Uber eats had a buy one get one free bean burrito so I used that deal to get bean and cheese burritos! My order was ready super fast. The tortilla was perfectly crisp which was awesome. Usually when places have a salsa bar they'll give you a couple tiny things of salsa, but they don't give me any which was disappointing. The burrito had way way too much cheese on it and I had to take a bunch off, and I like cheese. The cheese also tasted a little odd? If I were to order again I'd probably just get beans and potatoes and no cheese. Affordable meal though and not terrible! read more

In town for business and decided to try this restaurant based on the yelp reviews. The food I ordered was okay. Had the chips and pico along with the chicken fajitas. The chips were decent. I went up to the salsa bar and got two different types of salsa. Both had a good flavor. The chicken fajitas were 97% chicken and 3% green peppers and onions. The dinner came with one giagantic fajitas shell. The shell was not that good. The order time was average. The restaurant was clean. Overall, just okay. read more

It's been tough finding a good taco shop in Phoenix, expecially when you're coming from SoCal...Roliberto's was pretty good and the service was both friendly and accommodating. While we came for breakfast and ordered non-breakfast items it was really nice that they cooked everything fresh on the grill..Sometimes I worry that some taco shops just heat up the leftovers from the previous day. A little hole in the wall where you can dine in or do takeout. I ordered a bacon/egg breakfast burrito and it is a decent size. The burrito was delicious with a generous serving of both bacon and eggs. They have a little salsa cart there with limited choices for salsa. Used to be my favorite, but not anymore I used to love getting a chorizo breakfast burrito from here, but in the past few years, the quality has really declined. The amount of chorizo has dropped significantly -- it feels like 80% less than what it used to be, to the point where it's barely noticeable. It's disappointing because that was always the highlight of the burrito. Even worse, I've noticed more attention to detail is lacking. On several occasions, I've found eggshells still in my burrito, which just shows a lack of care in preparation. It's really unfortunate because this place used to be a go-to for a great breakfast, but now I'm not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

I found the cashier very friendly and pleasant. Food was prepared quickly and efficiently. My dining experience was a bit unpleasant due to a woman sitting in a booth in the middle of the restaurant basically shouting to another patron about her beliefs regarding the Bible and how disgusting gay people are. I don't care to comment beyond I wish there had been an environment where a person could eat in peace without someone being very loud and going on at length with what could be easily described as hate speech. I got a combo with a taco and enchilada. I wish I'd specified ground beef, as I ended up with shredded, which I typically don't care for. To me shredded beef requires barbecue sauce. Ground beef begs for cumin, onion, and a friendly taco shell. Sauce on enchilada was a little off putting, not sure why. Salsa that was available was not comparable to the vegetable and tomato based that I'm accustomed to. Beans and rice were ok. I decided to get a side of chips. Was kind of shocked it was $4 for a small clamshell of tortilla chips. Got a taco to go and it was just over a dollar. My combo was $11 which I'd be ok with if I'd liked the enchilada sauce and the taco had contents I liked. I might return but it wouldn't be my first pick. I thought this was the taco place near cheeseheads I went to the other day, all I know is it ends in o as well like many of the hole in the wall fast casual Mexican places around here, and THAT chain is by far the best of the bunch in my book. read more

This review is tough. The rating is an average of two visits. The first visit was on a Thursday night. We ordered two of their El Bandido burrito and a few of their crunchy tacos. We tried their shredded beef and ground beef fried tacos and the El Bandido was a carne asada burrito with a Chile Relleno inside. Their ground beef tasted good. Their shredded beef was bland. Their carne asada meat was flavorful. Overall, the food was good. They have a small but adequate salsa bar complete with pickled jalapeno and carrots. This meal was between 4-5 stars. Then, I took my son on a Wednesday and ordered their burrito supreme Wednesday special. I was told the burrito supreme came with shredded beef or you can upgrade for carne asada. As the shredded beef was bland the other night, I upgraded to the carne asada meat. This meal was a 2-3 stars. The carne asada meat was old and did not have the carne asada flavor. It was pretty bland. More importantly, the meat tasted old. I was wondering what was taking them so long and why I was not hearing the sizzling sounds of meat. It looked like they were reheating already cooked meat. The meat just did not taste fresh or good. The enchilada sauce the burrito was smothered in was also very chipotle-esq but without much umami depth of flavor. The sauce was also pretty bland and had a singular note - chipotle-esq. I would have preferred the burrito without the smother. My son and I ended up throwing most of it away. We just ate enough to not feel hungry and discarded the rest. I will try them 2 more times. I will try their Chimichanga and their Tue/Wed fried taco special. However, I will watch for the taste of old meat and if I experience it again, I will drop my rating. read more

The food is always amazing. Its always fresh, the place is always clean and more than 70% of the time they are extremely busy. The staff is down to earth, outgoing and kind. Smiles all around all the time, I definitely recommend this place, the horchata is amazing, as well as their chimichanga. If you like spicy i suggest you try the burrito with the poblano in it. Consistently great! I've only ever had their breakfast burritos which are great but we finally decided to try lunch here. I had the Cali burrito, comes with avocado, potatoes, & pico, with shredded beef. It's overstuffed, very flavorful meat, and the green salsa they make is as fresh as it gets. My husband had the asada burrito the meat was tender and juicy. The tortillas taste homemade which makes it even better. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating to any requests. Had to find a new taco shop since ours kept messing up so we came here. First off you walk in to a very clean shop. All protocols for covid in place. Ok we'll start with the tacos...taco Tue so they're only $1.39 each. Ground beef was kinda tasteless but edible. Shredded beef was much better. Crisp shells decent amount of meat. I could of used a little more lettuce. The beans were a little watery and gritty but still tasty the rice was perfect and fluffy. The carne fries and burritos were tasty. Meat was soft. Portion sizes were good also. With the combos you get a free drink. I also saved a dollar on the fries from the check in on yelp. The green salsa was not to spicy and the red had a little kick to it. Over all we will be back to try the many specials they have. read more

The table under the tv near the door is an electrical hazard with all the electrical cords plugged into a 6 way multi outlet just above your head. That should all be done per phoenix electrical code instead of the way it is right now. The table was dirty from the people who sat there before me. They were slow so they should've had all the tables clean imo. Prices are to high. read more

I came in here unsure of what the quality would be. After scanning the menu of reasonably priced items, I decided to get the 3 roll tacos with guacamole. The roll tacos were made to order and the guacamole tasted fresh. They also had a side condiments near the register so you can pick your favorite sides for your meal. Good strip mall Mexican Food. I like the classic combos, my favorite is the #1 which is a beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. The Jamaica or the Pina to drink, both delicious. TV up on the wall, booth seats, small salsa bar with salsas, cucumbers, hot carrots and onions, and limes. My only gripe is it's just under 12 bucks for a combo and a drink, a little heavy on the wallet for a lunch. Also like all of these places, they ask for a tip on the credit card slip which is annoying and a pet peave of mine. But this place is definitely on my radar for lunch. read more
