Ordered delivery, they quoted an hour but they ended up coming 20 minutes early. The hand cut fries were delicious. I ordered the Turkey BLT and didn't care for the turkey. I pulled it off and just ate the BLT portion. Would order from Roger's again, just not the Turkey BLT. read more

We ordered the chicken salad(which had 2 full breast on it) and full size Roger's pizza special(basically everything other than the kitchen sink). Both were very good. The pizza actually reminded me of my mother's handmade pizza crust. The reason for 3 stars is that we didn't see our staff after they served us. We wanted another round of drinks and no one came around. This was 2pm+ not very busy. Yes they had takeout, but still. Met some friend's at Rogers's today. We put together 2 large tables. The waitress was very friendly, gracious and accommodating. We were there for 3 hours and she didn't bat an eyelash. It was so cozy and comfortable there and the food is fabulous. I posted pics in the photo section starting with the onion rings and ending with the woman who came over as she was leaving and told us we were talking loud. Never eaten anything from here, wanted/craving eggplant parmesan. Ordered that and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were amazing. The eggplant parm tasted like old fryer oil which was kinda disappointing. May try pizza another time. read more

Went for lunch today, (I usually get take-out), and waited 15 minutes just for waitress to take our drink order then left b4 we cld order our meals. Eventually, after 25 minutes our order was taken. Asked for a drink refill -but only got it after I finally got the bill! Waitress never even acknowledged the fact that I'd already asked for a refill 2x before! Wow! That is all I have to say about Roger's! The food was fantastic! I had the BBQ pulled pork nachos, and the party I was with had the veggie supreme pizza. Both were simply amazing. I was pleasantly surprised because I have lived in the area my whole life but never ventured in because on the outside it doesn't look like much. I will definitely be a return customer, for dining in and takeout. I prefer to go to these places rather than chain restaurants any day. I'm just sad I didn't try Roger's earlier! read more

I went in yesterday with some family, and got a great tasting Chicken Taco Pizza, and Mexican style potato skins. They are very generous with their servings, and toppings. I've been going here for as long as I can remember with my family. It's not glamorous, or fancy, but it's a friendly restaurant that excels at the type of food they serve. Rogers has been a staple in Dover for years, and even after changing owners, has remained as good as ever. Their food is always great, eating in or take out. The service has gotten better in the last few years, even when they are extremely busy. The chili and chicken pot pie are two of the greatest things on the menu, but pizza is always a good choice. We came here during one of the ice storms this winter, and even though they had no power, and they were one of the only places open, the food and service was still great! There was little to no steak in it. The little bit of steak that was in it was awful. It's almost like they ran out of steak so they just tried to fill out the sub with what the had. I'm visiting Dover for the third time and decided to give Roger's a try. I like the environment. It's a cozy family friendly restaurant and the wait staff is very attentive. We ordered a large meat lovers for 3 adults. When the pizza arrived, we were not disappointed. It's loaded! and they did not skimp on the bacon. This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Italian and steak subs were good. The cheese pizza was NOT greasy, the sauce was nicely spiced and could taste the oregano, thick crust with a great crunch on the ends. Very good! The onion rings were perfect. As far as service, she was incredibly nice, efficient, attentive and I wonder how she does everything she was doing for consistently getting more and more busy all by herself. She's got a phenomenal memory! She took a detailed order from a table of 5 high maintenance customers without writing anything down and continued to do other things before entering everything into the computer. Susan is right about their food being very good. I'm not as much a fan of the Pizza (La Festa down the road is much better) but they have great baked potatoes and a pretty diverse menu. Service isn't exactly great, but we've never had any major issues with it. Don't expect to be wowed by the service, but just kick back and enjoy the food. read more

Went here last night for the first time after hearing awesome things. Walking in they have three different seating places upstairs, downstairs, and right where you walk in. The menu was massive if you are not a pizza lover with choices like Mexican food, Italian, dinner plates, and a very decent alcohol selection. The service was good and everything came out within a reasonable time frame. I got the steak tip dinner with fries and a vegetable. Steak was good to my liking and had a lot flavor. My Fiancé got a white pizza which was better than most places because they pack the pizza with flavor to substitute the sauce. Great place for picky eaters and pizza lovers. read more

If i could give zero stars I would. By far the WORST experience at a "bar" we've ever had. We are regulars at other established bars in town but wanted to try the "new bar" for a change. When we sat down, there were 2 already clearly intoxicated women at the bar, by the time we got our food (and flies...) 30 minutes later, the women were still being served drinks and now yelling. When the bartender finally told the women it was time to go home, they started swearing at other people in the bar and stumbling around (then drove home). We asked our waitress if it was always like this and she confirmed that it was. Other patrons then told us we needed to "relax- it was a bar" and to "shut the F*** up". When the waitress finally brought the manager down, she asked what the problem was and asked what we wanted her to do about it- "its a bar" and "it gets loud" I asked if patrons were normally sworn at and she again said "i dont know what you want me to do about it- is that all thats wrong?" The most expensive pizza in New England. That doesn't make it the best though. Their pizza is okay. It's not my favorite type of dough. I prefer a softer and chewy crust. The crust here is the dry and crumbly type. We're have never gone here for anything but pizza, they do have a menu the includes taco's and salads and such. My wife grew up with Roger's as her family's go to pizza place. It's not possible to keep that tradition going though. Most of their family size pizzas are way too expensive. A family could eat for less money at Disney World or a movie theater. One of Roger's pizza's is $23 for a large. To me that's just insane. In the end, if you're looking to get a pizza or two, go someplace else. It's just too expensive to get pizza here. The pizza isn't so amazingly awesome that it's worth the price tag. read more

Paid more than $25.00 for a single "house pizza" (not a X-Large). It was served with pepperoni clumped in stacks rather than taking the time to spread it around. Terrible service worst I've ever had. The waitress were all talking and our waitress dropped a guys food on the floor, didn't take a tables order and they left and took our order of beer and a house special pizza at 7:20 at 8:25 I told my husband she probably didn't put our order in. In a few min the waitress comes over to say "she is sorry it's taking so long that she couldn't figure it out then she remembered she forgot to put in our order what was it that you ordered?" I was disgusted the 3 waitresses stood there talking instead of tending the 4 tables in the whole place really. If you are going to have higher prices then most delivery places you should at least make sure that your food is worth the money. My wife ordered a medium well steak tip sub, which was not edible. The outside of the steak tips was charred and the inside was rare. Needless to say she ended up having to throw it out. My pictures are uploaded. I really liked Roger's the first time I went. Their house steak tip salad was pretty good. I convinced my husband to order from them a few times, and each time was a little more disappointing. Not terrible, the food is fine, but when ordering takeout or delivery, they tend to forget small things. Nothing huge, but when you say "no radishes on my salad but please add jalapeño pepper" and three times in a row they either forget or ignore that request, it starts to get annoying. Also, some of the other dishes don't seem worth the cost. For example, the quesadilla. It's priced like an entree, but is appetizer size. It's not that I won't go back, but I just wish they took a little mor care/effort in getting the order right. We're more likely to go elsewhere for that reason alone. read more

Truly best we have had in a long time , which is sad because we have lived here in area for 5 years and have never tried Roger's ....five years wasted is what we said as we were driving home ( in a car smelling delicious due to left overs ) . Noticed this place was down the street from our hotel. After attending a hockey game at UNH we were in the mood for pizza and this was the perfect choice. Our server was amazingly attentive and friendly. Menu offers tons of selections from pizza to sandwiches to tacos, if you can't find something to like there is no pleasing you. Pizza was amazing, crisp crust with perfect toppings. If you are local you are lucky, we are from NJ but I swear we would drive the 7 hours for that pizza again. read more

Just got a burger and fries. Arrived, place smelt great. Was informed that my food would be ready in a few minutes. Picked up and drove literally down the road to my house. Burger tasted Iike old meat (I was a meat cutter for years so I know my red meat) and was really bland. Fries probably would have been good but they where cold. Really sad about this experience. This area is full of chains I.e. Applebee's Chillies and Pub 99 so I was stoked about a mom and pop restaurant for take out but this really turned me off. Won't be going back read more

My girlfriend and I decided to give this place a try. We both got buffalo chicken subs and an appetizer platter and had it delivered. Big mistake. The sandwiches arrived and the subs were soggy. The vegetables looked old and the chicken was cooked to hell. We were too hungry and both ate about half of our sandwiches and had to throw them away. Roger's has some of the best pizza on the East coast! It's really good and so are all of their salads and apps and beers. They have a jukebox and it is set up just like a pizza parlor should be. Very disappointed - placed an order for delivery, it didn't arrive when they said it would, in fact when I rang to find out when it would arrive they hadn't even started the order. They offered a discount on the service since it was delivered over an HOUR late and we would have been okay with that, but when we finally got the order, it was missing an order of wings (which they charged us for) and we were given the wrong type of pizza. I called the restaurant to talk to the owner and left a message with the staff asking him for a courtesy call back, also emailed the restaurant and heard nothing.
