Not only is the coffee shop portion cool, but they have a Vs. Excitebike video game there. I grew up in a small town that got an arcade when I was in seventh grade. Every day, I had to kill two hours after the bus dropped me off before my mom got off work to take me home (or I could have walked the five miles uphill to the house.) Over time, I became a Vs. Excitebike master. One quarter could easily last 45 minutes. In the annual Guinness Book of World Records, my scores were 25-30% higher than what they had listed in the book. Long story short, I was exited when I saw the Vs. Excitebike video game in the corner. The young lady working the counter was really friendly. She admitted to knowing nothing about scooters or motorcycles, but there are people like that out there in the world and I strongly believe that they should be given a fair shake if they are kind. read more

The aji sauce used to be tangy and actually MADE the burrito even better. But even then, it was a 10/10 burrito. This new burrito is so dry; the beans add...nothing. The egg stick is odd and unappetizing. The salsa - sigh - the salsa is just red salsa. Good, but nothing special. I'm feeling like at a $1 more, the burrito should have gone up in quality, and I'm sad to report it's gone down. Not even like 9/10 down, but like 5/10 down. I am asking, NO - begging - for you to bring back the old burrito with the aji sauce. It was unreal. Everyone at work would talk about that sauce constantly. Half of the space is a shop where you can buy clothing items, helmets, and other items like mugs, and the other half is where you can get your coffee. The decor here is so cool, there's a wall filled with different helmets. I'm not even a motorcyclist but still appreciated the decor and style. I got a simple latte and it was good. First off, I am not a coffee drinker. So I'll give you one guess as to what made me go in here. Go ahead, you know...... motorcycles. And the line of helmets I saw from outside the place. Interesting concept, I will give it that. Mostly, they have "retro" style clothing and goggles and they even carry parts and oil. You can also order parts for your bikes because they have the catalogs for Drag Specialties for many types of motorcycles. Harleys, Indians, Triumphs, Japanese bikes, and older bikes. There is no service area but they can make some good recommendations on places you can go in the area to service your bike if you are in need of it. I did like some of the clothing they had, The older style helmets were pretty cool, but I could never wear them, and in a pinch I can pick up a quart of oil if I am in need of it, See See is walking distance from my place. I came by in the latter part of the day to check out See See's at the recommendation of my fellow work colleague whom we both share a passion for motorcycles. It is in a residential area so street parking is available and if you ride a bike well parking is less of a concern. The side entrance is to see see's gift shop, here is where you find clothing, and motorcycle gear for sale. Well decorated it's worth taking a look. The other side is the actual coffee shop. You'll see bikes you can't miss, and a wall of helmets artistically placed. The coffee was pretty good, it came out fast and was good. There really wasn't anything special aside from the ambience. This place is pretty badass. We came in pretty early after seeing the sign from our trip to Voodoo Doughnuts and though we had already eaten, had to stop in anyways. We came in pretty early (being tourists and on a different time schedule) and sadly we missed the merch shop but picked up a few souvenirs that were displayed as you wait in line. We ordered a couple of drinks and chatted with the baristas as they made our order. My boyfriend was in heaven looking at all the motorcycle stuff displayed around the cafe. It's got a real cool concept and looks like they host a lot of events for riders. I wish the merch shop was open when we came in so we could have gotten some other stuff but I don't think it opens until 10:00 am (at least when we there). We hoped to come back but didn't make it so we will have to stop in on our next trip to Portland. Not only is there merch, awesome decor, great coffees, there's also some pretty good food items on the menu. This place is defiantly a winner in my book. A staff member complained loudly for all to hear that she can't stand regulars who don't tip. Classy. A few customers were shaking their heads. It concerned a customer who ordered two coffees to go. First, what exactly are we tipping for as we stand in line and retrieve our own orders, and especially for take out? This entitlement tipping culture is way out of hand, bussing your own stuff is the norm. Heck, why don't you just include some Dawn dish soap and gloves with my order. I'm so glad that a number of establishments are doing away with it. Yes, I rather pay more. While this employee believes that people "just don't get it", maybe it's people like her who don't. Where can you find cool motorcycle helmets and a motorcycle store with a fantastic coffee shop attached? Well ... of course, in Portlandia! But seriously, this place is beyond cool. The first time I came here, I saw that they had used NEST and was one of the first places (commercially) that I had seen someone implement NEST. The coffee shop portion serves some light bites for breakfast, and pastries from Roman Candle. They also have this amazing cold brew from Stumptown that's sure to give you a kick! The walls are lined with old, vintage, and fun motorcycle helmets, as well as local art & crafts making your experience much like sitting at an Art gallery. The other side is a full on motorcycle shop, with a vintage moto on display and many a cool leather jackets and posters etc. In the morning you will see a lot of bikers here.
