This place held a premier party for buell. It was really awesome to look around this place and check it out. Their mechanic shop is beautiful and makes me envious. You can definitely tell they take pride in their builds and their work.

A linchpin of Southern California motorcycle history. Amazing supple leather products. If you love motorsport, you must visit here. It is an epic journey through drag & track focused custom builds starting in the 70s all the way up to today. Staff are super friendly, design is amazing and the location is very low-key and chill.

Stopped in with the family this morning. Wasn't sure what to expect. Greeted by Michael when we walked in. Michael made our family feel at home. Offered my wife coffee, talked with my son about hockey. Toured the shop. Was in ahh of the custom bikes and craftsman ship. Then, back down stairs to try on clothing. Great selection of new designs not shown on the website. Michael was kind to advise on sizing and fit as well as deals and sales. What a great experience. I have not been to a custom bike shop that has such an inviting, yet cool atmosphere. Thanks Roland Sands! Thanks Michael. If your a motorcycle enthusiast and in the area or up for a drive I would highly recommend stopping into Roland Sands.

Even the display racks were cool!

Roland Sands Design ( to me ) is one of the coolest brands / builders in the motorcycle business. Having the " too cool " attitude is almost what I expected I visited here... I was pleasantly surprised that I got the complete opposite experience. My GPS directions brought me to the back of the shop, so I called to see where I was supposed to enter the store. I was greeted and showed through the service area ... got to peak at their show / race bikes ( so cool !!! ). The showroom was very neat and organized... so much cool stuff to see in a small space. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jay ( I believe, I'm horrible w names ) ... such a great experience overall. I bought a sweet t-shirt to remember this great experience by! Great job guys !

All I can say is, "Wow!". And not for the reasons you'd expect. I was in town on business and got off early. I decided to pick up my little 10 year old nephew. We went out for ice cream and I had the idea of visiting RSD with him - realizing it was only 25 minutes away. A great little retail store with a ton of eye candy for a motorcycle nut. I expected to be wow'd by the bikes, parts and all the cool apparel. However, the staff is what truly exceeded my expectations. Megan came out and handed me and my nephew some small items for visiting. This was a great! I am not sure who was more excited, me or my nephew! Not long after, Megan reemerged from the back and asked if we would like to see the workshop. Of course we immediately jumped on the opportunity! Megan and the team showed us many of the custom bikes, both RSD's and some customer's rides, including a BMW they're starting to work on for the lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers! We also enjoyed taking a close look at the flat track hooligan bikes - I've seen these bikes race in Oregon and they're a lot of fun. But is doesn't end there. Megan then paraded out Cameron, a hooligan racer for the RSD team! Cameron talked about the bikes, racing and even acted interested in my anecdotes - a real class act. We left the workshop, I purchased a shirt and we thanked the staff for their hospitality. The shop and showroom were amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I will be back, I will go out of my way to support their racing, and I will encourage people to visit and support RSD. Thank you!

They have kept me rolling safe through Long Beach with their excellent tune‑ups, thoughtful service, and genuine kindness. As my dog aged past 15, it became harder to get him in the bike basket, I locked outdoors and it started to look a little rough and sounded squeaky. After my sweet dog Sid passed, I ended up in an accident I caused myself. It damaged my shifter and bent my fender into the wheel. It had some other damage too. The helmet I bought at The Bicycle Stand literally saved my head. That helmet cracked during the fall, but I didn't. Yay. I am emotionally attached to my bike and I didn't want to give up on it, so I brought it in. Tony (from Boston), the crew and the owners, Evan and Nicole, treated me with so much care, even when I was feeling especially embarrassed. They restored my bike so it rides as smooth as the day I bought it. The team does an excellent job and they are always on point. Their helmets have always been top quality. I feel safe every time I purchase essential gear from them. Getting back on my bike with my new helmet feels amazing. I cannot recommend The Bicycle Stand enough. Their craftsmanship, kindness, and long‑term commitment to their customers are unmatched. Thank you to the whole team for 14+ years of keeping me safe, supported, and rolling strong. They deserve 100 stars.

The listing described it as "A-" condition with only minor scuffs and a new brake cable. After he rode the bike his friend's father told him to pass on that the bike had an issue, I then fully inspected the bike and discovered the front fork/headset had significant lateral play and could visibly shift when the bike was stationary. Taking it apart, I found electrical tape had been wrapped under the top cap to act as a spacer, allowing the bolt to tighten fully while the headset itself stayed loose. The proper aluminum spacers were missing entirely. They costed us under $10 shipped for the aluminum spacers. This is a real safety issue, not a cosmetic one as a loose headset will cause premature wear and can be dangerous. We fixed it ourselves with parts from Amazon and a YouTube tutorial, so we weren't looking for a refund. I emailed the shop (addressed to Jon) explaining what we found, purely so they could catch this during inspection on future used bikes. I never received a response, and the original listing was quietly taken down shortly after. I want to be fair: many people clearly have great experiences with this shop, and I'm not saying this was intentional. But a safety issue like this should have been caught in a basic pre-sale check, and an unanswered email about a safety concern is disappointing from a shop with this kind of reputation. If you're buying a used bike here, I'd recommend inspecting the bike fully yourself before riding it. I didn't take pictures as I honestly didn't know what I was looking at. Also didn't realize that it was just black electrical tape at first.
