The location is weird, the overall vibe is weird, and I never really felt comfortable here. Normally, when I check in at a Hilton property, I receive water and a sweet treat. I watched the couple who checked in right before me receive theirs, but when it was my turn, I received nothing. It may seem small, but it was noticeable. What really made me uncomfortable was a male hotel employee we saw walking toward us on the first floor. He stared at us as he walked by without saying a word. Then, when we got off the elevator on our floor, he was there again. It honestly creeped us out. I would not recommend staying at this property alone. The hotel itself was clean, but dated. The doors are very heavy and slam loudly. The bathroom sink and faucet were awkwardly designed and caused water to make a mess. Shower pressure was just okay, and the beds were nothing special. The TVs are older models, and the lampshades in our room were visibly worn, torn, and discolored. The parking situation also didn't make me feel great. The lot is very dark and can feel creepy, especially if you have to park farther away from the building. Many of the spaces closest to the hotel are reserved for the doctor's office next door. The pool is very small. During our stay, someone was having a pool party, and it was packed with little kids running around with seemingly no adult supervision. What bothered me was that hotel staff didn't appear to intervene at all. For what this hotel offers, I thought it was overpriced. If you absolutely need a place to stay for 24 hours because of its location, it'll do. But otherwise, I would look elsewhere. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about this property just did not feel right. I didn't feel comfortable, and I will not be returning. Stay at your own risk.

Our room 220 also had stains on the carpets, and the bathroom had dirty corners in the shower and on the tile. The mattress protector was ripped on one of the beds. Breakfast was included, and the area was kept clean but presentation was unusual with a chicken patty and egg patty on a shelf. Bed was very comfortable after a long day at the auction. For $330 seemed it was priced high.

It's run by a lovely couple who have thought of almost everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Most of the accommodations is handled with little human interaction: book your room online, get a digital code to use on the door the day of your check in, fill out a sheet for when you want breakfast, and enjoy your room. Every piece of wall and floor is covered in charming decor, most likely from the local Amish community, from handmade rugs, to cute paintings, to little figurines and plaques with wholesome quotes. In the rooms themselves, printed signs in big print show instructions on how to use your amenities. Breakfast was the highlight of my experience. Each breakfast is a mix of fresh fruit, a breakfast cake or pastry, and a home-made meal that changes every day. A lot of time and effort went into making each meal special, all of which accompanied by coffee and juice. Each morning on our stay, we were greeted by the extremely friendly owners. During my stay, my wife and I found a few extra surprises that we didn't know were included when we originally booked our stay: A study that's perfect for reading or playing chess, complimentary snacks and whiskey, bath salts for our hot tub that was included in our room, complimentary Hulu streaming service. A booklet in our room had the history of the town, local attractions, and the best nearby restaurants for dining in and taking out. An outdoor area with nice chairs and a fire-pit. There were a few minor nitpicks that might be a bigger deal for you than they were for me: during our stay, the towel hanger on the wall fell off, most likely due to a lose screw. The thin walls made it possible to hear other guests and the occasional car outside. The TV in the room is so small, that it was difficult to enjoy. Americana is a wonderfully charming B&B experience that made our Pennsylvania trip all the more special.

The first level was the living room and had a big screen TV with Hulu live included, plus access to log in to any other streaming service you subscribe to. The second level was a jacuzzi tub. My only minor complaint is that you can't see the TV from the tub. But it's the perfect size for 2 people and soaking in it felt amazing. My back was a bit sore and the jacuzzi made it feel better. The 3rd level was the bedroom. It had a TV with all the streaming services available, assuming you subscribe to them. The bed seemed small but still comfy for two. 10% of each booking of The Patriot is donated to a rotating military charity quarterly. My girlfriend is a military veteran so she loved the military theme of the décor and the charitable contribution. You have the option of 2 Breakfast times (8:30 & 9:30), and breakfast both days I was there was delicious. French toast one day and breakfast tacos the next day. I devoured each mouth watering breakfast. As a bonus the inn is next to a brewery that has good beer, cocktails and food! What more could I expect from a B&B? I shall return!
