They don't call to tell you they are running late or call to reschedule. You have to keep calling them. I purchased and oxygenated water system, soft water system, and Reverse Osmosis system. The problems first began when water started coming out of the tap the color of milk. We were never told this was part of the oxygenation process by sales or upon installation. People are afraid to drink the water when they see the color. Then the water from every tap tasted of salt and was undrinkable, I had to buy bottled water after opening a fortune on this system. When I spoke to Stephen in the office he refused to get someone out until the following week. it took two service calls for someone to resolve that issue. I was told by both the sales representative and service techs that Stephen owned the company. However, the one and only time I was able to get anyone in the office regarding the problems was Stephen and he denied it. A few weeks ago my water was no longer soft, I reached a technician on his personal phone and scheduled an appointment. On the morning of the appointment I received a call from the technician because he he had to cancel the appointment and would call me to reschedule when he got to the office. I did not receive a call and had to call and text him the end of that week to reschedule the appointment. The day of that appointment I received a call that he was running late and he gave me an updated time of arrival, he showed up late. In addition, I smelt a strong odor of beer from him but did not confront him because I was alone. When the technician checked the water upon arrival and before he left, he confirmed the water was hard. However, he assured me that after it went through it's cycle the problem would be resolved. While I was venting my frustration to the technician about the problems we were experiencing he actually told me we were not experiencing any problems. I then had to run through the list again and he insinuated that I was the one that had the problem and I was lucky I wasn't being charged for all the service calls. Once again, I never heard from anyone to schedule the follow up appointment My husband then reached him and an appointment was scheduled. My husband told his employer he would be in late because he wanted to be here for the appointment. The appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM today 11/21/22 and no show or call. At 9:11 AM my husband place his first call to the technician and his call went to his voice mail. At 9:17 AM he called the office only to be sent to a voice mail at every extension. Three more calls were placed to the technician with no response. We had the phone number of another technician that had been to our house and my husband reached that technician. The technician that was supposed to be at the appointment was with him so he passed the phone to him. The technician insisted with my husband that my husband strong armed him to come on Monday and that he wanted to come on Tuesday instead. My husband explained he took time off of work, because this was the day and time the technician told him when they spoke. If he said he wouldn't be able to get out until Tuesday, he would have scheduled the appointment for Tuesday and gone in late. My husband was told the other technician would arrive around noon and he would eventually arrive as well. We are awaiting their arrival. I DO NOT RCOMMEND THIS COMPANY! We spent a fortune for these systems and the service is horrendous. In addition to having to purchase water because it was undrinkable due to the salt, now we have water spots on everything because the water is hard. I have just filed a formal complaint with the finance company they use. I feel they should be aware of the problems with dealers they do business with. They tried to reach them as well but were unable to contact anyone at the office either. I feel as though we have been scammed.

That means deep, intense testing. Charles has been phenomenal in helping us decide if a house we are considering buying is safe for our health issues (and, if not, what we can do to make it safe. the tests aren't all back yet!). Tho he had to travel quite a way, his inspection was meticulous and beyond thorough. He spent nearly 8 hours going into every nook and cranny. He knows where to look, how to ensure the home is safe including the furnace and HVAC system. He was also very careful with making sure we would not overspend on unnecessary tests which we appreciate (altho we went for some more expensive ones at the get go anyway). And then after that full day, he hustled to make fedex to ensure the tests would be evaluated in a safe and expeditious timeline and THEN dropped off the cultures to the lab in person. Further, bc of the purchase timeline, he rescheduled other clients to be able to assess our house so we could get all tests back within our inspection timeline. He is also very well versed on newer technologies and proper remediation techniques for air handling and venting systems. Highly, highly ,highly recommend!

I would like to begin my review by sharing that this is the second time we have hired Abe Kurek as…read moreour home inspector. I left a glowing review during 2023. You can look it up under my name, Mary Savva. Although we decided against buying the home in 2023, we decided we would absolutely and unwaveringly use Abe as our inspector the next time. Fast forward 3 years later, we recently used Abe in June 2026. We had the pleasure of meeting his son Nick during our 2nd inspection. I really can't say enough about Abe. I find it difficult to top my 2023 review because it was so good. During our second experience with Abe, we had a different realtor. All I have to say is Abe is on your side. The jingle, "Nationwide is on your side" should be Abe's theme song except it would be, "Abe is on your side." I hate to sound cheesy, but when you are a first-time homebuyer, it's hard to relax and trust the process. Abe makes it easier to do that simply because he is loyal to you and only you. It's a huge relief to have someone with so much experience under their belt in your corner. It's also a relief to know you can have the same confidence in his son Nick. When you hire Abe, the relationship doesn't end with the home inspection. He fully prepares you to become a homeowner. He provides lists of referrals and lots of other useful information on his website such as what to look for during the final walk through. He assures you that you can reach out to him at any time- pre and post purchase. You feel like you are more than just a customer, you are now part of a family. Of course, the candy filled goody bag made especially for you helps a lot too during the inspection! Abe and Nick check every nook and cranny (crawlspaces, roofs, attics) They arrived on time and spent over 3 hours combing through the property. Abe uses his drone to check the roof. He even has a "back-up drone" just in case his high-tech drone fails for whatever reason. He is fully prepared for your inspection. He is able to explain complex issues clearly in layman's terms, or in our case, "first time home buyers" terms. He patiently answered our questions. His home inspection report is concise and easy to understand. This cannot be overstated. It includes a "Table of Contents" which makes everything easy to find. The report does not lack detail. It is well organized with very clear pictures. This helped us to negotiate repairs and buy in confidence. One of my best friends is currently house hunting. Her husband is a surgeon. She is worried that he might not be able to attend the home inspection. I immediately referred her to Abe and assured her that she would be in good hands. I explained she would have nothing to worry about if her husband could not attend. I highly recommend Abe & Nick Kurek to anyone buying a home in the area. They are professional, responsive and worth every penny! 5/5 stars.

But…read moreafter one phone call to Abe, I was pretty set and confident on Abe's Home Inspection Services. Over the phone, he was able to answer all of my queries and gave me a quick run-down of all the different services they provide and an accurate quote for an inspection on the house. He was also able to answer all of my "what-if" questions and ease my nerves by giving me a step-by-step on what to expect. Although my window for inspection was only 7 days, he was also able to squeeze me in for an inspection and got me my report within 3 days! I'm super grateful for that. On the day of the inspection, Abe and Nick let me join in on the process and even encouraged me to take my own notes. Every step of the way was a learning process for me and I gained a ton of new knowledge on structural info, safety, energy saving tips and more on the house. Abe gave me a packet and some goodie bags. The retractable tape measure with sticky notes and pen is really cool. He also put in some candy if you're feeling peckish, some hand sanitizer, flashlight and bandaids--all super useful stuff. Folder includes info packets, and even a final walk through checklist. He'd really thought of everything. Overall, I highly recommend Abe. His inspection gave me valuable insight on the house, and most importantly I gained a peace of mind. It's definitely worth the price!
