Finally made it here. Was seated immediately and drinks brought out shortly after. I loved the dim lighting in the restaurant. Ordered the 9 oz parmesan crusted chicken. Mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese were my sides. The chicken was great with the topping, great flavor and tender. Also tried the chicken without the topping and still solid but the parmesan top definitely makes it what it is. The mashed potatoes with the melted butter were heavenly. Perfectly whipped. I will say once I ran out of the butter, they were then ok. Mac and cheese was good but could have been better. Took THE cheesecake home to go. It was topped with caramel and candied pecans and was the perfect way to end my day. All the employees I can across were friendly and professional. I just wish I had a location closer to home. This was our first and absolutely last time ever going to LongHorn Steakhouse, and it was hands-down the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We arrived at 2:00 PM, weren't seated until 2:37 PM, and then waited an unacceptable amount of time for our food--only for it to finally show up at 3:45 PM. Nearly two hours wasted. When the food finally arrived, it wasn't even warm. After all that waiting, that's what we got. Completely unacceptable. The manager's response was a weak apology and vouchers for a free appetizer "next time," as if we would ever come back after this disaster. We left the food untouched and walked out. The ambience was not not joyful or enjoyable. This place showed zero respect for our time or money. We will never return, and I would absolutely NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. Checked out Longhorn wanted some light and tasty and they didn't disappoint. I would rate my service as a 3 I had a waiter in training and a waitress training. Both were pleasant however neither were attentive it took forever to place the order, receive the food or any follow up to refresh bread , drinks or anything. Food price fair for the quality, had no issue's there , restaurant needed to be cleaned several tables were still dirty and the waiting area needed a lil sprucing up. Parking lot was full , inside half crowded. My overall experience 3 out of 5 due to the time it took to place and receive my order. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon & we didn't have to wait to get seated. Our waitress was nice & service was good. I got the Longhorn Salmon, it was a pretty good an 8/10. Overall, we had a good experience. The salmon was cooked really well--moist, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The broccoli was fresh, and the rice paired nicely with the salmon. Unfortunately, the steak was much saltier than expected, which took away from the flavor. The Caesar salad was fresh but a bit bland and could have used more dressing and seasoning. The mashed potatoes and warm bread were a nice addition. The food was good, but a few adjustments to the seasoning would make the meal even better. Customer service is a thing of the past. I asked for my chopped steak to be well done it came out pink pink. I had to wait for them to cook it again i decided to get it to go No manager came to my table as I waited nothing I paid and left. A few weeks ago I ate at Longhorn Steakhouse for a friend's birthday, and now I'm hooked! I had not heard of idea they were so good! I can't move past one meal, the garlic butter chicken. It's superb!!! Tender, juicy, and taste that keeps on giving! I have been back several times since that first visit just for this meal. The service at each restaurant has been outstanding! It shows me the restaurant chain has a high bar when looking for wait staff. Let's face it, we have all had really bad experiences at restaurants. But not here. It almost feels like your being waited on by a friend, not someone you just met two seconds ago. They're top notch! And the restaurant decor is warm and inviting. Which is something I don't normally say about a steak place. Normally steak restaurants have a bunch of animal heads. And that has always bothered me. But this place focuses more on the rodeo decor. I've been to this location a couple of times and I'm glad to report that my service and food has been great and I can recommend this location and I'm looking forward to going back On my last visit I got the 6 oz. Flo's Filet with 4 oz. Lobster Tail with Fire-Grilled Corn on the Cob and the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. The steak was perfectly cooked to my taste, and it was well flavored and tender as I ordered it medium. The lobster was cooked perfectly and very scrumptious and tender. The mac and cheese was a bit too salty for me. The corn was delicious. It really is fire roasted too and you can taste the flavor difference from the flame. My waiter was excellent, she checked in and made sure everything we ordered was perfect. My wife ordered the 6 oz. Renegade Sirloin with 8ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp with a loaded baked potato and mixed greens salad. Her food was also very delicious and the seasoning had a perfect taste profile. We didn't order appetizers or desserts this time, but the Wild West Shrimp appetizer is plentiful, just make sure they don't over salt it. I forgot to mentioned I did order the Patron Dragon Fruit Margarita, which was delicious and I definitely recommend you give a try all the flavors come together wonderfully. I came here with my husband today to celebrate getting a new job that I start tomorrow. That celebration called for a big ole steak! I got the 12oz ribeye cooked medium rare. I usually get the filet and can cook that cut of meat better at home. However, the ribeye was pure perfection! The seasonings were on point and the meat was melting in my mouth. The restaurant was very Texan style and clean. The mushroom appetizer is cheesy delicious. The 4 cheeses are prominent over the mushroom. The mushroom is a good texture, not mushy or firm. The Cesar salad is very good, right amount of dressing, crispy romaine & it's not fishy at all. The croutons aren't house made but it added that necessary crunch. The cheeseburger was cooked rare even though medium was requested. The manager Kylee and server Anthony went above & beyond to make it right. It seriously was not a big deal to us but it was a huge deal to them. As we walked away my husband and I commented on how the service there was better than anywhere else we've experienced. Customer service & quality is a priority to them and it shows. The New York strip was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato was creamy and delicious. This was my second visit to a Longhorn Steakhouse this week. I was so impressed when I visited their Weatherford location Infelt compelled to try their Plano location, who's is MUCH a more convenient for me than Weatherford. We were greeted the entering the door and seated immediately. Though this location is probably 70 miles or so from the last location we visited, I was surprised that the ambiance was very similar. Even though it was starting to get busy when we got there. Our waiter, Jeff, was really impressive, and took great care of us throughout our experience. I ordered the Salmon and Shrimp Combination and for my sides I got Brussels Sprouts and the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese. The Salmon was cooked to perfection at medium rare, yet just starting to crisp on the outside, and the Shrimp were seasoned beautifully. The Mac & Cheese was delicious! While the Brussels Sprouts were good, honestly I doubt I would order them again as there are so many other options for me to try. My friend got the steak and it was just as impressive--cooked perfectly and packed with deliciousness. We had heard this was the place to try so it was time to pack up and head out. There is an option to join the waitlist from their web site and i highly suggest this as they were very busy and we had an almost hour wait. We got there late close to 8Pm and people were still waiting and coming right before closing time so this is a good sign. The server was new and had excellent supervision to make sure he did a good job but he didn't need it. I tried the Parmesan Crust Chicken since it was highlighted on the menu and went with a side salad and money mustard dressing. The side salad had some tasty croutons but was a basic side salad but no complaints. The chicken was very good and i suggest it if you like anything that is Parmesan crusted. This was one of the best baked sweet potatoes as sometimes they can be a bit stringer but this was perfect. The price is right in the middle for steak houses so a decent value. I am impressed with the staff at this restaraunt. I ordered a outlaw steak and it came out doner that I would like. I was going to just eat it. But my server offered to have it remade. Then the managers Bronco and Josh came out and insisted that they remake it for me to my liking. They said they spoke with their lineman and got it perfect! Dirty dishes left on table even though we stacked them at edge of table. Desserts were also great. Best steaks and sides! However the laminated menus were dirty with food and greasy fingerprints. First timer at LongHorn, probably first and only visit. I was hoping the majority of reviews were wrong, unfortunately they were not. Stopped by in a busy Friday night, joined the waitlist online. This is a busy non stop place, the entrance/exit and waiting area is chaotic. Restaurant felt a little dirty, very dark inside. Once seated we waited about 10 mins for our server, who answered all our questions on recommendations, we felt a bit rushed to order. Salads arrived promptly, entrees arrived in a timely manner, however my food was cold. Spouses steak was over cooked. I didn't mention it at all. After we were served we didn't see our server for the rest of the night until we were able to flag them down for more water. We used the mobile check out which was great and quick. I had dinner on Dec 28. The waitress Alaina said they were out of bread and she wanted to Take some home. But while I was eating my appetizer I saw bread going to other tables twice. I spent $90 on dinner. Call me petty but I feel like I should have received some bread. However, the Outlaw Ribeye is still the undisputed Heavyweight steak of the world!!!! Hands down! I had a meal and a few drinks - very good food and nice pours - Zach was friendly and QUICK. Food and a nice night cap in 30mins. I also ordered a ceasar salad. It was all very good. They flavor their food well. My husband's steak was too salty, but the manager cane over and they made it right, right away My adult son had salmon, which was also tasfty. It is a casual steakhouse, like Texas Roadhouse, so people generally dress casually. It is not pretentious, but the food is very good. My shrimp was $20. For that amount of food, it was worth it. The bartender argued about how to prepare a White Russian, saying you just dribble Kahlua over the top. I'm glad they ran out of Kahlua. My drink would have been awful. We went here for late dinner courtesy of our middle child. We ordered Rib Eye Steak medium well and baked Mushroom with lots of cheese. They're delicious. Serving Staff was busy and forgot to give us the utensils needed for the ribeye steak. She joked that we can use our hands for it. Not funny, after waiting for ten minutes for it. This place looks like a club or lounge instead of a steakhouse. It's so dark, we have problem reading the menu. This place is not good for retirees with bad eyesight. My wife and I have been loyal patrons of LongHorn Steakhouse for several years, dining at your establishments at least once a month. Unfortunately, based on recent experiences--particularly our most recent visit this past Friday--we have decided that we will no longer be returning. For the fourth time in our last five visits, our meal was disrupted by an extremely unruly child, who screamed loudly and persistently throughout the entirety of our 50-minute visit. The child, who appeared to be around three years old, shrieked every two to three minutes, and the parent made no visible effort to address or correct the behavior. What was most disappointing, however, was the complete lack of response from the restaurant's management team. Despite the obvious disturbance--evident by other patrons visibly shaking their heads and expressing frustration--no one from staff addressed the issue with the table. As someone with prior experience in the restaurant industry, I understand that managing disruptive guests is a delicate matter. However, choosing not to act sends a clear message to the rest of your diners: their experience is not a priority. A polite but firm intervention should have been made, with a potential offer to comp the disruptive table's meal in exchange for their early departure if the behavior continued. This was not an isolated incident, however. On another visit, we were seated next to a large group of visibly intoxicated men who appeared to be attending a work function. Several of them were inappropriately dressed--one was shirtless, wearing only overalls, and another walked in barefoot, slipping his boots on at the table. I had observed the group in the parking lot prior to entering, openly drinking liquor straight from the bottle. Despite their condition, they were served more alcohol once inside, and our meal was accompanied by loud profanity and disruptive behavior. Regrettably, it seems that the overall clientele at this location has shifted significantly, which is unfortunate given the consistent quality of the food and the generally excellent service provided by the staff. It appears that management is either unwilling or unable to maintain a welcoming and respectful dining atmosphere. Perhaps this is due to the comfort of routinely full weekend reservations, but I believe that relying solely on high foot traffic while neglecting the dining experience will eventually result in a loss of their core customer base--diners like us who eat out several times a week and value a pleasant, well-managed environment. We are saddened by the direction this location is heading. If these issues are not addressed, I fear that LongHorn risks becoming this generation's Sizzler - once prominent and now a punchline. read more

It was just all around delicious. I can't speak too much to the service because it was called in order that I picked up brought to the house, but I am appreciated. Although we have steak houses we enjoy, we decided to finally give Longhorn a try. The restaurant itself has a rather upscale and classy appearance, and our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. As an appetizer, she recommended the Texas Tonion...sort of a deconstructed "Bloomin' Onion". The good news is that it wasn't as greasy as the Bloomin', but both the coating and the dipping sauce were rather bland. The wife and I both got bone-in ribeyes.... Mine was Au natural and she ordered hers with blue cheese crust. Mine was thick and juicy - not bad but not quite the "bold flavors" our server had said Longhorn was famous for. My wife's steak was a little dried out and overcooked, possibly because of the blue cheese crust. We both had the Mac and cheese which was pretty good and very cheesy. I ordered the Fire-Grilled Corn on the Cob which was decent sized and pretty tasty, and my wife ordered Crispy Texas Okra. Again, she said the coating was ok....not bold, but the coating was falling off the okra. The bread they served was....ok, but the bread at other places is way better. Server Shane M was the perfect server. Shane remembered my order both this time and the last time I was here. Just when I think Longhorns could not get any better, it did!!! I am addicted to their fireCRACKer chicken wraps and their salads. I find myself here during lunch most often due to their cheap prices.
