    CHEESE FRIES NO SURPRISE
    Jaci G.

We stopped by Rodeo Goat in Plano before the dinner rush and noticed the staff busy filling a lot of to-go orders. The atmosphere is super laid back and casual, which we liked--but just a heads up, this isn't the place to go if you're in a hurry. They definitely take their time. There's a ton of seating both inside and outside, and the space itself is pretty fun. The decor is entertaining and they even have some little games around, which adds to the vibe. Everything felt clean--the tables were well taken care of and the bathrooms were spotless. As for food, we ordered the Blue Goat, the H.L. Hunt, the Royale with Cheese, and the cheese fries (No Surprise). I had the Blue Goat (no onions). It was good overall, though I wish the blue cheese flavor was a bit stronger. My husband got the H.L. Hunt and really enjoyed the candied bacon. Our son had the Royale with Cheese and it filled him up so much that he didn't even touch fries--and he loves fries, so that says a lot. Speaking of fries, the order was HUGE--easily enough for 5-6 people. If we come back, I'd definitely dig into those first while the cheese is still warm and gooey. By the time we got to them after our burgers, everything had kind of stuck together. Overall, a fun, casual spot with solid burgers and massive portions--just plan for a slower-paced experience.

Oh my! That bodacious burger is so delicious! One of the best burgers I've had since recently moving to Dallas. We also tried the loaded fries that has Chilli on it. It's definitely a shareable dish. The service was great our server was so sweet. The ambiance is chill and has tons of patio seating and you can bring ya pup! Definitely give them a try if you haven't yet

SWEET POTATO FRIES and two burgers yummy! Soft tender flavorful! Yah!

I love this place! I wish I eat the freshly ground meat burger place every day! Yummy! It's true Texas has some fine places to eat that makes it so special and Rodeo Goat is one of them. I was taking a lot of photos and exploring the areas of restaurant. This place pretty big and kitchen is way in front, then the dining room with high top seating and a place to play games and shoot the breeze with drink in your hand and to chat with folks if it got more busier in evening. Very large dinning area can fit large group of people in casual setting. The menu is vast and hard to decide what to get. We ordered our burgers and was delicious and soft and great flavor. Also great sweet potatoes fries . Yummy in my Tummy and yes I would come back next time I land in Texas! Yee Haw! let me find a cowboy! lol

The burger was great. Interesting art work all over the restaurant. The service was awful. We were seated at a table that needed a good wipe, the girl was lost. We needed to hunt her down for utensils, to order, to get refills, and finally get our check.

Came for an early dinner and the experience was decent. They weren't busy upon arriving and we sat where we wanted. Our waiter was attentive and friendly - no issues there. I ordered a D.C.C. turkey burger and added fries. The burger was good and fries crispy. Multiple locations in the DFW area - I'll definitely visit again.

It's called Rodeo Goat for a reason! The place has a fun, laid-back Texas burger joint vibe that feels a little like a southern diner but with a creative twist. One thing I thought was really cool is their monthly burger battle, where new specialty burgers compete and the winner stays on the menu until the next challenger takes its place. It definitely makes you curious about what burger will show up next month. We tried the Burger of the Month winner, Saddle Up!, along with the Firebird burger, homemade Goat chips, and a strawberry milkshake. One thing that surprised us was that the burgers don't come with any sides, so we had to order the Goat chips separately. The chips were great though, and the ranch that came with them was really good. The strawberry milkshake was a highlight--super creamy and delicious since it's made with real Blue Bell ice cream. Service was also really friendly. Our servers were great, and the manager (I think) even stopped by our table to check on us, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a fun spot for burgers and I'd definitely come back. I'm curious to see what burger wins the next round!

Tried the Bodacious burger at Rodeo Goat and it was so good. I also had some of my friend's Hot Bastard burger and some sweet potato fries, and those were great too. Server was nice and friendly as well.

Hair in my EVAN GRANT burger

There was hair inside my burger. See photos. It was scary. Really disappointed with my experience at Rodeo Goat. I was enjoying my burger until I found a hair inside of it, which completely ruined the meal for me. I understand mistakes can happen in restaurants, but this is a basic food safety issue that should never occur. The atmosphere and concept are great, but cleanliness and quality control matter just as much as good food. Hoping management takes this seriously and improves their kitchen standards moving forward.

Rodeo Goat is always a solid choice and this visit was no exception. We started with the Cheese Fries No Surprise which were cheesy, indulgent, and completely addictive as always. I had the Evan Grant burger with a Goat Llama to drink and it hit all the right notes. Packed with bold flavor and cooked perfectly. They really know how to build a burger that stands out. For dessert we went with the Churro Goat Balls which were warm, crispy, and filled with melty caramel. The perfect mix of crunchy and gooey. The service was great, the vibe was fun and relaxed, and everything came out fresh and fast. Rodeo Goat continues to be one of our favorite burger spots.

We love Rodeo Goat! It was our first time with friends to visit the Plano location. We usually go to the Fort Worth one. The fries were crisp. The burger was fresh and delicious. And I loved the jalapeños on my bodacious burger. 10/10!

Amazing! Everything was just right from the start, like if my expectations came to reality. I had the Chaka Burger with additional bacon on it but not just your regular bacon... they have jalapeno bacon flavor too which gave this delicious burger a heck of a kick , not spicy to the point where you can't enjoy the flavor but spicy flavorful (mildish) The staff are very attentive and super friendly specially for first timers like myself, I just loved the ambiance, and the quality of food for my bucks. I strongly recommend any first timers to stop by and get yourself a burger if you're craving something special... also their fries are some of the best in Plano/Dallas area that I've had since I've been here. I'm definitely coming back.

Rodeo Goat. Just discovered this place yesterday and everyone needs to go for the best burger ever

Food is always good and fresh it just sucks that it's always freezing in here and you have to try and suck it down in about 2 minutes before your food gets cold. At least the floor is cleaner than it was the last time I came.

This place is quite good overall, just not like the best burger you'll ever have. The burger was tasty and I found the big Tex unique but it could've been more flavorful especially the fried mashed potato part. The best thing here are the hand punched fries though. It's nice and crispy. The cheese fries no surprise is really good!

We visited this weekend as a party of three and all ordered essentially the same items. The only different item I had that was different the coleslaw. A couple of hours later, I became extremely sick, vomiting and experiencing what appeared to be food poisoning. I strongly suspect the coleslaw may have been the culprit, as I was the only one that had it. So not only was the meal disappointing, I ended up being the unfortunate victim of what I believe was food poisoning afterward. Definitely not the kind of experience anyone expects after paying for a meal. To the owners: this was money wasted, and I sincerely hope you take food quality control and service standards more seriously. Customers shouldn't leave your restaurant wondering whether their dinner is going to make them throw up due to food poisoning couple of hours later. Fortunately, DFW has no shortage of restaurants, and the competition here is fierce. With so many alternatives, second chances aren't guaranteed. Restaurants that can't consistently maintain food quality and service standards eventually lose customers to places that can. For us, Sinbad was a one-and-done experience. The name may be Sinbad, but unfortunately, the food was a "sin" to consume since it was so "bad" (no pun intended.)

We ordered the classic "double-double" burger, Kenny's steak bomb sandwich, and the Asian salad. The burger was delicious, nicely grilled, juicy, cheesy, and greeesy (which means it's good!). The steak bomb was great as well. The shaved ribeye, melted provolone, mushrooms, onions, and peppers all came together to make a fantastic sandwich. The beef steak was savory, and the portion was generous. We also loved the Asian salad. It came with cucumber, tomato, red onion, and avocado, along with toasty cashews and a sesame ginger dressing. The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!
