First off, my car audio junkie of a friend referred me to Neil when he upgraded some speakers for his SUV. Let's just say it was an installation nightmare when the schematics didn't match the actual wiring and none of adapters that were meant for the vehicle matched up. I had Neil and his crew upgrade my audio system. I went from a standard set of 12's and 500 rms + some fills to a dual battery H/O Alt 2200rms set of Custom Tantrics + fills. I brought all my own gear so it was labor only + some custom beauty box work for the 2nd battery and the sealed box. Neil went over the pricing with me and the install questions in PM's for a couple of months before hand. Spent plenty of time answering questions. He's a great guy and I loved the fact he was willing to spend so much time nailing everything down before hand. I had the main amp on a board and they put all the distribution boxes for power and ground and fill amp and wiring on the back side for a super clean install. The 2nd battery went in it's own carpeted beauty box so no ugly battery poking out. I gave them my car for the week and dropped in a couple of times to make sure we were on the same page. If you're not involved in your install don't blame the company if it doesn't turn out right. Neil spent plenty of time going over any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with what he was doing. The work turned out great and his willingness to adjust a couple of things to my satisfaction was super. Turned out one of the subwoofers had mechanical issues so he spent time putting in a new one the vendor dropped off in and charged me a minimal fee. Super happy with the work and the staff great bunch of people including his wife who works just as hard on the business side as they do on installs. I would recommend them to someone without hesitating. I have included a couple of pictures. Places like Rolling Audio make me glad for Yelp. I almost went to "Audio Express" instead, until I read the reviews. Rolling Audio is everything that a small business should be: Smart, helpful, personable, and with amazing customer service. I went in with my wife and daughter, just thinking that we might have them install a stereo we could get elsewhere. They had a nice display case with a few different models which they prefer. The JVC model they showed us had all the features we needed. They were able to answer all the questions we had and were extremely helpful. We scheduled an install which my wife brought the car down for. After the install they took the time to show here how to use the unit, pair her cell phone with the Bluetooth, and test her cell with the new Mic. A couple days later we had an issue with reception on AM stations. I called them up and the owner, Neil, told me to bring it by whenever. I stopped by a couple days later and they very quickly tracked down the problem (a defective antenna adapter) and replaced it in just a few minutes. Went in for a stereo upgrade. The install was neat, BUT, the demo after the install was SO disappointing! I was accustomed to the sound of the original 8-Speaker Bose Surround Sound System in my MB Roadster so when I heard the demo, it sounded like an AM Transistor Radio. The installer knew I wasn't happy. He adjusted the sound for appeasement while explaining why the AMP was bypassed because they couldn't make it work with the system. I got another opinion from another audio shop/professional who said that he would order the part needed to connect to the factory amp that could give me back the sound that I was accustomed to rather than listening to half of the sound. Neither will I go back to Rolling Audio recommend them. read more

I will just start from the beginning! I was on my way to an appointment to have a stereo installed at another place. I had read the reviews on this place after I made the appointment. I got really nervous and started going through reviews on other shops. Rolling audio had great reviews so I dropped by and was quickly greeted by Neil. Neil was very patient and professional with me while I rattled on endlessly about my apprehensions regarding the other shop and what I wanted out of my stereo and that the subwoofers had to be dogproof. He jumped on his computer and looked some things up, showed me some speakers and made recommendations. We listened to the stereo wall, he even indulged me when I asked for him to play the "Humpty Dance" to test the subwoofers. One of the techs joined us and he was a pleasure to converse with also. I was so excited until Neil told me they were booked two weeks out! Neil said if I could leave my car overnight for a couple of days he would squeeze me in. When I went to pick my Nissan Pathfinder up this evening ,my car was running and the a/c on for me. The inside was nice and clean. This is an honest review from someone who has actually had to deal with this company. This rates as one of my worst experiences ever in customer service. We brought in our Mercedes Sprinter Van and told them exactly what type of sound we were looking for which is only what you would get in a Toyota Camary. As a Toyota Camary owner, I expected no less. However, my boom box sounded better even after expert consultation by Gary Gates the consultant. When we complained and again brought our Van in a second time which tied up our entire day, we were met with condescending remarks. Never do business with this company. Especially, if Gary Gates is the Service Consultant. We decided to take our business elsewhere since we lost total confidence even after speaking to the owner and were met with the same condescending remarks. I felt I was totally ripped off. They have always done great work on my husband's car and our friend's cars as well. My husband had a system put in his Cadillac and then had a guy from another not so great business put in a car alarm, well the car alarm ended up causing several computers to crash, so $1,700 later the car was fixed and the stereo had been ripped out. Neil was great about reinstalling it and was totally understanding and nice about storing our car for a few days when I couldn't come pick it up right away. Also, we had a new keyless entry for our car and he couldn't program it so he went next door to the other business and had the guys do it there for me. He also had part of my husband's car reupholstered while he was working on the stereo. He definitely has a great work ethic.
