The ambiance was perfect for date night! We came around 8:30ish near closing so it was less busy and had a quiet and intimate vibe. We ordered the bruschetta and it was amazing!! The ingredients were fresh and it was super refreshing. We also ordered the gnocchi and tortellini which were pretty yummy. The portion sizes were good and we had leftovers to take home. We ordered the affogato but were informed that they were out of vanilla ice cream. Our server Nic offered it with the pistachio ice cream instead and it was surprisingly really really good and the highlight of our dinner! Nic's service was phenomenal, her energy is amazing! All in all a great restaurant if you're looking for a nice date night dinner. Our meal all together was ~$110 for two people including tip. I do not live in Las Vegas and I'm not a high roller however this is the best Italian food I have had in a long time. I fly small jets for a living and travel a lot and the service here is outstanding and the food quality is 10/10 to boot! The is my go to spot every time I have any kind of time stopped over in Las Vegas. The owner is running around tending to all the tables on a busy night and even taking time for my little one person table! There is a table of 20 ppl next to me and I get treated exactly the same. Food is flying out of the kitchen, all the beautiful waitresses are smiling when they walk by. The atmosphere is perfect, white table cloths and big clean wine glasses and your own little table light with a fresh rose and a rather large selection of wine! If you want somewhere with amazing food away from the strip and excellent service then Roma Kitchen is the place to go!!! Highly recommend. read more

Compliments to the chef, we are critical when assessing traditional authenticity of "Italian" restaurants with so many posers or nouveau artistic endeavors (some chefs need to consider the audience) that eschew tradition. To be sure, what is traditional varies regionally (i.e., Sicilian cooking style or North vs. South) but some things are nearly universal. Il sugo va bene. One can expect prime time on Friday nights to be noisy (especially the bar) but the venue is small and acoustics could be better. That is not uncommon given overhead for restaurants and does not warrant taking away a star but is a consideration if the experience matters. read more

Love the decor, very comfortable. The food is excellent and good size portions. I had the Chicken Francese and my husband had the Chicken Marsala, both were fork tender. For dessert we had the Pistachio Gelato, which is totally shareable and delicious. I'm Leary of trying new restaurants. We went for our anniversary. The place was quiet and lacked any real ambiance. It was really bright in there. The food was a different story though! The red peppers, burrata and prosciutto was amazing! So fresh and you could taste the freshness in the cheese. The bread came out hot and the wine was amazing. We ordered the meat lasagna which may have been the best lasagna I've ever had. The meat was soft, the cheese and sauce were SO flavorful. We also got the branzino which is a whole fish pan fried in a lemon butter sauce. The fish tasted so fresh and very light and airy which is not how I would usually describe fish. The sauce was the tastiest and possibly the best branzino sauce I've had. Overall I'd definitely go back. Worth it. I do wish the sides came with the entrees instead being extra but that's ok. Next time we are going to get dessert too. read more

My daughter lives in the area and has been wanting to try Roma Kitchen so we went there for her birthday dinner on August 4. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant. The ambience was lovely, casual chic I would say. The waitress was attentive, informative, and very pleasant. The food was off the charts. We first enjoyed a cocktail from the happy hour menu that was delicious. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and two dinners and shared everything so we could taste everything. The steamed clams were perfect. I couldn't stop dunking the delicious garlic bread in the broth. The meatballs were outstanding, as was the Caesar salad. The eggplant Parmesan and tortellini were delicious as well. We ended our meal with tiramisu that was also delicious. I can't wait to go back. read more

Tonight, my wife and I decided to do a quick spontaneous date night since this place was no more than 5mins from our house. My wife ordered this artichoke dish as an appetizer, and lasagna for her entrée - I ordered the chicken parmesan. Honestly, we couldn't believe how good the food was. I visited this place to check out their happy hour. I live close by. I actually ended up having fun. (Friendly people at the bar to chat with!) I loved the oldies music piped in; a fantastic variety at perfect volume. The friendly yet professional bartender and server played musical trivia with me. As a baby boomer, I recognized all of the songs. :) I ordered their espresso martini. It arrived in a large glass. The biggest and best tasting martini I've ever had and at a great happy hour price. In fact, being a light drinker, I had to stay until almost closing to be able to drive home. Before the hour ended, I ordered a caprese salad, which I was allowed to have as take out. (!) Since I stayed so late, I ate it anyway and it was delicious. I was even offered side bread for free. (btw I went to the Horizon location and had the bruschetta. The best I have ever had and I will try this at the Decatur location.) It was the day before Independence day, so only a few diners came in. The cook and servers had it all under control. The food passing by me looked so good and smelled delicious. I feel like I made new acquaintances with Amanda and Nikki, such lovely women. I returned a week later and saw that the restaurant was nearly full. I was able to meet the owner and he appreciated my feedback on both locations. I will have to have dinner sometime. Roma is the best Italian restaurant in all of Las Vegas/Henderson. The food is made fresh, including the pasta. I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. The Service is spectacular; the servers are super nice and always at your table. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet which makes for enjoyable conversation with your guests. The new outpost of Chefs Roma Kitchen in sourthern highlands is fabulous. Never tried their Henderson location, but what a great dining experience. First of all, the portions are very large. This was surprising considering the reasonable menu prices. The calamari is perfectly seasoned and cooked, not soggy or too much batter. Shrimp scampi was amazing. Very large steakhouse size shrimp in a slightly creamy sauce versus just pure oil and garlic. Great treat. The entrees were all oustsnding. The highlight is of course the Bone-on Veal Parmesan. the closest I 've experienced in Vegas is the famous Veal Parm at Sinatra's (Wynn). The Chef's Roma version is better. Just over the top in size and quality. It's more than enough for two people. The seafood pasta was nicely done, so is their bolognese and the parrpadelle with chicken. All around exceptional. Great service. The ONLY negative was the Cesar salad. The flavor was great but the kitchen put so much dressing on it the salad was heavy and soggy Another friend who dined recently said the same thing - they need to revisit their dressing portion. read more
