I talked with the technician over phone, and he told me it'll about $800 to replace my timing belt and water pump kit on my Honda. To save money, I told him that I bought all of my parts he then told me that he couldn't do it. I would've saved myself 400 and something dollars. I spent only $178 for my complete kit on my car including the cylinders and he was trying to charge me 360+ in parts, and whatever the tax may be bringing the total to $800!! I do not recommend this business at all, run like hell!

I started going here after some terrible experiences with my mechanic of several years, and E1 has…read moreconsistently been great to work with. I decided to give them a shot after such an incredible experience getting my windows tinted at their other shop. I am car illiterate and they're super patient with me. They've caught and thoroughly explained improper past fixes and what kinds of issues I have. They are proactive in communication, are friendly, and the ability to get an uber ride to and from the shop on their dime is incredible. They've also given me a loaner to use when they've had my car for extended periods. My last shop (European Service Center ) felt like I was picking up a part time job just to get any communication and my car would sometimes be there days on end without getting worked on. I feel like E1 is super respectful of my time, cares about my business, is very professional, and keeps me informed without me asking- it's so refreshing and appreciated. They are not the cheapest but also not wildly expensive either; their pricing is on par with my last shop and things are actually done right. I recognize that things don't always go perfectly and care a lot about how a company reacts to makes things right. I had a slight issue with my struts repair after about 9 months after the fix and they stood behind their work no problem and fixed it promptly (they have a 3 year warranty on work done). Went back to address the situation due to warranty and the shop was closed up and still has never opened back up again. He literally robbed us of our money and closed up shop. We're from the bastrop area and relocated to houston so to trust a bastrop mechanic and get robbed here in houston by one too is very unfortunate.
