I want to start by saying that RadNet Rolling Oaks Imaging on Sycamore is a huge upgrade from their previous Erringer Road location. The facility is nice, the staff was courteous, communication was excellent, and I was taken back right at my appointment time with absolutely no waiting. I was told my imaging results would be available within 5-7 business days. Today is 8 business days, so I called simply to get a status update. Unfortunately, that's where my positive experience ended. I spoke with a representative named Mary, who had absolutely no patient bedside manner. When I asked when I could expect my results, she simply said the radiologists were behind. I understood that already, that's why I was calling for an update. When I asked if we were talking about another week, two weeks, or even a month, her response was, "I don't know." That is not an acceptable answer for a patient who has an upcoming surgery that depends on this radiology report. I have to stop prescription medications and over-the-counter vitamins based on my surgery schedule, and without these results, I don't know if that surgery can proceed. A little empathy and communication would have gone a long way. Instead of repeatedly saying, "I don't know," it would have been much more helpful to say something like, "I'm sorry for the delay. The radiologists are running behind. I'll flag your concern for follow-up, and please check the patient portal again in a couple of days." Even if she couldn't provide an exact date, showing some compassion would have made all the difference. I understand that healthcare is overwhelmed right now, and delays happen. My frustration isn't with the delay itself, it's with how I was treated when I called for information. If you're having imaging done here, the appointment experience is excellent. Just be aware that your results may take significantly longer than the quoted turnaround time, and if you call for an update, you may not receive any meaningful information. read more

Drove from Oxnard to Simi Valley after fasting and giving myself an enema, as instructed. Arrived in plenty of time for my scheduled appointment, paid $420 in copay, only to be told we couldn't get the entire procedure done today. Can I come back for half of it? In other words: can I do another fast, enema and two hour drive because THEY can't get it together? So, I rescheduled the entire thing and went to eat, since I hadn't yet. this is absolutely unacceptable I was seen for an MRI and told the radiologist would have the report in 5 days (so they could get my money) . today has been 12 days and no report, I called and was told the doctors are 3 weeks behind on reports. This is what happens when corporations take over health care. rolling oaks has bought out most of the imaging centers in Ventura county and it looks like they cut the number of doctors to increase profits and we the patients are left to suffer. this is the problem with health care in the US. If your care is time sensitive in any way avoid them at all costs you will wait a month or more for results! read more

Very disappointed with the MRI tech named Naomi who was attempting to rush me thru without filling out forms in the process. Her whole body demeanor and attitude was unprofessional. Because of that, I never went thru with the MRI. I asked for a $200 refund which was my co-pay amount. I was assured I would not be charged and/or see a refund on my bank statement within a couple days. It is now 6 days and there is no refund in sight. The site manager named Lilly called me and she said she would take care of the charge for me and call me back within the hour. She never followed thru, I tried calling her and was unable to reach her. I called Radnet and spoke to the Billing Department. They are saying it takes 10 business days to refund my money! What? I paid with my debit card for testing I never received. This is shameful!!! I will now call my bank and not return to this location. read more

Been going here for years, always been happy til my last visit. The staff checking in was fine, but the woman who did my mammogram was brutal. She was very rough, didn't treat me as a human. My doctor ordered a CT scan. Made the appointment on line and uploaded all the required documentation. The appointment required me to be there one hour prior to the designated time in order for me to drink the contrast liquid, which was ordered by my doctor.. I showed up and they told me that this facility doesn't do contrast. The technician was condescending and saying that don't do that anymore.. I asked him why I had to show up an hour prior to my appointment and he was very dismissive. He basically said to drink a lot of water and my doctor's not gonna review it. A radiologist will and was basically dismissive of my primary physician.. walked out with zero confidence in what happened contacted my Doctor Who was rather shocked that they didn't inform me that they didn't do contrast. My advice is to be very careful in identifying what this radiology company will do without informing the patient of what they won't do. read more

My appointment time was fine and on time. The ultra sound room had no lights on and everything was blue including the walls and ceiling--the ceiling had a rolling blue pattern that was annoying and rock music was playing---not very tranquil at all. BEWARE before making an appointment! I'm a person with severe pain. This year, 2025, during the first 2 1/2 months ROR has canceled my scheduled appointments three times saying that they don't have a technician to take my CT scans. This has happened one day before my appointments. They also refused to transfer my doctor's orders to a new imaging center. I've had to call each doctor's office and make new requests and to postpone my appointments. This company cares Nothing about patients and the inconvenience they cause. There are plenty of other companies I could go to that care about patients. I will Never-go back to ROR. A broken down office running on only one cylinder. read more

The call center or virtual assistants they hire to handle phone calls and schedule appointments are AWFUL. They are unfriendly, slow, and repeatedly ask questions that are stated on order forms. The staff at the actual clinic are friendly as far as I've experienced but the phone calls to make an appointment make me want to wait as long as possible to schedule one. Please make it so that we can just make appointments online! read more

This place is absolutely awful and incompetent! I went in to get an mri they told me I would owe over a thousand because of my insurance deductible and I said no I talked to my insurance I owe 100 co pay.. they said nope so I stood there called the insurance and they said once again no I just owe 100.00 and asked if they were in network I asked the girl at the desk she said they were in network so I got a reference number for them to call my insurance. Waited twenty minutes till the manager came out to tell me I owe over a thousand again went through the same thing called my insurance they called rolling oaks the manager came out again to tell me I owe the thousand because they are out of network!!!! How is Thousand Oaks in network but they aren't doesn't make sense. There for 3 hours for them to tell us that after saying they were. Horrible management no apologies for wasting our time telling me I was in network to tell me I'm not. I highly recommend going to Thousand Oaks they are the best this place is just awful. read more

Best pelvic ultrasound of my life, and that's saying a lot. Ladies iykyk. They had the room darkened with water lights projected on the ceiling and soft music playing. It was like going in for a massage or meditation. The tech was super nice and made sure I was comfy at all times. read more

Came to this location for an MRI at 5:10 last night. At 5:40 they informed me the machine went down and they had to re do the customer before me! I said schedule me with an open MRI elsewhere. Luckily they had an opening in TO this morning and that was a breeze and no wait time. Five stars for the lady at the front she was super sweet. I had to self pay 400.00 as they said insurance hadn't approved it yet. My MRI's were always approved in the past, so this is shady to me. I'll stick with going to TO. UPDATE! These people never submitted the pre authorisation to Blue Cross for me!!! Now I'm out 400 bucks that I can't apply to my deductible or submit a claim, as Blue Cross won't pay, because they dropped the ball! Tried for three hours today to get this resolved and the office manager has not called me back! This is a scam only trying to get your to pay cash! Never submitting to your insurance. Will report to BBB as well! read more

First , MRI's are no big deal for me . ear plugs in, I 100% use that 20 min for a power nap. I also bring a sweater and socks because it's always freezing in Imaging centers. . I've been to this location before without any wait or issues , maybe 10 min wait which is normal and expected . So today i did not bring my sweater since i he been in and out without incident . Today not sure wth happened because i showed up early as they told me to, infact i was called by your staff to come earlier . Why? You made me wait for two hours ! Then 6-8 other patients started filing in and being taken ahead of me all the front desk made was excuses . it was freezing cold prob 50 degrees in there .bring your own socks because they don't have them and you can't wear your shoes in the machine . they do not have wifi and nothing free near by so you can't even do anything on your phone to pass the time , they had a tv that loops their company BS. I was there 2 hours and they didn't even offer me the restroom or a cup of water . the tech offers me the restroom before my exam . I should have screwed around like those before me and hung out in the changing room for 20 minutes .. one of the excuses made to me was that someone kept moving in the machine and they had to keep re-starting. If you can't be in a closed MRI don't come here . take your self to an open MRI center they specialize in people like you. . There should definitely be a reschedule rule if you can't sit still in the machine. If you make the tech restart twice they should make THAT PATIENT RESCHEDULE not get so backed up that you cause a two hour inconvenience to every other patient! Perhaps if you have problems in MRI's you should bring a caregiver or take medication or something . I'll wait a month next time to get into TO . Now I understand why simi is the only office with open appointments . read more

I have had 2 MRIs and a CT Scan in the last few years. The staff had always been professional and kind.

I had an ultrasound here nearly 2 weeks ago and am still waiting for results. When I call I am told to leave my phone number and someone will call me back. That does not happen. I had the exact same experience earlier this year with the facility in Thousand Oaks. All Of this imaging etc has centered around my biopsy earlier this year and now, being a cancer patient, follow up imaging ordered by my oncologist. I had a great experience and everyone I interacted with was friendly and I observed the staff being exceptionally caring and helpful with the elderly visitors which always puts me at ease to know I'm in good hands. My friend spoke with a representative 9/25/24 since I received a text that her appointment was cancelled AGAIN! HELLEN, the representative was rude over the phone and put words in her mouth stating my friend wanted to cancel my appointment, when in fact she did not say that. She wanted to RESCHEDULE since she received texts 2 days in a row that her appts have been cancelled. She straight up said since my friend didn't want to give her insurance info (which was already on file), that my friend was refusing and Hellen stated THANK YOU FOR CALLING and to have a NICE DAY. Straight up tried to hang up on her. Very unprofessional, condescending and rude! As a healthcare worker this is unacceptable in all levels. She needs to be reported and retrained and written up. I am a recovering cancer patient and have used Rolling Oaks , 1700 Rose for many years. On August 5, 2024 I had a CT as a follow up for my cancer treatment. The office staff and the technician performing my exam were perfect, as always. It is now August 20, and I have not received the report regarding the results of this exam. Their stated goal is to post the results to the patient portal withing 5 days of the exam. We are now in day 15 for me, and no report. This was following the cancellation of an appointment that I had on July 9. That appointment was cancelled at 4pm on July 8, following several email, and text messages during the day confirming the appointment. I do understand that Rolling Oaks has taken over Grossman Imaging and is adjusting to incorporating services, and locations, etc, however, the severe disruption of services is both disturbing, and a major blow to the confidence that I have in Rad Net/Rolling Oaks. The response is totally unacceptable. read more

This is the second time this facility has neglected their patients who have really important diagnostic exams. I will never come back here again. As someone with previous cancer, the CT scans are critical, and by no means have time to delay due to machines always being broken down. Replace your stupid machine if it keeps "breaking down". This place only ever has one tech for each modality so if they call out, there is rarely someone to cover, so you'll also get a call to reschedule that could be a minimum of three weeks later... I took my dad here for an MRI and when we got there the doctor had ordered the wrong test. The folks at the imaging office were so sweet--they called and got the right test and squeezed my dad in. I was also impressed at how nice everyone in the office was. They definitely go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and well cared for. Finally, they are good at following COVID 19 protocol to keep their patients safe. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Beware. They fraudulently bill you estimated bills in advance of your appointment. Meaning even if they know you will ultimately owe less money as in my case. They collect more from you and then take MONTHS to process the claims. I have to receive a refund. I've spent hours calling. My insurance company and my medical provider have both said they've never seen this type of billing practice before ever. When I've called to request my refund they pass you from person to person. My advice is beg your docs for any other option and drive somewhere else because this place is horrible to their patients!! read more

The facility refused to refund a charge for MRIs that were not done. They stated they would refund my credit card immediately. I received a call back 10 minutes later stating they would and call me back on Monday. I called twice on Monday since they did not call me. Each time, it was someone wasn't in or available but it should be credit back. It's now five days later and they refuse to connect me someone to update me on my refund. Do not use this facility. There are many more MRI centers locally. read more

This is one office of what is now Imaging mega corporation RadNet imaging centers. Certain imaging tests can be done at another office, Rolling Oaks Radiology in Thousand Oaks, which is much preferred. The downside is all appointments go through a call center, which is clearly not local at all. There is a bit of language problem at times. Had to go to the Simi office, one of 10 locations, for a CT. They had to reschedule me for another day which worked out, but the biggest obstacle is that I am awaiting results now and it has been two weeks , 11 working days total. If you call the office to talk to an actual local person regarding the results, they referred to the online portal which while convenient if the report was ready on time, keep showing "no report yet. " all the pre-appointment information gathering is done online and was receiving multiple messages about additional documentation and information needed. If you need to ask additional questions you are just transferred over to the call center, who has no answers at all other than there aren't enough radiologists to read the images. So you wait and wait and wait. read more

It was nearly impossible to speak with a live person. That would be acceptable if their online scheduling software were functional. It wasn't. So, after several days of trying, I finally got through to schedule my simple scan. On the day of my appt. I arrived at 6:00am as requested. The lobby had no lights on. To find the office location I had to use my phone's flashlight while I searched the directory, which says 21 (the office is 210). When I entered, I learned that they'd cancelled my appt. because my insurance refused coverage. I told them I expected to pay out of pocket as I had the first time and they told me they'd already cancelled and there was no way for me to keep the appt. They also told me I did not respond to their messages. Not true. The problem is they leave excessive and repeat messages and some vi text and some online. Their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing. So, they left a text message 2 days prior asking me to scan my insurance card, which I immediately did. Then they messaged me several more times, all with the same cryptic message("call us about your appt."). The last text asked me to confirm my appt. I confirmed--this was 2pm. I got no messages after that. They informed me the next morning that my appt was cancelled. read more

I was scheduled for a MRI of my foot and ankle. Get there at 6:30am. The parking lot is pitch dark. Unsafe for women especially. Finally find the building. Not knowing that this location has the oldest MRI machine on the planet. They didn't even have the boot that your foot slides into for the MRI. They were using a plastic basket and a strap. Are you kidding me?! Then I was told the MRI would take about 80 or so minutes. I asked why. The tech said because of the age of their machine. I got up said no thanks and they scheduled me at the Thousand Oaks location for another day. Here is the difference. An up to date MRI machine with the proper item for a foot took about 24 minutes for both my foot and my ankle. These were two separate MRI's. Stay away from this Simi Valley location. This company's scheduling department sucks! read more
