Both had a good taste, jasmine rice was a bit sticky but overall good. Jerk sauce was a little spicier than I expected so glad they automatically put it on the side. We hadn't been to a Crazy Bowls and Wraps for a couple of years. It is always confusing on how to order. You pick your bowl or wrap in one section of the overhead menu, then your grain in another spot and then your protein in yet another spot. Grain and protein options have upcharges. By the time you are ordering, you got yourself a pretty expensive bowl or wrap. Person at register was impatient and didn't offer to help or make suggestions. I can't remember the bowl I got on quinoa with the plant based chicken item. The plant based chicken was very dry and unseasoned. The whole bowl was dry. Was I suppose to order a sauce too???? I saw later those were in the menu as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There used to be condiments like black sesame seeds on the tables...no more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The topper bar is now little containers of their various salsas, etc. I guess that must be a change after Covid. We went here 12/2/25 about 3p for our first time. The staff behind the counter couldn't even acknowledge us! There were about 3 tables w/customers eating, and we were the ONLY people at the counter!! I finally asked if someone wanted to help us w/an order. The guy behind the cash register was confused that we wanted to be waited on and thought I was just talking in the air or to myself. He pulled out his one ear bud to talk w/us (only had in one ear), and was just not going to explain how things worked & to just look above at the menus. The girl was a little better, but I did finally get their attention - even when we were the ONLY people front front of the counter. After deciding on a bowl plus a wrap, they said we could get a side which was included and showed us the Sides list. We took the side of vegetables. Then we found out when we got our order to go that our sides were $.99 more each. The girl said normally, people only order chips as a side, but no one told us, so our side choice was $.99! This is frequent dinner stop for me when I don't feel like cooking. The service is always relatively fast, and the food is consistently good - it's my favorite "fast food" restaurant because of the the fresh ingredients and healthier options. This store is located in Lamplighter Square. It has a lot of seating, a newer look and feel than some other CBWs, and the customer service is always good. The store is clean and well maintained. What else can I say, except that I'm crazy for Crazy Bowls and Wraps! Try the Thai Chicken Bowl with jasmine rice with a side of tortilla chips. I love that sauce! (Except when I'm doing a round of Whole 30, then it's steak High Protein bowl with olive oil herb dressing and 2 sides of pico from the dressing bar!). This place is mediocre based on the meal we got. My son ordered the Poke Bowl which mostly consisted of coleslaw. The sides for it didn't really combine well (choice of a tortilla or chips)..not very much Ahi whatsoever. I got the crispy chicken bites which were pretty good along with their sauces. Their tables had signs so people could sit at every other one but when we went to sit with our food they said we couldn't. I love this chain! It always feels super healthy and the potions are huge for the price. My regular is the fajita bowl with quinoa and salmon, but the kale and quinoa salad is also amazing. I am so sad to give this place 2 stars. I have been going to it for years but in the past 6 months I don't know if there is new ownership or what is going on but there is HORRIBLE customer service. Rude and unfriendly. First time they didn't give me any chips for my three meals that were included and when I asked the guy said "they don't come with the meal" I said yes they do (cuz they do) and he rolled his eyes and reached for them. Second time jus today we ordered (hoping it was just a random bad time) and again they put no chips in the meals. I would love to give the place a good rating, but unfortunately, an employee that works there has made it personal with us. Its the tall curly haired 'dr. who' looking guy. He just has the worst work attitude and unprofessional toward my wife in particular. On three occasions has argued with her about sauce for crying out loud. My wife is not a Karen, but she is Gen Extra, and is rarely wrong, but she was willing to even pay for sauce that should already be included. Yesterday was final straw...when he saw my wife come in, he made a RBF, rolled his eyes, and then disappeared to the back, to ensure that the $40 order was made completely wrong. I am sure that he and the other employees spent 5 minutes spitting and defecating into the food. There are not enough unkind words to say about this behavior and about this so called 'establishment'. As a CBW lover, I tend to stop in whenever I am near one. This location was just off for me though. My husband's power bowl came with no chicken (like he ordered). They got his chicken but then he realized there was no dressing. There was hardly any sauce on my pesto bowl so I had asked for some. He didn't want to ask for dressing after that so he just poured salsa over it. Even beyond all of that, the food just wasn't up to par with other CBWs. I called CB&W after placing the order to ask for a small container of corn salsa from the flavor bar because there wasn't a way to request it through the app. The woman I spoke with was very nice and indicated she'd make sure it was included. It wasn't. This is consistent with normal visits there. They get it right about half the time and the location typically has less accuracy than other CB&W locations. I absolutely love this place. I live in LA and I find it hard to find very healthy places in St Louis. My favorite here is the quinoa and kale soup. However I did just order the soup and I was given the salad by accident and I thought I would try it. It was absolutely amazing. Very fresh, delicious ingredients. I love the little sauce bar they have. I always get hummus and the green sauce to dip my tomato tortilla in. The place is very clean every time I've been here. Plenty of parking right in front. Open late hours also. Highly recommended extremely healthy low on calories great clash of clans. Definitely a healthy alternative to the rest of St Louis. Also try there different iced teas.
