Brisket, ribs and pulled pork were incredible. BBQ sauces were great. Only one I didn't try was the most firey because I know better. Loved the fountain lemonade. Manager gave us a complimentary peach cobbler and banana pudding. I give them 5 honest stars on every item we ordered including coleslaw, brisket baked beans and corn bread. To add I don't think it's appropriate for employees to have their own food on the front line eating while preparing food for public consumption. I feel this place has fallen and for now I'll take a break and possibly think twice before ever coming here again. Between the lack of food, the quality of what food they serve, and the manner at which they causally eat while serving others forces me to eat elsewhere. If this continues I doubt they'll be in business for long. Let a health inspection catch them eating and see where that goes. Sorry but this place is a mess.

Turns out several hours later I was sick for 3 days with severe diarrhea and almost to the point where I had to go to the emergency room and I'm sure they would have admitted me to the hospital I sent a message to the ownership and they apologize for me getting sick and volunteered to return my money and here it is mid-june and I haven't received a dime back from them and a total came out to less than $20 and I have a copy of the receipt and I also got a message from them telling me that they couldn't match the name up well my wife had paid with her debit card and therefore the names didn't match but that should have made any difference because I gave him the exact time and what we had and the exact dollar amount and no response for over 6 weeks now and I think they've had enough time to save up the money to pay me back for the lousy food that they served me obviously was tainted with some kind of bacteria or some other disease and I'd really like to get my money back. While I was sitting and eating the owner came up to me to tell me to come back tomorrow (Friday) because he was grilling ribs on the massive grill in the side yard. I told him I was sorry but I was not in town the next day but would come when he was grilling again. He told me he grilled every Friday and I was welcome to come and eat and hang out. I told him it was a date for the future. Since then COVID has infected our world and the restaurant has temp closed. As soon as they are up and running, I will make that grill Friday!
