Stopped in on sat for lunch with a few friends. I'll be honest. Part of me wanted to skip out because it was almost dead during lunch on the weekend. Nearby at other resturants the parking lots were all packed so it makes you wonder whats going on. We were seated promptly and the service was pretty quick over all. Our server had a great attitude and was easy to converse with. The salad bar was ok. Nothing special and I wouldn't pay for just the salad. It felt the salad bar was an afterthought. There wasn't much space for the salads and there is stuff laid out all over the counter. The appetizers were also ok but not really a hit with our table. We didn't finish our initial plate and no one asked for more. The meat was somewhat of a hit or miss. Sometimes it was dry and flavorless, other times it was juicy and flavorful. I suppose the inconsistency was somewhat due to the slow turn over of the meat and the newness of the place. All in all I would say it was a notch or two below fogo and I would pay the extra to go to fogo rather than rodizio for the better salad bar and better meat offerings. read more

This is one of the favorite spots my kids love!! They even have favorite gauchos ! Great meats, salad bar is good too, I think great value especially at lunch, dinner is a little pricey but really great food and most of the time good service unless you get stuck near a large party or off where no one else is and they don't come near you as much with the meats. read more

We came here for the last day of Restaurant Week on Friday at 7PM. The place was not super busy but we were told to wait for table. We didn't understand why since plenty of tables. Well, they were seating larger parties first and after 3 parties were already seated. We spoke to the GM and he sat us himself. Poor service in our opinion. Afterwards, we found out the wild game meats were not included in Restaurant Week as previously advertised online. Oh well, I didn't want to try something too weird like rattlesnake. The meats were okay and probably a downgrade from Fogo which my wife and I agreed. The dessert was flan which was just okay. The salad bar was a bit smaller than expected but still good too. There was a rude lady which put us off in a bad mood. She first complained my wife was too close and invading her personal bubble space. The next time, I grab what was left of the greens from the salad bar and she blurted out that I took what was left of her salad. Well, I guess Maple Grove folks are your standard fare of people. My vote still goes to Fogo de Chao but not really into these steakhouses. I will always go for sit-down like Campiello's, Acquas, and Oceanairre. read more

Checked this place out during restaurant week. I thought it was ok. It's compared to another steakhouse you can find in dwtn mpls but that one is by far better. The salad bar was ok at best the highlight were the mashed potatoes by far. As far as the Gauchos and our sever the service was awesome. The meat selection was ok but some of the better cuts of meat were far few and in between. Probably would not go back unless there was some sort of special occasion but I can say I checked it off my list. Was neither excited or disappointed in this place. Ate here for lunch after checking out the reviews. Afterwards wondered why they weren't higher cuz we had a great meal; way beyond what we'd expected. Our wait guy, JR, was very helpful & attentive. Clecio, the guy who hustles around with the different meats, was constantly on a trot. Lotsa enthusiasm. Like everyone else we thought the grilled glazed pineapple was fabulous. (Tried to talk 'em into a 5 gallon pail free sample to go but they were onto us right away.) The olives were wonderful. The Brazilian strawberry lettuce salad with raspberry vinaigrette was great as was the pea salad. Loved the quinoa salad. The turkey pastrami was nummy. Overall a great experience. Stopped in here with a friend - I had a Groupon, and frankly I wouldn't have come here without it based on the price. Service was OK, appetizers were good, salad bar was unimpressive, but the meats were fantastic. We enjoyed everything that was brought to us, including the marinated chicken hearts. The non-beef dishes actually topped the beef dishes, in my opinion. The spicy chicken, glazed ham, glazed pineapple, pork and lamb were tasty and tender. But as good as it was, I don't think I'd come back at a $40+ per person price tag for dinner. read more

Cheapest rodizio I have been to. Easily as good as fogo and half the price. They also have grilled pineapple. I would not do any other rodizio in mn. Not the best out there but the best value and equal to higher priced mn rodizio restaurants. Good service... Good medium rare cook. read more

1st time here. Very good choice of meat they have here. Cheaper then fogo di chao if you don't have salad. I'm not a salad person so it's cheap. Why add salad when meat is more expensive, but that's just me lol. They do charge additional if you eat salad. 12.00 something so it isn't worth it for one plate of salad. Spices on the meat are perfect. Medium rare steak are nice and juicy. Chicken are cooked prefect. Alot of meat here but I'm afraid I won't finish it all because I'm so full. This is by far the worst restaurant services I've ever been subjected to and the worst Brazilian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The meat was clearly leftovers from lunch; dry and absolutely tasteless, it seems like the restaurant had run out of SALT. Also, the meat was either not cooked enough or overcooked--nothing in between. In addition to the horrible meat the service was equally bad. The picanha passed by our table only once, water was never refilled, waitress left a dirty glass from another table on our table and she also took at least 20 minutes to bring us a glass of wine, another 20 for the check and another 20 to return my credit card. On the way out I spoke with the manager that also never troubled himself to pass by our table during the 2 hours we were there, and obviously didn't notice that the service was a fiasco. If you want authentic Brazilian food go to Fogo or to Samba taste of Brazil, trust the Brazilian on this one!!! read more

My Fiance proposed here and ever since we make it a point to go in for their terrific food and amazing service for date night once a month, since then we have brought groups of friends in there for their first time and well now they do the same thing also. The price is a little spendy but its worth every penny. Easily the best place to go for a nice special occasion dinner. read more

The food was great and hot! It felt more easy going than the competition and more family friendly. The selections on the salad bar were good and the prices were fair. My husband said all the meat choices were delicious. About $10 less per person than the competition. We would go back since you don't have to pay for parking either! The only thing I would say is the waitstaff likes to gather and gossip which makes them look less professional. Our server was great so no complaints there. Also, one of the servers was right out front having a smoke break. I would change this location. read more

Lets face it, there are no perfect restaurants, but this place certainly made a top notch impression with me. The salad bar was very good - at first I was disappointed that there was no blue cheese dressing, but then I realized the actual salad options were rather limited, then I saw all the prepared (pasta type) salads and other offerings in that category and yum! They even had roasted garlic!! Soup was ok, cauliflower - bacon or something like that...ehh. But then the real feast started - the meats were fantastic, the servers were all so very pleasant and polite, the frequency of their visits was very well spaced, not too frequent, and more importantly, not too spaced apart. Even when it started getting busy, the staff just moved faster - great job! Manager stopped by our table and paid us a very nice visit. The meats were all great and the glazed pineapple was like having desert in the middle of the meal. Then I got even more excited when I saw what I thought were roasted mushrooms on one of the skewers, but they were chicken hearts - PASS! The price was very fair for what you got. Amazing!! Seriously, it is. We were there for the first time last night for our date night and I loved it. The bartenders were so nice and friendly. Our server was awesome, Kevin was always checking in with us. The manager was around to see how we were doing and the food was constantly coming when our marker was green. The meat was very good. But the salad bar could be way better. It would also be nice if the labels on the salad would say spicy on them. I took bread and marinara sauce. This was my first time going here. I had been to fogo de chao so I kind of had an idea what to expect. In my personal opinion I very really enjoyed myself here. My wife and I came just for a Saturday night dinner and the service was great. The different types of meat were delicious. The steak was tender and very juicy as was the chicken and pork. The sides were great from the salads to the cheese bread that they make there. I highly recommend this place and we will be going back again for sure. read more

Our family has gone to this place a few times now. I find it to be a great deal if you want to try a Brazilian steakhouse but don't want to spend too much money. They bring you appetizers right away, I really enjoyed the fried polenta, little cheese bread and the fried banana. The all-you-can-eat list of meats is good and they'll bring it in skewers as much as you want. The other nice thing about it is that it is always warm since you don't have a large piece of meat sitting in your plate for a long time. The buffet is not very large compared to other Brazilian steakhouses and that is in part why you pay less money. Having said that, we've tried both the all-you-can-eat meat option as well as the less expensive all-you-can-eat buffet options and found both to be a good deal. My experience at Rodizios was wonderful. Great salad bar/buffet and a very friendly staff. The staff came around with their variety of meats. This is nonstop until you say stop. We had a nice young man Jared, that was very personable and fun. Very engaging in conversation with each round of the offered selection. Great service and large variety. We had a group of 15 for the lunch menu and the service was great. We stayed past four and were offered some of the dinner specials. Hubby and I went for restaurant week. Has a reservation at 7, went in at 630 and was seated by 645. Our waitress was helpful and food was wonderful. Meat was seasoned well and the guachos came around with meat and pineapples often. Our experience here was a lot better than at Fogo and was a lot cheaper. The only downfall is that Fogo has better sides (bread, pimento fries) and a better variety salad bar. But our overall experience was great and we will be back again. read more

My husband and I have eaten here many times. However, the prices are extremely high and not anywhere near our budget anymore. If their pricing was not so high, we would eat there more often. We are senior citizens and their prices are no longer affordable for us. That is pretty sad since we have always enjoyed their food. If their pricing accommodated seniors better, we would love to go back. It seems that restaurants today just want to sweep seniors out the door and pretend that we do not exist anymore. If you think about it, most of us have been patrons of their restaurants for many, many years when we were younger and now that we are senior citizens, we are no longer welcome and just swept out into the street like yesterday's trash. Where is your loyalty to those of us who were your patrons for many years? Very, very sad when you think about it. We should be very respected for spending our time and a lot of our money in your restaurants when we were younger. Shame on all of you!!!! read more

Just wonderful. They have an excellent and full salad bar with many, many things beyond salad. You could subsist on that slasher for days and be quite happy. The full meal, however, is amazing. There are a large variety of meats. Beef, pork, chicken, even fish. If you want something done a little differently (rarer or more well done), just ask one of the waiters and they are happy to accommodate you. The staff really are all quite good. The meat itself is not quite as good as Fogo de Chao, but only by a little. It's thankfully cheaper. It also has, unlike other steakhouses in the area, grilled pineapple. That pineapple is to die for, and can be the perfect way to cap off the onslaught of meats. Unless you choose desserts, which are also generally wonderful. Find a Groupon if you can, but definitely worth your patronage. read more

Meat, meat....holy meat! I'm not usually a fan of buffet style restaurants but I was fairly impressed. The salads, pastas, and other side dishes weren't your average. The meat was cooked well and tasty! Never ending chicken, beef, lamb, and pork (if your a fan). The grilled glazed pineapple was a definite favorite. The staff brings you the food on a green/red light system. Only thing I didn't like was that while we were trying to catch our breathe (it's a buffet after all) a few minutes the manager came over to ask us (a party of seven) if we were waiting for something specific (I assumed he meant a particular type of meat, idk) and it felt as though he was trying to rush us out. Other than the sirloin, most of the meat was WAY over-cooked. The roast beef (at least I think it was roast beef) was charred beyond recognition, and tasted like when my mother forgot the roast in the oven for an extra 2 hours, the lamb was way overcooked and had a horrible gamey flavor, the pork was doughy (I don't even know how you accomplished that). The gauchos were great but our server was kind of goofy and didn't do anything except tell me "Just get up and I'll show you the appetizers" which was fine, but the way he said it was not. Lastly, all over the internet it said it was $32.99 per person, but when we got there it was $39.99. Felt like bait and switch. Overall a horrible anniversary dinner.
