It's been on the "must go" list for a while but I finally had a chance to visit it on a beautiful mid-February day today. It sure was worth the drive and time all the way from the south Denver. The moment I stepped inside, the warm welcoming atmosphere was sensed. As soon as the lady upfront greeted me cordially, I felt more comfortable and relaxed. The instantaneous gratification hit me where I almost uttered "I am glad that I took the time to come here!" I wanted to peruse the menu. To my "Give me a moment" statement, the kind lady said "Of course, take your time. We also have a Valentine's Day special drink right here!". It was a white chocolate based mocha which sounded quite sweet so I asked her if it was sweet to which she said "It's very sweet but we can always adjust it to half the syrup!" All kinds of considerate words were made in each of her reply. I decided to go simple today; I went with the drip coffee which comes with unlimited free refills. The lady gave me one of the cups and told me where the pot that contained the drip was located. Alongside the pot, there was a super mini refrigerator that contained two jars of cold milk: one is half and half and the other is oat milk. What a kind care the shop does to keep them chilled. The simple drip coffee was just what I needed; it hit the spot. And tasted clean with no burnt notes at all. Quality coffee indeed. As I was immersed in this review writing in the ambient setting, the shop started to fill with guests. Although it's so tucked in this little mountain town, there appear to be "coffee fanatic fans" that know this place. And like me, I assume that many of them are not the local town folk. There is no wonder why they are drawn to it; they know where to find great coffee spots. I loved every single bit of this cozy place. My recommendation is only one of the multitude of others that know this place.

There were folks waiting to be seated before, during and after our meal. They greeted us along with everyone else waiting and managed to get us all seated fairly fast. Orders looks amazing as they were brought out and the buzz of happy customers chatting together filled the air. This place is quite the brunch stop and there is lots to look at, as you wait. They have baked goods, cocktails, nick knacks to take away with you, and a very cool red sofa to settle into, if you need to wait for seating. We saw homemade jams, pickled peppers, and freeze dried candies to temp you. Need something quick to take on your hike - they've got you covered here too. We came in with breakfast on our minds and weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh, made to order and plated really well. Zero complaints. Just wish we lived closer!

They have so many delicious-sounding things on their menu, and we were fortunately just in time for lunch because I was specifically craving their BLTA. SO good!! My second option would have been their Italian Sandwich. My friend didn't enjoy the soup or sandwich he got, which is a bummer. I'd come back again, though. They also sell baked goods, and I was tempted to get some before leaving. Next time! According to other Yelpers, their Grilled Cheese is amazing so I'm adding that to my list of things to try. Parking is never really super challenging in Georgetown (yet) so take advantage and support this local business next time you drive by.

The coffee was smooth, balanced, and well-crafted. The baristas were friendly and welcoming every time we stopped in. With that said, this is simply not a place for a quick "grab and go" occasion only. It may not be super ambient but not a bad place to sit down and relax either. We got a canned sparkling soda, matcha latte, premade sandwich and empanada. A bit pricey though because technically speaking, they are in the mountains so their price ms are somewhat close to what you might see at a typical ski resort nearby. The Blind Burro serves excellent coffee. I had an Americano today, which is probably the best Americano I have ever had. I treated my Uber driver to her request for a vanilla latte and she said it was outstanding. I buy coffee beans, grind them at home and do pour overs and I'm very particular about the coffee I drink. Blind Burro is the best! PS-This location is a "grab and go" and has a drive through although you can step into the shop and order at the counter. Only seating is outside. I go to the Frothy Cup in Idaho Springs when I want to sit a while.
