Honestly a 3 star place all around. Bf and friends and I stopped here after being at Cinemark across the street and were overall disappointed. We were just given a very large plain burger and a topping bar to put toppings on ourselves. Burger and toppings were nothing to brag about. Fries tasted frozen. And the meal with a soft drink was still $14. I also noticed that their shakes were $9, though I did not order one. I don't think I'll be returning. I was very disappointed in the burgers. They are not home style burgers. The bun was very dry and flacky and the meat was dry and flavorless. The ambiance was nice until they let an old couple tell them to turn off music. If someone does not like the music they should just go somewhere else. The only nice thing was the service. Absolutely amazing burgers!! Party of two, ordered the Kobe burgers and they were simply divine! They were cooked to perfection, the mushrooms and onions were grilled perfectly, the buns were toasted just right, and having a topping bar is sublime! You can add any topping, including pico de gallo! Just amazing. The cook actually was invested when I was complimenting the manager on how well the food was cooked and how great it tasted. At their topping bar, you can customize your burger with a variety of fresh ingredients, including onions, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, jalapeños, ranch, mayo, and ketchup. With plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is perfect for a relaxing meal. It's a bit more expensive than it should be, but I really enjoyed my burger and the cheese fries (with ranch). Having the freedom to pile on as many toppings as possible is a huge plus. We decided to come here today, bc we haven't had burgers in a minute and happened to be jonesing for them. It's located across from the Texas Health Presbyterian. I didn't know what to expect to get bc I've never been here before and I'm so glad I did. This place reminds me of my favorite burger place that closed down during Covid: Fuddruckers! They have condiment bar(just like Fuddruckers did)and you order and pay at the counter. I personally love to be waited on, but it is what it is. We were the first customers after 11am and slowly more customers started to roll in. I'd bet this place is packed during the week!! I got a Alaskan Salmon(I don't like Alaska, but love wild Salmon)burger with Avocado and grilled mushrooms(I missed grilled onions and grilled Jalapeños on the menu, otherwise, I'd had gotten them too). PB ordered regular burger with cheese and large cheese fries for us to share and 2 drinks. They weren't cheap, but they were so delicious just like Fuddruckers!! The only thing was that Ranch dressing(for my fries)was kind of runny and I wished that it was a little thicker! I love Ranch dressing with my fries, but this time, I had them with mayonnaise which is another way for me to enjoy my fries. The nice young lady was very welcoming at the counter and our food came out fairly quickly. Inside the restaurant is on the dark side and the ceiling has nice acoustic to bounce off the noise. Best chicken sandwich in Dallas. My wife and I discovered Gazeebo Burgers as a referral from her hairdresser and we are so happy to have eaten there today. I had the plain chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and my wife had the chicken sandwich with avocado and cheese. There is a buffet area with all the fixings you could ask for. Taste was great and we paid about $15 each with tip. Restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. And, you get to see them cook your order, if you like. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Good grief. We had "dinner" there, last night. It. Was. Awful. The burgers were all way overcooked and literally had no flavor. The hamburger buns were the largest and driest buns in history. The only three things keeping this place from a 1-star was a) very good topping bar with fresh ingredients b) very friendly service and c) cheese fries were really good. From a burger perspective, this place is a zero stars. That was, quite literally, the worst burger I have eaten in years. Won't be back. Definitely wish these nice people luck. read more

I had no idea this place existed until a friend took me and I can't wait to come back. I got the turkey burger with sweet potato fries - I was full and satisfied when I left. I love that they have the condiments bar and all toppings set aside so you can pick what you want for your burger. They can also do any of their burgers on lettuce if you don't want the bun. They used to be great, but they're still good but expensive. They see us to be my go to place for a great chicken sandwich but somehow they're not quite as big and they're much more expensive so I don't go as frequently as I used to go. Strongly suggest that you either bring back your quality of food to fantastic or lower your prices to average to meet the quality of your food. You are in a great location right across from Presbyterian hospital, which helps feed your business. Just remember, hospital workers are not made of money and they have a cafeteria in the building. For the rest of us were not made of money either and the price of your chicken sandwich is definitely above the norm. read more

Sunday lunch is popular with friends and families. Good size crowd enjoying the food and better conversations. Its been four yrs since our last visit. Lots of hamburger and other venues to temp our food interest. They serve very likely the largest burger/bun in the county. And that's all as you have opportunity to put on it all the other stuff; lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onions, etc. I think this is only place in town where the customer puts on the fixins. Decided to try gazebo burgers after years of seeing it, and reading some good reviews on it, but I was certainly disappointed. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. My girlfriend ordered a regular hamburger. Both of us agreed that the meat had no flavor. The buns were stale and cold. I'm not exaggerating saying the three dollar burger at McDonald's was far superior. The fries were not seasoned at all barely salted. Perhaps this was a one off, but if I did hard to imagine how the hamburger could have no flavor even if it's cheap meat they're using you could doctor it up with some basic seasoning. $15 for the combo compared to $10.99 three for me at Chili's is no no comparison. This has always been my go-to place for a grilled chicken sandwich because the chicken is a good quality and size. But I have to find another place because it is just SO overpriced. For me and my teen to go here and each get a sandwich, a drink and share fries, it is $40. That is just crazy for a fast casual place. Plus, I do not know what changed, but the chicken is SO SALTY LATELY. The one I got this week tasted like they marinated it in soy sauce and was almost inedible. This restaurant is your classic burger place, good food, service, and the decor is classic but nice. Rather than ordering toppings, you order a burger, with cheese or bacon as an extra, and then use the topping bar to dress your burger to your liking. They have all the classic sides too, like fries, onion rings, etc. The price looks a little steep, but the portions are big and if you want to save a little money you can do a lunch special which is a burger and smaller side of fries. The food itself is great, the burgers are always perfectly cooked, the fries always fresh and crispy. The decor is more on the cozy side, but for a place like this it works! No bells & whistle at this place. It seems like they're taking advantage of their great location next to hospital and going bare minimum. It's a converted bar and clearly didn't make any changes since the original construction. The food is served in large portions, a great spot to go on an empty stomach. I had a turkey burger, well-cooked and they have a condiment station to put on any burger accessories. The fries were terrible though; they were really dry and lacked flavor, I didn't finished them. The milkshakes are delicious. Whenever I get it to-go, I always finish it before I arrive back home. Wish the prices were a tad lower. read more

However, the lady at the cash counter is not at all friendly and stared at me in a hostile manner without any greeting and not even smiling. Thank goodness there is another delivery place that knows how to make a hamburger. It arrived fine with toppings on the side the only thing is you know it never looks anything like the photos I would have loved to have russian dressing or thousand island if that is what they show. The meat was a thin patty ( a little dry but the bun was toasted I expected it to be bigger and I would not suggest the french fries they were soggy and very expensive they should have come with the $11 burger. It wasn't what I expected. I'm not sure where the "Gazeebo" name comes from... but I've always found it odd. We finally stopped in after visiting the wildlife preserve off Parker road a few weekends back. I had seen some pretty appetizing photos of Gazeebo burgers and wanted to give them a shot. Inside, it felt like a Bennigan's - Large, dark, heavy, wooden interior; A salad-bar of burger fixin's. But it's counter-order instead of table service. Like a Fudrucker's, I suppose. The drink machine was dirty and there was a trashcan in front of it from cleaning up an overflow issue, that was also filthy. There were un-bussed tables, and a large party going on in the back. There was no one else dining-in on that Saturday we went, besides the party (a kids' soccer team) but a lot of people came in to pick up to-go orders. My burger was decent. Nothing to write home about, nothing I'd ever crave specifically. The patty was thin in comparison to the toppings, and it didn't have any inherent flavor of its own. I should have added salt to it - but also, they should have seasoned it when cooking it. The standard veg available at the bar are what you'd expect from a neighborhood burger joint - un-ripe tomatoes with hard cores still in them, iceberg lettuce, red onion cut too thick. I do appreciate that they have pickled jalapeno out as a standard topping. I honestly will probably not go back because I love burgers so much, I need them to grab my attention. I realize this is a neighborhood staple and many people in the area consider this a part of their childhood - and that's great. It was an okay burger - but that's it. read more
