Excellent food and service, definitely upper class restaurant. We loved our appetizers and meals and steaks were perfection! Highly recommend!

Rococo Steak has been recommended to me for years and I finally made it there. Had a great dinner here last night for a private event. Service was attentive, friendly, but still not intrusive. Ambience was impeccable, with music at a very low level for ease of conversation. Furniture was aesthetically beautiful and also very comfortable. I ordered the 7 oz. filet mignon with broccolini and whipped potatoes. Phenomenally-seasoned steak, great cut, could be cut with a butter knife -- but was unfortunately quite blue inside (ordered medium rare). The potatoes and broccolini were absolutely divine however -- and so was my local greens salad with some of the best cheese I've had on an app in Tampa Bay. Would I come back? Absolutely, but I would send my steak back if it came back that blue (too raw) again, as I suffered mild food poisoning and couldn't sleep last night because of it.

This was a very good steakhouse, but our favorite part of our meal was the crab fritter, we also shared the heirloom tomato salad and we both ordered the prime filet mignon! Our steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking and we shared a side of their Parmesan truffle fries, these were just OK nothing to shout about! But the stars of the meal were the filets and the crab fritter! We can't stop thinking about that crab fritter! We also got an order of the white chocolate bread pudding but it was also just Ok! So my recommendation would be to try the crab, maybe even order it as an entree with other sides! The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and the tables were well spaced! Our server brought everything promptly as well! If you desire a well cooked tender steak this is your place!

I enjoyed this place, especially for happy hour -- 8.5/10 easily. You can feel their intention in trying to elevate the experience from the moment they open the door upon your arrival. TLDR; good food, great drinks & service can be hit or miss. I've had a few proseccos and chardonnays here that I enjoyed. The cocktails were always artful and spectacular, clearly made with a delicate hand. I recommend the Soleil with my whole heart as a Cognac lover. Sweet, smooth taste with a foamy finish, I could keep going back for more. It had a bunch of ingredients I've never had, or never heard of, and blew my mind. A peachy color with a very French 125-esque. For food, I've tried the sliders (good but nothing to write home about) and the meatballs. The meatballs were moist and earthy, very flavorful -- but the real coup was the sweet, punchy sauce cradling them. the bread was herbaceous. angle cut and thick. Our waitress hovered for a bit, but then service became super European when we were done ordering (I had to flag down for water and the check...). Other than that, I loved the experience here. It's a beautiful space that really elevates an already marvelous menu. I'll definitely be back.

Look at this crab cake! No filler! Delish!

Kicking off Valentine's Day early with a fantastic dinner at Rococo Steak. We started with a dozen yummy oysters then the local green salad and the crab cake(it's called a fritter on the menu, why?) and hubby enjoyed the strip steak and Brussels sprouts. Topped off with the chocolate torte. Perfect for a romantic evening out! Staff and service top notch!

Great food and great service. The lobster bisque was tasty and the overall atmosphere was excellent.

The steak was incredible, I had a ribeye... however the service didn't match the value We ate outside and the mosquitos were eating us alive... We were shutdown on this by the server and the hostesses Coupled with that, as they cleaned up our plates the server smacked me in the eye with the plate... he was extremely apologetic and as someone who's worked in service... I get it accidents happen I believe my CEO bumped his hand which caused it... No comp was offered as I requested privately, I was refused to speak to a manager. I'm here in travel and that's fine.. 120$ for great steak, a puffy eye and bug bites... -jf

Came here with business associates. Service here was very good. Great large yet unique space. Great wine selection on and off the menu. Appetizers looked great but we came here for steak. The ribeye was a beautiful cut and we all enjoyed our steaks. Sides were nice but very traditional. Desserts were really good. Cheesecake was very unique. Worth a visit if you are looking for a traditional steakhouse.

Celebrating a birthday at Rococo is always special. Great food and service. We had several appetizers - onion soup was delicious with rich flavor and Gruyère cheese. Citrus salad. Salmons sliders with tartar sauce. Loaded chips. And a flourless chocolate cake. All accompanied with Belvedere martini and Chardonnay. Perfect place for a birthday

We were on vacation in St. Petersburg and had dinner with a friend at Rococos. The decor is nice - like many upscale steakhouses it was a little dark, white tablecloths, soft music in the background, etc. We were seated right away and our server was at our table shortly after. I can't recall his name, but he was great! He provided excellent service all evening, but it wasn't too much. The food and drinks were very good as well. I'm not a big steakhouse person, but this was enjoyable and if I were to go to a steakhouse in St. Petersburg again, this would be the one!

On a recent visit, we started with the clam chowder because we have been telling our friends how good it was. Unfortunately, this time it was nothing like we had before. It arrived lukewarm, was extremely thick-almost like wallpaper paste- and had an odd taste. We mentioned it to the manager and he was very apologetic and removed it from our bill. He surprised even surprised us at the end of the meal with a complimentary dessert. He explained that they tried a different recipe that day. We told him they should go back to the original one because it is much better. For my meal, I ordered the Teak house salad with blackened chicken. It's one of my favorite salads and I could eat it every day! It comes with mandarin oranges, strawberries, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons and a delicious sesame pineapple dressing. I thought I had ordered the full-sized salad, but when it arrived it was smaller than I expected. It was perfect for lunch, but I probably wouldn't order for dinner unless I had an appetizer. I've had several of their seafood dishes as well, and they're always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. My husband usually orders the short ribs and says they are some of the best he's ever had. He orders them whenever he sees them on the menu so that's saying something. Overall, Teak is still one of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town visitors. The beautiful views, great service and good food keep us coming back. One thing to be aware of is the bill. A 20% service charge is automaticly added, and not all of the servers mention it. Just be sure to check your bill before adding an additional tip,

It's good but not as awesome as the scenery. We enjoyed our main courses, but the dessert was pretty ordinary. It didn't even seem to resemble the menu description, so we asked the waiter if he had brought us what we ordered. He insisted it was what we ordered, so .... okay. At these prices we had hoped to be wowed by everything. But the service - uggh. The hostess seemed bored. The waiter seemed sluggish and indifferent. Sure, the waiter tried a few upsells, but his heart just wasn't in it. He came across as inexperienced, not particularly happy to be working, and it took a few tries to flag him down when we needed him. Here's the thing - Teak has gone to an automatic 20% gratuity on every check. That means that no matter how mediocre the service, we are still leaving a hefty tip - and the waiter knows it. And this place is not cheap. When we pay 20% autogratuity (and then pay sales tax on that gratuity) the cost of dinner is easily $150 for two people. At that price we should be getting excellent service even if the waiter is not having his best day. Until Teak can make that happen we probably won't come back.

Our seats were pleasantly awaiting us. The ambience was amazing, slightly dark, romantic, Frank Sinatra playing overhead, with really cool decor. Karen, the floor manager, greeted us as soon as we walked in. All the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Mitch and Tordy were our bartenders/waiters at the bar and they were amazing and super attentive. They helped us with the menu! They have a full bar. I had the house cab, which was very good, and my husband had Ron Zacapa Centenario Edicion Negra Rum - which he loves and is very hard to find out, at a bar. It was a pleasant surprise!! My husband was disappointed because they were out of the pork chop because they had not received their scheduled meat shipment. But their whole menu does not disappoint!! We started with warm Italian bread in the bag and butter. It was amazing. I ordered the pasta bolognese which was so good! My husband had the 10 oz filet, cooked perfectly medium with a char on it. It was delicious and tender with green beans. The mashed potatoes were in a cast iron dish, super hot and caramelized, so good! Everything was amazing. Nick, the general manager, came by and checked on us. He was super nice. They have 1 bathroom and it was very clean. The restaurant was small and quaint. Great for a date night. I would recommend making a reservation. The whole experience was very easy, very relaxing, and we had a great time and meal experience!! We will be back, when we come back to visit St. Petersburg.

BEWARE. I was craving steak & my best friend Sheila H. that I was with recommended this place…read more She's been here few times prior. Our server Mitch was great. Offered us wine at happy hour prices well after happy hour ended 30 mins after when we still had full glasses of wine, however, the hostess told we had to leave our table. We were told we had to pack up our food. I thought it was a joke since our server had just dropped off more glasses of wine. Since we were being kicked out of our table, we had our food boxed up (side note: my Ribeye steak was not cooked thoroughly it was raw in the middle when I ordered medium so I couldn't eat it anyways I just eat the edges & thought I could just cook it at home... I didn't want to complain.). The brussel sprouts were burnt & tasted like it was tossed in pancake syrup. Since we still had a full glass of wine, we moved to the bar when seats opened up, the bar that was across from our table. There were very nice old married men at the bar that were persistent & offered to buy us desserts and more drinks. It was random & I thought that was strange. My friend that I was with took them up on the offer & I took photos of them together at the bar. The same hostess came up to us 30 minutes later when we didn't even get our desserts yet and told us that our time was up at the bar that we had to leave. So I had asked her what her problem was & I told her I had spent over $100 on steak at my table where I was actually kicked out of the table shorty after the steak arrived. She just rolled her eyes at me and left. A different young lady had come up to us and apologized for her. The owners Beau & Mo (never introduced themselves to us, were told by patrons next to us who they were) were there immaturely huffing & puffing in front of us the entire time at the bar behind the counter. After finishing our dessert & more drinks that the guys next to us bought us, my friend was talking to her neighbors that arrived, & then we left on our own. The next day including the several days afterwards, my friend & I received stalking phone calls, msgs stating the owners are affiliated with the people that could physically hurt us & to seriously watch our backs. I assume it was Beau & Mo that sent us the msgs. The language sounded like them under fake names. The owners had others harass & stalk us. I had to disconnect my phone# due to harassment. My friend was very scared for her life. They were watching her every move & calling her out even on her name change saying they saw it. She's in St Pete & frequently volunteers for St Pete community Depts & works for Pinellas County, so her local friends/coworkers in the St Pete community had contacted her the morning of and stated that Beau & Mo posted lies on St Pete Industry group pages & told the public to find us & harass/stalk us. Her friends sent her screenshots of every single Beau & Mo posting of lies/asking the community to stalk us/do harm by posting her contact info & where she lives/works. She went thru over a month of emotional agony from the threats. We did nothing wrong to deserve this poor treatment. I spent over $100 alone on myself. We were kicked out of our table within 56 mins at the table & told to leave the bar after 30 mins at the bar. I assume they were trying to turn tables (did we not spend enough?), however, we noticed they didn't ask anyone else to leave. This was my 1st time here. Def won't be back. ****The owners banned/harassed/stalked us due to our 1 star reviews (also, see review by my best friend Sheila H.).**** My friend & I reported all this to the police & the Pinellas county offices. I don't live in St Pete so a little tougher to maneuver, however, my boyfriend is a managing partner of his law firm in FL & luckily talking to him about it has lessened the terrifying experience after leaving this restaurant. My friend filed a report with the police in person to the police since she was scared for her life. She had stated the officer advised her to take legal action due to the info she showed of what Beau & Mo posted online about her. Side note, my boyfriend (he never dined here before) had made a resy for us a few months back since my good friend (the girl I was with during this horrible dining experience) recommended this place, however, we needed to cancel & he cancelled several days in advance knowing there's a no-show charge & short notice cancel fee. The restaurant still charged anyway. Other reviews said they had to leave a VM too to cancel days in advance & was still charged $50. He didn't make a big stink or try to get a refund from these scammers. Looking back, we never should have OK'd glasses of wine offered at HH prices. Stuck to our plan on leaving after our current glass of wine, we would have never had to deal with this insanity. We won't be recommending. The food we were served were similar to 1 star reviews which highlighted high # of likes for a 1star. That says A LOT.

We had actually made reservations for 8:30 and were expecting to just have some drinks at the bar but the hostess sat us right away. There were only about 5 other tables occupied. It was quite slow which I thought would've been a good thing in terms of the speed of service. Not the case. It took forever to get drinks, to get the check and then to run the credit card. Our particular server was friendly but perhaps not cut out for being a server. Started off with the carpaccio and bread service. The dipping sauce for the bread is by far the star of this show. My understanding is that it's one of the staples that connect this place to Cafe Cibo. I can see why. It's amazing! They really ought to jar it up and sell it. I'd likely buy a whole case of it. I went with the pork chop for the main and it was ordered at medium temperature. It was way over charred and black (see picture). Although still quite most and flavorful it wasn't prepared correctly at all. The sides were good. In summary the service was slow, the food wasn't prepared correctly, and the service was far too slow on a non busy night. I'm glad I tried it but I don't think I'll be back any time soon. There are far better valued places in the area. It was a regrettable $300 dinner but c'est la vie.
