Appreciated the online scheduling (so much better than waiting on hold ...) and was able to get an appointment in a few days. Easy parking. Checked in immediately and didn't have to wait for the imaging procedure. Cheerful staff. Horrible service is an understatement. I received a text message the day before my appointment with a link to fill out the forms in order to speed the process up, and to please arrive 15 minutes early to your appointment which I did. To make a Long story short, I sat there listening to all their employees for over an hour gossiping and carrying on about everything else in life besides business so I got up and left. I'd rather deal with the pain in my shoulder and foot for a couple more weeks until I get another appointment at a professional facility, rather than deal with people who don't care or respect their patients time. read more

They make you pay your deductible even if you have already paid it. They don't do there job and check with insurance first. Horrible staff

The receptionist and everyone that works both the front and back office are so incredibly nice. They do a great job, very friendly and kind. I'd recommend them to anyone who likes a quiet office that treats patients well. read more

The receptionist is old and is TERRIBLE at her job. Nobody told us to bring the piece of paper from the referring doctor and when we said we did not have it she actually asked us to get back in our car and drive home to get it. I had to ask her to call the office which she did and it took less than 1 minute to have them fax it over. How lazy can you be??? I also watched another client walk in and she did not acknowledge his presence, just let him stand there in front of him for like 2 full minutes. How does this person have a job???? That's like the very first thing you learn in customer service. I'm appalled. Update: I gave another star because the MRI tech was very nice. Unfortunately the receptionist is the first and last experience in a business and especially when you're paying $800 out of pocket it's important for them to really provide good customer service which I feel she did not. read more

Once I arrived to have the test, my experience was fantastic. My problem came before I arrived in getting the insurance approval to have the test done. The test was pushed back three times (and nearly a fourth) with the excuse that my insurance had not approved the test. When they tried rescheduling the fourth time, I called my insurance to find out why the test wasn't being approved. I learned that, in the past six (6) weeks, Simi Valley Advanced Imaging had never sent a request to my insurance for the CT exam that I needed! In my attempt to resolve the issue I was never able to speak to the people at Simi Valley Advanced Imaging that handled the insurance approvals. I was given quite the run around while trying to reach someone who was willing and able to help me resolve the issue. The Simi Valley Center Director was the gleaming ray of light that ultimately helped me resolve the issue. Between she and I, we were able to get done in one day what the insurance approval person(s) we're unable to accomplish over the previous six weeks! Be cautious in thinking that, because you have an appointment, you are set. In my experience, the insurance people did not look at my case until the day before the test. When they saw they didn't have what they needed, they simply delayed the test. The week or two in between appointments was never spent working the case to resolve the missing items they needed in order to garner the insurance approval. If you do schedule a test here, you need to call them daily until you receive confirmation that they have received the insurance approval. Until they resolve their insurance approval processes, I cannot recommend this facility and would personally never use them again. With that said, my experience at the facility getting the CT exam was fantastic. They were timely and courteous and the gentleman that performed the CT exam was great. 0 Stars for the insurance approval department; 5 stars for the staff at the Simi Valley Center. read more

If you enjoy rude employees and incompetence, this is the place to go. When making the appointment, I told the receptionist what I needed to have done. She was so rude. Then scheduled appointment. I sent over the referral from my doctor which indicated what I needed done. Came to my appointment at 7am. The front desk was rude, the imaging person that was taking me back to do procedure was rude. She handed me a copy of my order and stated only one procedure was scheduled and I would need to schedule the other on the way out. I asked why both were not scheduled, I sent the referral (the one she handed me). She said she didn't know. Her rude attitude and the office incompetence was too much. I left without any procedure. If I can't trust this place to make a simple appointment correctly, how can I trust anything else they do..., from the imaging all the way to insurance. No thanks. This place was a HUGE disappointment. The staff there need to serious fix their lives because their unpleasant attitudes are off putting! And the incompetence is inexcusable! Scheduling is your job! What a total waste of my time and fuel driving to this place!!!!!!!!! read more

The office itself is fine however trying to get a pre-approval prior is so difficult. I finally gave up & went to a different office because they were so slow and unresponsive. I called my insurance and they told me they can review within 24 hours but the Imaging Center kept delaying sending the info to them. When I call the Imaging Center I'm told to hold to speak to their Referral Dept and I am put on endless hold ( one time on hold for 30 minutes until they hung up on me). read more

I called to set up appointment, was told how $ I needed to bring. That was fine until a day before my appointment I was called and told the appointment that was scheduled was not scheduled correctly. I find this unacceptable since my doctor faxed the order to them before I called. Then the day before my new appointment they call to confirm and suddenly the price they quoted all of a sudden was more. The staff does not know what they are doing and I personally don't feel comfortable going to their office at all who knows if they are competent with doing the procedure. read more

Friendly, caring, and kind. First, I really like the technicians here. Having to do an MRI and CT every 3 months is already not fun. I've gotten to know the techs and we have good conversation. This makes me feel more comfortable. Second, the front desk, no matter how slammed and busy they are, always know what's going on. When I'm not having a good day, they are patient with me. If for any reason they are running late, they've always reminded me to call my next appointment (as I always have to see some doctor immediately after the exams). I really appreciate their calmness. The waiting area can be a little cramped, and if it is a little later in the morning they can be out of water and the DVD might be playing the intro on a loop. I travel with water and headphones as I'm now used to spending most of my time in waiting rooms. So for me, it's not big deal and I've never brought it up. I'm sure they would re-stock and fix the DVD if asked. Having completed exams at other locations within Rolling Oaks/RadNet, I'd much rather the folks at Simi Valley. read more

On hold for 20 mins then they hung up on me, then I called back and was put on hold for 30 min. WOW. They need to get more help. It is stressful enough trying to get an appointment for PET scan to see if the cancer has come back, but to deal with the ever ending hold ridiculous... I am calling the doctors office to get a different referral even if we have to waiting longer. Don't trust that they will be able to accommodate us. They have had our referral for over three weeks the doctor said and no one ever called to set up the appointment. We finally had to call the referring physician office to see where we were suppose to have the PET. read more

Super nice front office ladies and Todd, my CT Tech was funny and made me feel comfortable.

Very friendly staff, they have free coffe and tea in the waiting room. But the magazine selection is rather limited.

The staff that works in this office is caring and helpful. The technicians were so compassionate and got me through my anxiety in doing the MRI. They even allowed me to see the machine before the exam so I could mentally get ready. The receptionist explained everything on the phone, even before I got there and was extremely helpful once I was there. I did not have to wait for my appointment.The radiologist sent the report the same day so I had quick answers. Overall it was a pleasant experience, the staff is patient and compassionate, and I will come here for any other procedures I may need. read more

Extremely pleasant considering I have 5 pinched nerves they made sure I was as comfortable as possible and gave me little brakes in between, I don't understand bad reviews I forgot paperwork and ins card and they called in and got it and let me drop things I forgot off later read more

Very friendly staff. I had a tad of an anxiety attack while in the MRI machine. The technician reassured me that it happened at least once a day. Aside from being embarrassed, the experience was a good one. I have to go back there again for a CT and I know I am in good hands. read more
