For some reason, the moment I saw Andres' page, read some reviews, I had a good feeling about him. He was the FIRST of three quotes I requested. Because of MY scheduling conflicts, he was the LAST of three quotes I received. But as the saying goes.. "save the best for last". That statement couldn't me more true. I was lucky enough to watch him work and actually TEST what was going on BEFORE telling me how bad of a problem we had. The other two quotes I received saw the problem, tested nothing, and said they needed to excavate and because of that, the price was going to be way more. Their process was..."break the concrete, THEN rod the pipe to see if there's a clog", which would also be an all day job with a team. Andres insisted on rodding the pipe first, and that he'd be done in 20 minutes. He said IF that didn't work, (because he was going to test it again), THEN he would have to break open the concrete. I don't know about you, but that seems like a much more sensible option. He let me watch as he pulled all kinds of debris out of our kitchen stack drain. By the end, he had a nice sized pile, and water was flowing through there like Niagara Falls. He was done in 20 mins, as promised. Since he was there, I asked him if he had time to check our tenant's unit because they were having some drainage issues. He said he was trying to avoid rush hour, so why not? Lucky for us, he fixed another clogged drain, and a leaking pipe that we had no idea about! While we were talking, I asked him if he has a team he works with. His response: "No, I work alone because I don't trust other people to do good work and do it right". He also cleaned up after himself (you'd be surprised, but this is not always the case when people come work in your home), and I insisted on cleaning so he could leave, but he refused. He'll be back soon for some more work and I'm thankful to know we'll be in good hands. The world seriously needs more people like Andres. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Not like the others. Honest, responsive and knowledgeable. Need my bathroom sink unclog, which require going into the pipes in the wall of my apartment. Secondly, he fixed the low water pressure from the same sink by removing what turns out the be a small simple element in the water mixing line. The company who installed this sink could not do it, and they charge me 3 times as much he did. His response to my inquiry was insanely fast. The quote for the work was only if he completed the job. As noted in my previous review from October 24, 2024, I hired Andres for more plumbing work. It was a pleasure working with Andres again. He fixed a faucet that is unique and cannot be found anywhere and I am very grateful. In addition, he fixed a couple of sink faucet leaks, replaced water shut-off valves, fixed and cleared a cold water service line to a sink, and replaced our kitchen faucet. In addition to all of that, Andres repaired 3 toilets, including putting in all new parts on 1 toilet and changing a handle on another toilet along with the repairs. Andres showed up early and came into to help take care of a few things around a couple bathrooms. He replaced a faucet for me, and then noticed the drain and valves needed replacement as well. Andres also took care of replacing a shower trim kit, shower arm and shower head as well as a wax ring for a toilet and he replaced a drain stopper that wasn't functioning in a jetted tub. Although the work was challenging, he was able to finish and only charged me additional for any parts he recommended to replace (like the shutoff valves and my sink drain) Andres was neat, knowledgable, reasonably priced and courteous. He also didn't charge me for the additional time he had to take to run out to Home Depot for an additional part I needed for my shower. I did some Yelp/Thumbtask searching for plumbers with the best rate. He gave the best. Andres was here for about 1.5 hours, including ~30 mins of going to a local faucet shop to purchase the part. He only charged me for an hour's worth with the flat fee as mentioned beforehand. He did not up-charge me for the part like another company that I know do. He figured out what the issue was and executed the repair quickly. There was an issue with the kitchen faucet when with hot/cold warm water being mixed together when set to cold only. I contacted him over the weekend via Yelp and he responded very quickly. I asked him a question and was able to get a prompt response. I always appreciate honest, great communication, excellent service from a contractor. Andres met those 3 categories and will now be my go-to plumber. I give him my highest recommendation! read more

He offered ideas over the phone to fix the issue for free. When those didn't work, he Said that he would try to fix the day after. As it turns out he finished his job early and came right back to me with an offer to fix my problem that evening. No, after our fee at all, excellent value! He fixed it after a quick look see and a trip to Home Depot for the part. Charge me just a little bit more than what the base Rate for an after hours visit from another provider would've been. I contacted Andres via Facebook and he is a lifesaver!!! My washer was acting up but it was a plumbing issue and not a washer concern! He came out within 48 hours via a 10am appointment. Not only was he prompt , he was finished before 12pm! My pipe was completely rotten, leaking, and needed to be unclogged! He replaced & rerouted the pipe, provided lint traps, and sealed an area. The first time, his diagnosis took a really long time- we weren't sure if the problem was a plumbing problem or a washing machine problem and the washer/dryer unit was in a small closet. In the end, he said it's not a plumbing problem, it's the washer. When I tried to pay him, he said he didn't do any work so he wasn't going to charge me. A good, honest plumber! I appreciated that. I rarely post reviews online, but having used Andres three times now, I want to strongly recommend his outstanding service. His first visit was for a dead Flushmate unit in toilet in my main bathroom. He gave me a very reasonable quote and came very quickly - and when he found he couldn't repair the unit, he charged me nothing for the call. Six months later, I had a problem with another toilet - again, Andres came quickly and replaced the worn out flush valve, and the price was exactly what he'd quoted me in advance (with nothing added for the new valve). During that visit, he remembered the previous (and still unfixed) problem with the Flushmate, tinkered a bit with it again, and suggested it might be possible to switch the toilet to a conventional flush valve. A few days later, he texted to let me know that such a switch would not be possible, and gave me quotes for replacing the Flushmate or replacing the entire toilet. I considered getting the new toilet (because of some significant staining in the toilet bowl, which I had been unable to remove) but in the end opted for the new Flushmate unit. Within a week, Andres had secured the new unit and installed it. As a bonus, he had discovered something called Calci-Solve, which he poured into the toilet and which immediately dissolved the stains - he and I were both amazed at the results. Again, the charge for the service was exactly as quoted. Andres's rates both times were very competitive, he was able to come very quickly, he arrived when promised (and texted me to let me know when he would be 10 minutes late), and was always friendly and polite. All in all, one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider. read more
