A plumber from this company came to my home and as near as I can tell did the work requested adequately; the work was done 6 days ago. The concern is what Roc, the owner, did with my personal information. On good Friday, less than 24 hours after plumbing work was done, I received a call from a man who stated he was Roc's son-in-law. He stated that he was contacted by Roc and told that I had work done and that I wanted to sell my property. He stated that he covers the area that I live in. He was frankly hustling me for the listing of my home. I was shocked. I had only mentioned to the plumber who came to my home that I was considering putting my property up for sale in the context of only repairing what was absolutely needed. But, Roc disclosed my personal information to his son-in-law to he could make money off me with a real estate listing. I told Roc's family member that I provided my contact information for the purposes of the work and gave no permission to release it to anyone: I told him to delete all information of mine that he had. I am wondering how much information about my property was disclosed to the son-in-law by Roc. I told him what Roc did was completely unethical. I would never recommend this business for this reason. read more

This is a review of 2 jobs by Roc's Plumbing & Sewer. They cleared a drain line to our ejector pump in the basement and did a good job at a fair price. The bill was around $200. Two months later, I called them to clear a line between the house and the septic tank. I removed the septic tank cover and opened the access to the clean-out in the basement. I had run a steel snake in the line but was unable to clear the obstruction 25 feet from the tank and 10 feet from the clean-out. With a power auger, he decided to enter the line where it connects to the septic tank. It's hard to see so showed him exactly where that is located. I was very happy with everything until he handed us the bill for nearly $500. That is ridiculous. I paid the bill and called to speak to the owner about how they arrived at that price. They never returned my call. read more

I finally got around to writing this review. This plumbing company is amazing. We had a lot of things breakdown from our toilet leaking, issue with our battery back up, gas leak and faucet replaced and each was repaired without any issues. We had George, Mike and Chris here so far and they all do such great work and leave the area spotless. Their schedule was already full the week I needed service, but he was still willing to fit me in when I told him I'll be out of town for a while starting at the end of the week. His crew was amazing and skilled. They got my old stainless steel tub drain pipe, a faulty faucet water intake valve, and a rusted old faucet replaced. After introducing themselves (Luis and Jesus) they asked what issues we were having with the drain. They protected the work area and got to work. Our home had a few little problems with random rust issues and broken parts, as well as dripping issues, so we called Roc's and they were able to come next day (today)! The plumber Gino was very nice and efficient and he did a wonderful job fixing and replacing broken and rusted parts in our two upstairs faucets and one downstairs faucet, and well as our outside hose. He finished 4 jobs in an hour and it was apparent he knee exactly the problem and what he was doing in every situation. We wanted a new faucet in our kitchen, and he had the exact one we were thinking in his truck. Gino was clean and respectful, and he made sure that he put on his shoe covers every time he came into the house. We had a gas leak(!) and Roc's came to the rescue in fixing an old, old leaking valve as well as a second (!) leak. We had two outside water spigots that were about a century old, lousy to screw a hose to; both replaced and one got a new shut-off valve in a convenient small space, easy to access. My family had an emergency where our floor drain in our basement started overflowing with dirty water. After trying to wet-vac and snake the drain myself, I realized that the issue was the ejector pump outside had stopped working in the catch basin and the brown water level had reached that of the outlet pipe coming from the house (yes, absolute nightmare). I finally determined this around 1:00AM, and knew that there was nothing I could personally do to fix this; just had to tell the family that no toilets could be flushed, no sinks could be used, etc., which is NOT an easy thing to do! I called to leave a message that night and they actually texted me back within 10min to say they would be out in the morning! They showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the issue which I had suspected myself. To my delight, they had the exact model ejector pump in their work van with them and were able to start fixing the problem immediately. They were professional, worked quickly, and replaced some of the PVC pipes and check valves just to be safe. Moreover, they ripped out a bunch of roots that had started creeping through the seams and cracks in the basin so I wouldn't have an issue down the road with overgrown roots attacking and clogging the new pump. They gave me a quote that we agreed upon beforehand and that was the same amount I made out the check for afterward. I have used Roc's Plumbing for years. They have done projects for me that were both small and big. I even had them come and take apart my vanity sink when I dropped my earring down the drain. When they replaced my ejector pump, which I thought was going to be an icky and messy job, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was there not one drip of "yuk" from the pump being brought from the basement to the truck but the entire area where the pump was replaced was sprayed with a disinfectant. Today two of Roc's Plumbing associates installed my new kitchen sink and faucet. What a beautiful job. They tarped the entire kitchen floor and had to do some fancy figuring to put a very modern sink that I picked out into a not so modern hole in the countertop. 5 Star for sure. This company is so knowledgeable that whatever plumbing issue you have, they will have the solution. I've had an issue at my home for so many years that never got resolved by other plumbers. The previous plumbers would always talk in circles. Roc's Plumbing was the only company able to resolve this ongoing issue that lasted for years. I was sorry that I hadn't called them way earlier then I did. I guess it was the bright red vans that caught my eye. I have to say that not only are they knowledgeable, but also very efficient.
