2 stars for honesty. I came from 35 miles away to look at a car for my son. I mentioned this to the person at the desk, all of the sudden there might be something like a motor mount needing replaced. (they mention that all vehicles go thru a checkup from an ASE certified mechanic!! I would hope they would fix it). I still took the car for a drive, definitely had something going on. At least he felt guilty about the car enough to mention it, give him that. If car wouldn't have had an issue I probably would have taken it. They sounds really nice and judging by the reviews most are happy. I will never be back and will never tell anyone to go there. read more

I started searching for a new (used car) a few months ago. Like everyone else I started my search online. To my own fault I submitted my information on a website that sells used cars, and began to get flooded with hourly emails and phone calls from sales people. Like most other people, I'm not particularly interested in being harassed multiple times a day with questions and phrases like; "Are you ready to buy today?" "If you come in today I can get you a great deal." This deal isn't going to last" and the list goes on. Luckily for me I stumbled along Rolling Motors while driving down El Camino. I saw a Honda Civic that was similar to what I was looking for so I decided to drop in. The car was a little out of my price range because it had very low millage, but the salesperson said if I gave him a price range and the options I wanted he'd be able to find me something. For the first time in my car search, a used car dealer didn't attempt to pressure me into purchasing something out of my price range. It took about a week and a half until the sales person invited me back to the dealership to check out some new inventory. What I enjoyed most was the negotiation process. After getting a car with the exact options and within the price range I requested, they didn't haggle with me about the price. At the end of the day I felt like the salesperson genuinely cared about making a good deal for both of us, and didn't pressure me into the purchase. Normally, I dislike used car lots and salesmen. I now like 1 and that is Ben. He gave a detailed showing of vehicles I was interested in with no pressure. That included explaining all that was done / checked with the truck i was interested in. Ben even took me into the shop to show me what they were doing to vehicles that were about to be put on his lot. I was impressed. The negotiations for a final price went down in the way I was comfortable with. While it's not for sure I will buy another vehicle from Ben, what is for sure is that I will check here first. Three months after buying a car from rolling motors the sunroof broke and started allowing water to leak into the car. Called Rolling Motors and left a message as well as texted but no one replied. Estimated to cost me another $2,000-3,000 to fix the sunroof. I'm a nursing student so this has really affected me financially and added a huge amount of stress to my life. Came here as an inexperienced car buyer, checking out a 04 Subaru WRX. From the outside, this car looks in excellent condition and it felt solid on the road. They didn't give me a full car inspection like their website promotes. I took their word, and I was reassured the vehicle was in excellent condition in and out. I put my trust in them and was extremely disappointed. Once I got home I took it to my friend who works exclusively on subarus and the first thing he did was look under the car. He let me know that they sold me a rust bucket and that I should return it if I could. I called and tried to return it and the guy said that when he inspected it there was little to no rust. However it has so much rust that when my friend and I took off the bumper cover we found that the crash bumper has holes and tons of rust build up. We also took off the subframe, which also had holes in from the rust.EVERYTHING HAD RUST. I can't believe he told me that there was little to no rust. They completely took advantage of me by selling me a lemon with holes. I have spent countless hours and lots of money doing what I can to remove the rust. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and anyone who is trying to buy in the San Francisco area will now know of how shady the car sales men can be at Rolling Motors. To top it off, I bought this car under the KBB excellent condition price. But got ripped off with a rust busket. Thanks a lot Rolling Motors. read more
