Had the "Live & let live...."  attitude, when I caught them foraging for droppings from my bird feeders in the eve.     Later as the population increased, their nocturnal adventures within my ceilings  and walls prompted me to become more pro-active. Since this company had the best "Reviews",  I didn't  waste time getting bids. Joey proved to be a very good representative of our local Rodent Control,Inc. He promptly showed-up  C.D.C. compliant, and used boot-protectors, while inside my house.  He took a very long time to thoroughly assess my home's interior and exterior;  even inside cupboards and under the sinks,  etc. Seemed exceptionally knowledgeable re: the life & times of urban rodents! His crew of four men showed-up on time, and were also very compliant with Covid protective recommendations.  T They worked very hard, an entire day :  removed/ vacuumed  tons of obsolete insulation in my attic, sealed with screens  dozens of portals of entry all around the house and throughout my attic, installed traps  under sinks and in my attic, and sanitized & applied odor & Pheromone neutralizer. We saw signs of rodents in the attic. We called Rodent Control and Lee Engel came out a few days later. He took a look and confirmed we had an issue, clearly explaining the process for addressing the problem. Best of all, he said they just had a cancellation and that his team could come out the next day! The service is not cheap, but when we saw all the work his team did (they spent most of the day clearing out our old insulation, sanitizing the attic and securing any openings around the house), we were glad to make the investment. When they were done, he explained the next steps in a professional manner, planning to return in a week. One day later, we reached out to Lee when we heard a trapped rodent making a lot of noise up there. He called back and assured us this was perfectly normal and arranged to have someone come by in the morning to remove the rodent so it wouldn't be up there all weekend. I have been getting complaints from a couple of tenants at my 3-unit apartment building for a few months regarding rodents. Try to get rid of them myself for a few weeks and it did not work. So, I called Rodent control and met with Joe the inspector. He was helpful and thorough in explaining what their protocols for were for controlling rodent infestation. It was very smart that their tactics included closing any and all possible access points into the building (both outside/inside), so that the rodents will not be able to come anytime they want to. Also, I like the idea that they cleaned out and also sanitized the attic completely. Afterward, they set up several trap in the attic to catch any remaining rodent. These guys are amazing. Lee was top notch, as was his crew. We purchased an older home, in PV, which has all kinds of wildlife - including rodents! Because the home is older, there were a lot of entry points for rodents. As a General Contractor, I consider myself a tough critic of anyone that comes to do work in my home. I was incredibly surprised the professionalism exhibited by this company. Joe (our Sales Rep) was amazing! He tackled all of my concerns and then some. Frankly, initially I was a bit hesitant to move forward because of the sticker shock of the quote, knowing that I could probably have some of my guys do a lot of this work, but I decided to take a "leap of faith" and trust the professionals. My attic became infested with rodents and I called Rodent Control for help. A gentleman came out and surveyed my house for places where the mice and rats were entering. Within a week a crew came out. They arrived on time and immediately set to work. Access to my attic is in my hallway. They put plastic around areas in my home that could possibly be impacted by there work and laid protection on my floor. All of the workers were very polite and worked steadily until they had cleaned my attic and removed the insulation and disinfected the area. Someone will be back in two weeks to inspect the area and when we know that all of the rodents are gone, insulation will be laid. Both of my parents recently passed away and I inherited the family home. In the course of the last few months, rats got into the unoccupied residence and made a mess. I found Rodent Control on Yelp and chose them based on the positive reviews. I sent a message and received a quick response. I met with Joe Bloom who responded to the residence and conducted a thorough walk through and inspection. Damage repair as well as extermination was needed. 3/16/2022 This company has been great for us. Had rodent activity in attic of our one-story home. Had never used a rodent service before. They were the 3rd bid that we got. Have feeling that the first two bids were trying to oversell. This crew came out at time promised a few days ago. From what I could see, they closed all holes in home with cement, and put a good mesh on the attic vents. Too early to tell if all activity has stopped but there is nothing in the multiple traps that they place in garage and attic. Dorian Cha was very dependable and a good rep for the company. read more

Coming back from a 4 week trip to find rats in the attic and garage.
