the speed of service. Not the case. It took forever to get drinks, to get the check and then to run the credit card. Our particular server was friendly but perhaps not cut out for being a server. Started off with the carpaccio and bread service. The dipping sauce for the bread is by far the star of this show. My understanding is that it's one of the staples that connect this place to Cafe Cibo. I can see why. It's amazing! They really ought to jar it up and sell it. I'd likely buy a whole case of it. I went with the pork chop for the main and it was ordered at medium temperature. It was way over charred and black (see picture). Although still quite most and flavorful it wasn't prepared correctly at all. The sides were good. In summary the service was slow, the food wasn't prepared correctly, and the service was far too slow on a non busy night. I'm glad I tried it but I don't think I'll be back any time soon. There are far better valued places in the area. It was a regrettable $300 dinner but c'est la vie.
