There are about eight food concepts in total on the perimeter of the building with a main bar in the center. I went with a rice bowl from one spot and had a few of the mini donuts from the other location for dessert. I also saw a Thai food concept, a smoothie bar and a ramen spot. There are a lot of different seating options available, but none of them are particularly comfortable. When I went for dinner, the place was only about half full and the trash area was a little bit unkempt. Parking is available on the street or in adjacent lots but everything is paid during typical daytime hours from about 8 AM until about 7 PM. The bathrooms do require an access code but are available on site. Personally, I feel like this place had a bit more clout when it first opened before the pandemic. But, it still has some relevance and it's a great spot for a casual meal just because of the variety of options that are available. If you come with a group, everyone can try what they like. Overall, a good showcase of some under the radar food establishments that conglomerate in a fun shared space. Check it out!

It was a let down for now, hopefully the food court people can hire and cook better quality food like before. The lobster mac and cheese and their chili was the most decent thing we tried. My mother ordered the meatloaf and some other pork dish from the hospital room menu and liked it, there was a steak dish she ordered that she sent back.

With the plethora of eats to choose from, a friendly/efficient staff and service, and in or outdoor seating available, Elephants Delicatessen is a spot that's a must visit when you're in this fun city! There are multiple counters for different types of food. There's a sandwich/soup station, a pizza station, a hot foods station (for burgers & specialties), a cold deli station for cold salads/sides, and a bar/barista inside for adult beverages or coffee. Additionally, there's an area to purchase bottled wine and jams/jellies. Grab whatever items you order and pay at the register. If you order from a station, bring your ticket with you as that's where you get charged. Pretty much any type of deli flavor you're looking for, you can find it here. Some of my favorites involve the following: -Teriyaki Chicken Wings -Curried Chickpea Salad -Reuben Sandwich -Tomato Bisque -Corn & Crab Chowder -Broccoli Salad -Turkey and Avocado Sandwich -Pizza Slices (All of them!) They also seem to enjoy cramming mock meat into every dish imaginable. It ranges from logical (tofu in a Chinese dish) to bizarre (tofu in Indian food, the cuisine I count on to be pretty soy-free). On the plus side, the grill will make a wide variety of things to order: ie, only a basic quesadilla is listed on their menu, but they'll put anything they have on hand in there for you, like chicken strips, tomatoes, spinach, onions, french fries, etc. They also make a pretty good over-easy egg. If you, for some reason, must eat here, try the macaroni and cheese (every Monday night, hopefully still the schedule this year), beans and rice with a generous sprinkling of the hot sauce of your choice, or customizing something at the grill. I also hear that the hot turkey sandwich (lunch only) is also excellent. I'd avoid the soups, most of the nightly specials, and anything over-represented on the Scrounge table (a place to put food that you don't want to eat, so that people without a board plan can eat for free). I ordered the Danish pancakes (Æbleskiver), and they were absolutely delicious. They came with house-made lemon curd and lingonberry jam, and both were incredible. The lemon curd was rich and creamy with just the right amount of tartness, while the lingonberry jam added a sweet-tart flavor that paired perfectly with the fluffy pancakes. Four of them were more than enough to fill me up. My husband ordered the Pytt i Panna, a traditional Swedish hash made with crispy potatoes, bell peppers, and onions, topped with two soft-baked eggs and served with pickled beets and Nordic rye toast. It was hearty, comforting, and full of flavor. The pickled beets were a nice contrast to the savory hash, and everything on the plate was scrumptious! Between the delicious food, welcoming service, and dog-friendly patio, we had a very nice time and it was a good send-off before our walk through the woods to find Ole Bolle. The lefse breakfast was really interesting - a layered thicker 'crepe' with cheese and egg. The fish plate was our family favorite - an epic collection of shrimp, mini shrimps, gravlax, pickled herring (our favorite) various breads, crackers and sauces. Very well presented, fun to eat, and enough to share. We also ordered the Swedish meatballs - rich hearty but small and few (5 total). Luckily, we had plenty of other food and this dish was great with sherry mushroom sauce and a delicious potato latke-like side. Our server was also incredibly personable, friendly, and helpful in our food choices which we always appreciate.
