Just wanted to give a shout out to this store and specifically one of its salespersons. I recently got back into the game and was looking to upgrade my driver. Andrew answered all of my questions and spent the time helping me test 4-5 drivers. He was super helpful, knowledgeable and patient as I hit probably 50 balls in one of the bays. I wrote a unfavorable review about two weeks ago concerning my cracked driver, the manager Byron had called me personality to hear my concerns and apologize. I received my replacement driver and I feel my review was probably a positive thing for them to rectify and acknowledge that customer service is number one. Wow. Just wow...Stopped in here to have shafts pulled from 2 old irons. I was quoted 20$ a club. I was shocked....Really??? I often wonder how stupid these people think the public is. 40$ to put the torch to 2 irons and pull the shafts out???? TAKES LITERALLY 2 MINUTES. No thank you. Further, they weren't very friendly, walking away as I was talking to them. You are struggling to survive. I would think you would be BEGGING to be nice to people here. This store is on its last gasp and I won't be back. Try PGA Superstore or even Golf Galaxy for FAR better customer service. EVERYTHING in this store can be ordered online and usually at a better price. I bought a pair of addidas 365 ultimate slacks while I was here so as not to waste the trip, but I will never be back. Bryon, the store manager, has always been very helpful. Most recently he took the time to remove worn out spikes and replaced with new ones.

Every single time I've come by for any particular golf need, the staff have always been friendly and willing to help. The patience they have with new golfers is really encouraging since my biggest worry with trying this sport was the potential for snobby attitudes. read more

Hated going to this store hated it been going there now since they changed out new personal they have 2 new managers Byron and Darren and Great Move from management to bring in good people to run your store I had met Byron in Santa ana a couple times out there when he help me out there . Absolutely the best move Roger Dunn could of made this store now is such a pleasure to come to they actually ask you if u need help and want to help you and dont make you feel like a dummy when u ask a question being that we are all not professional golfers . This store among all golf store for me personally is the best. I've been to other Roger Dunn, Worldwide Golf, etc. However, this store has good and great personnels. The Manager Byron Schafer is a great guy. You could feel that he cares for customer's interest. Came in to look for a golf bag. Took the bag on the front counter and I ask if I can get a little break from the price. I wasn't really expecting he would give me a discount. He knew I have been back and forth in the store eyeing on a bag. To my surprise, he gave me a good deal. again, I wasn't even expecting it. I decided to even get me a used putter and two tee-bag on sale. Honestly, if he didn't give me a deal, I could have walked-out due to my limited cash. Bryon has compassion with his customers. If you are readers of this review, I urge you all to go to this great store. I guess good manager have good personnels. I went there to buy a complete new set of clubs, however after an hour I finally got someone to talk to me and that lasted 2 min and he went back to having conversations with other older men about nothing. There were 3 customers and 5 employees and I was ignored completely. Guess I'll be spending a few grand somewhere else. read more

I'm honestly so impressed by All of the Roger Dunn stores.. their customer service is honestly the best I've ever seen. There's so many times that you go into different locations at retail chains and the customer service is good at one and bad at another.. but I've had nothing but the best experiences at any Roger Dunn. I will spend money in here anyday! I dont think I have had better customer service. Nordstrom doesnt even top the experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful in this store. Had some Christmas shopping to do. They have boxes for gift wrap, no hassles with coupons and they even offer to walk you to your car if its dark at night... The store is small but they have several sizes avail and all the latest styles I was looking for. The prices are camparable to what is on Amazon. I shop here every year for my husband. This is an outstanding store. I bought some clubs there (two years ago ) and had a problem with one of them. I called them up and they said bring the club by and they will send it off to factory for repair. I showed up and instead of sending club to factory they gave me a new club instead. DON'T TAKE CLUBS HERE FOR RESHAFTS AND REGRIPS. Anyone off Craigslist would listen better. Grips are basic and shouldn't be crooked and have waves! I also wrote down specific shaft lengths for new shafts. They completely ignored them and each shaft is an inch longer then what was written down. SMH. Amateur hour. Don't waste your time. read more

Awesome having a quality shop like this in Riverside. Stopped in a couple times looking for new irons, they have a good supply of demos available and a simulator in the back to try them out on. I stopped in twice and worked with 2 associates and although they were busy they really helped me find irons adapted to my swing. Since golf equipment prices are the same at every shop its a great place to purchase your equipment to support a home town business and also have good customer service and the 90 day exchange policy! read more

Went in today to look for a set of Cleveland clubs and asked the salesperson if they had or could get a set and was just kinda blown off saying they couldn't get anything because of covid 19. Not sure why I can purchase them elsewhere without a problem, but this "Major" golf store couldn't get them. I was willing to drop $800 to get them, but because of that salesperson (sorry, did not get his name) I will have to drop that cash somewhere else. Fantastic golf shop, the service and atmosphere in there is great. They're very helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy and making you feel like you need to buy something. The manager Byron is absolutely fantastic, I had issues at two of the roger Dunn's with customer service and even though it wasn't from his stores Byron took great care of me, he waived the fee for work done on my driver and helped me get a new wedge, they didn't have 62 degree vokeys so he offered to bend a 60 to 62 degrees. But took his time asking me my style of shots to make sure we got the wedge with correct bounce since that would altered as well. In addition to the driver work fees waived he gave me a 25 percent discount on a brand new sm8. I couldn't be happier and pleased with this store and Byron as the manager. I will only be coming here from now on. Thank you Byron and the rest of the crew you guys do a great job! read more

I've only been here twice, but I've been very impressed by the service and prices each time. Last time I went, I bought a driver for 20% below the lowest price online. I expected to pay almost 100 bucks more than I did for the thing buying it retail. Also, they have a ridiculous guarantee on clubs, and I was told I could return it within a certain time if I decided it wasn't right for me. I didn't take them up on this though, as the club was exactly what I wanted and it fits me well, adding 30 yards to my drives on average. You just can't go wrong shopping at Roger Dunn. I'm just glad its in a remote location from me or I'd break the bank shopping here. read more

For my birthday, my boyfriend bought me my own set of golf clubs. He had been telling me he was going to and this past weekend we got in the car and we headed for a "mystery stop". I kept asking questions as to where we were going and he did a good job of tricking me. I was SUPER excited when we pulled into the parking lot of this store. I was also nervous though, b/c I'm pretty new to golfing and don't know what all is what or how things are supposed to feel. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. They helped us get the clubs off the shelf, and set things up for me to take a few swings and try the clubs out. Once we picked a set of clubs, the person working the club area took them up to the front for us. As he was walking them up there he helped us pick out some balls and he took them up there as well. He then directed us to where the ladies gloves and similar accessories were. He showed us some different things, and then let us look. Once we got up to the front counter the gentlemen who checked us out was very talkative and helped make the experience that much more exciting for me. Any question we had the staff was able to get us an answer right away. And anytime it seemed we needed help they were right there. I HIGHLY recommend this place for all golfers, new to seasoned. read more
