I bought a Groupon and my husband, my mother and father in law took a date night out to the Nampa Rollerdome. I had called to see if there was anything particular that I needed to do for their Groupon, so I called and I got a lady who was Rude on the Phone and talked to me like I was asking a stupid question. (What are the skating times? Should I print it for you guys or is it in my phone enough? is there and age limit?) She kind of snickered at all of the question, we had never been there so I thought that they were good questions to be asking. I was a little annoyed and didn't even want to go. We got there and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the window and greet us, I showed them the Groupon I had printed out, and it took another 5 minutes for him to look it up, I don't know what he was doing. Once we finally got inside we got our skates and skated around. We had not eaten so we went to the concessions and were planning on purchasing a snack. We waited for another 10 minutes to be served, and then 30 minutes to be served our chicken strips and fries. While we were sitting there one of the boys that worked there looked at us and said "excuse me?! It you look to your left there is a sign that says you can only sit at this table for 15 minutes... and you have been there for much longer I'm going to have to ask you to move!" (We haven't gotten our food yet) I was Shocked! My husband looked at the Kid (15 years of age or so) and was like you have got to be kidding me right?! We haven't gotten our food. We get the kid was trying to be funny but the way that he approached us was condescending and rude. He had NO way of us know he was being sarcastic he looked like he was being totally serious. FINALLY WE GOT OUR FOOD IT WAS BURNT! THE LADY THAT SERVED US THE FOOD THREW IT DOWN IN FRONT OF US AND SAID THERE IS RANCH AND MUSTARD ON THE COUNTER! I was furious at that point. We ate our food and went back out on the skating floor. There the kids in the "backyard skates" the plastic ones that your put your shoes in. There were multiple kids in these stakes RUNNING IN THEM, CRASHING ON THE FLOOR, making it hard to talk to one another on the floor. As well as people with their babies in STROLLERS on the SKATING FLOOR! I haven't ever seen that before! It was hard to skate around them and they would block traffic making it so that we had to skate through the middle of the rink. THE WORST EXPERINCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD AT A SKATING RINK. IT'S SAD THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES LEFT IN THE TREASURE VALLEY! I DONT RECOMMEND IT. I DON'T KNOW IT THEY WERE HAVING A BAD DAY OR WHAT BUT THEY LEFT A BAD TASTE, AND THERE IS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

This place is one of my favorite places to go. I am a regular here. I have a problem with the no water bottle rule. I am bigger person and I need water to be able to function. It's 2$ for a water bottle and I don't wanna have to pay 20+ dollars for multiple water when I can bring my own. I know people will try to bring in other substances. An idea for this would be if i can bring a empty water bottle in and fill it with the water for here for like 5$ or something, so then you guys can know what is in my water bottle and i'm not trying to bring in something that's not water. I have a medical condition also and water helps. Should I bring in a doctors note for this? Would that change anything? I will do this if necessary. Response I am over 6ft with skates on and it is hard to bend over. I have back issues, i would like to speak with you in person, i've talked to "the other owner" and he said there was no problems. We had my daughters birthday party here a few days ago, i must have put in the wrong time online. I started to panic because guest were about to arrive. The manager must have heard me talking to my sister. She pulled me aside and literally fixed everything right then and there. I forgot her name but she immediately took it in her hands and fixed it. When we got into the room our host were AMAZING! I obviously cant hide my facial expressions and i looked overwhelmed. Theynmade sure everything was set up and helped me clean up without feeling rushed. Hands down best hostess. The only thing i can think is maybe having something for new skaters to hold onto to skate. Other than that they were awesome. read more

My family is from Boise, so we don't typically come out this far and stay closer to Boise's rink but we were out with a friend this last weekend from Nampa so we swung by the RollerDrome for convenience sake...Never Again! There is a huge bump in the floor, smells moldy, the whole building is pretty run down needless to say...Staff dont seem to pay attention to what's going on on the rink, kids were zipping around and a few made my daughter fall, no employees even asked if she was okay. The place would be nicer if they administered some MUCH needed repairs, but it just feels junky and gross. So much for family-friendly! We'll be staying with Boise's rink, at least I know my kids are safe there. read more

Not a very good place to skate if you're looking for safety and an all-around good time. Floor is very beat up, lots of scratches, gouges and an actual huge speed bump on one side of the floor that will make you lose your balance when skating over it. No floor guard to make sure the regular kids (including the kids I assume to be speed skaters) isn't zipping around and making other patrons fall. The staff wasn't very accomodating or cheerful, the whole place feels very dark and oppressive, it's dirty and smells pretty rank. The kids had an alright time, as we came for a birthday party but I think we will be sticking to the rink on State Street. read more

I live out of state and when visiting my Grandchildren I took them roller skating for the first time at The Roller Dome. The Roller Dome makes it easy and affordable living out of state for me to purchase the Birthday party package or gift certificates for my grandchildren. We just did are second birthday party package celebrating my granddaughters ninth birthday. All of the kids had a wonderful time and my daughter was so delighted with the wonderful staff. We have never been out to Nampa's Rollerdrome so we gave it a visit this weekend and had a great time with the whole family. Truly a family friendly establishment that prioritizes the safety of customers and doesn't cut any corners for money. Plus, the nostalgia hits you from the moment you walk in, even has a beautiful, original hardwood floor. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough for this gem set in the heart of Downtown Nampa. Nothing better than getting to relive the good ol' days with your family and not break the bank to do it. Great fun for everyone! read more

The staff was friendly and informative. The place was clean, fun and organized. We had a birthday party there and it was well organized as well. We tried to book a party at the new rink in Boise, Treasure Valley Skate, which turned out to be a total joke. Very unprofessional and frankly a huge waste of time. My daughter had her 80's theme 10 th birthday party at the Rollerdrome and it was the best party ever! Tony took care of everything in the party room from start to finish and made sure all the kids got pizza and cake, as well as soda and water... and got them all together for a group photo. Roller skating was a perfect way to keep all the kids out there getting exercise and having fun! Super easy for me, allowing me to enjoy the day. Thanks so much! read more

We had a major dance planned and at the last minute those plans fell through. We scrambled to find another facility that would meet our needs and the Rollerdrome was it. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. This facility is already set up to meet the needs of a "dance"...they have a huge floor, lighting options, speakers everywhere, and an onsite DJ. The evening turned out fantastic! Experience was great, we scheduled a private weekend party to surprise my wife and 20 of her friends with 2 hour skating session. They had a DJ playing, snack bar open, and staff on site for games to play like limbo. So much fun and would recommend to anyone that wants to have an intimate party or even book to skate together without the hassle of people you don't know skating around you. read more

We booked a birthday party and had a great time. They were super busy and way understaffed so we had to wait a long time for skates and snacks. That was the only bummer. But the staff they did have were working their butts off and were so super friendly! The party host knew what she was doing and ran that part really well! I scheduled a part package for a Saturday. Arrived about 15 minutes early to let them know we were there. They were organized and ready for our party. The service we received in the party room was amazing. She made it fun for the birthday girl and her guests. The announcer was fun and funny but serious when he needed to be. We had my daughter's surprise birthday party here and the whole experience was amazing. We rented out the whole rink which was the same cost as having 10 kids at one of the other party places. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure that our experience was positive and simple for us. Definitely would recommend hosting an event or party here. read more

I rented Rollerdrome out for my 40th birthday party. There was a varying age of guests. Every single person LOVED it!! The kids (who never have roller-skated) had a blast and the older guests felt like we had stepped back in time. They were great to work with and I have the guests who were there ask me all the time when we are going to do it again. read more

The Nampa Rollerdrome is a great place for a birthday party and to get out of the house for a few hours. My daughter said that this was by far her favorite birthday party she's had and all of her friends had blast too! The rollerdrome has a great atmosphere that is sure to make anyone feel like a kid again! They also make great Italian sodas! read more

I took my grand daughter last Wednesday afternoon. She was scared about getting out on the floor. One of the women that worked there noticed my grand daughter and offed to help. She was so helpful. She got her out on the floor and stayed with here all the way around. Great experience! read more

Amazing place! only one thing though. There is an awful worker who makes me very uncomfortable. This worker stares at girls butts and i have had people tell me he has done it to me and seen it! He's one of the older looking guys and wears a Nampa rollerdrome crew neck. read more

We booked this for a Sunday morning for part of our family Christmas party and it was so much fun! The staff was very attentive to our needs and very friendly. They helped out littles with their skates and showed them how they work. Would definitely do this again. read more
