    Grilled Vegetable Salad
    Cienah R.

Below average Italian spot. Ordered the grilled vegetables salad ($30) which was nothing special. Vegetables are covered in oil? Added shrimp for protein for $10 and I almost wanted to call and see if it was a mistake that I only received 3. The amount should be stated when ordering, as it is a little comical. Bruschetta has a 1.5 cherry tomatoes on it, also soaked in oil underneath. ($15) Tortellini is also nothing memorable unfortunately, could probably make something similar at home. For the price this place charges, definitely not worth it.

Cliff Notes Price Range: $$ Parking: Plenty Perk: Lasagna Non-Perk: Drink prices $$$ Ambiance: Small restaurant feel Dress: Smart Casual Noise: Low to Med Temperature: Comfy Recommend: 100% Response Time: Fast Professionalism: 100% Date: 2/20/26 Dissertation: This place must be doing something right because we went back three days later just to get the lasagne again. When we first arrived, Lauren was our bartender and she was SO sweet -- the kind of person who instantly makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first time there. Later we sat down for dinner and Niki took over. She was super knowledgeable, on point with everything, and made the whole experience really smooth. Now the food....the lasagna was out of this world. Rich, cheesy, comforting....the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite and just appreciate life for a second. It was so good we literally came back a few days later just to grab a to-go order. My only 2 small complaints were the meatballs and the drink prices. Both times the meatballs were a little pink in the middle, the outside had great flavor, but the center had me doing the cautious "let me just check this one more time" inspection. And the cocktails were a tad overpriced for the area (in our opinion). We're not on the strip, but the drink prices kind of felt like we were. That said, great service and incredible lasagne. At this point I'm pretty sure we'll just keep coming back and ordering that... and maybe letting someone else handle the meatballs.

This is my second time here! The restaurant (Roma Kitchen) is located at 10420 S Decatur Blvd #100 Las Vegas, NV 89141. They now have a Happy Hour! The server remembered what I drank! That was two months ago! It smells incredibly clean in here! The layout is quite simple too. To start it out, i'm ordering the S. Pellegrino sparkling natural spring water. The mineral composition includes calcium, magnesium, and bicarbonates, offering a distinct, slightly salty, and refreshing taste profile. I love this stuff! For my first drink, I'm having a Smoked Old Fashioned. This is made with Whistle Pig, simple syrup, Angostura bitters, amarena cherries and an orange peel (garnish). This is perfect! It's well balanced and garnished! They use a large ice cube to skid up the dilution process. You have to love the smoking chest! Very good! I'm impressed! I love the oldies music in here. Decent volume too. For our appetizers, we are having the Bruschetta (which is soft, white cheese (like mozzarella), marinated tomatoes and basil) and stuffed artichokes (made with bread crumbs, olive oil and Parmesan cheese)! The Bruschetta is great! You can smell it when it's served. This is an open kitchen so you can see chefs hard at work. There's people picking up food as well for takeout orders. There's not a lot of decor in here but it's very clean in here. For his entree, my friend is having the Meat Lasagna made with fresh mozzarella and meat sauce. I am having the Chicken Marsala made with butter, Marsala wine and mushrooms. Each entree includes vegetables (broccoli) and potatoes. The broccoli is really good with a peppery flavor. I love those potatoes too! We are also having a side of sautéed spinach. Oh yeah! Those are yummy! I have not had these in decades! My entree is steaming hot and quite good! God, that's good! For my second drink, I'm having the Whistle Pig Manhattan made with Whistle Pig whiskey, sweet vermouth and Amarena cherries. This is good! It's well balanced and nicely garnished. I like the use of the large ice cube too. Mike is having the Carajillo made with Licor 43 and espresso. This is a first for him! Licor 43 (Cuarenta y Tres) is a bright, golden Spanish liqueur made from a secret recipe of 43 natural ingredients, including citrus fruits, vanilla, and aromatic herbs and spices, resulting in a sweet, citrus-vanilla flavor. It's versatile and can be served neat, on the rocks, mixed with soda, milk, or fruit juices, and is famously used in the "Carajillo" cocktail with coffee. Mike says it tastes a bit "nutty." The server is unbelievably attentive and incredibly nice! For my dessert, I'm having the [Jon] Taffer's Brown Buttered Bourbon Affogato. An affogato is a simple Italian dessert made by pouring a shot of hot espresso over a scoop of cold vanilla gelato or ice cream. The name "affogato" means "drowned" in Italian, referring to the way the hot coffee melts the ice cream. It is a quick and easy dessert that can be enjoyed immediately, with optional additions like liqueurs, chocolate shavings, or nuts. I am a huge fan of Bar Rescue! I'm dying to try this! OMG! Look at this! You can pour the espresso and bourbon on the dessert as desired! This is the best dessert I've ever had in my life. It's so easy to eat. Mike is having the raspberry sorbet. He loves it! This music is the bomb! Oldies (40's and up) all night! What a fantastic meal here! You can't go wrong!

Came here for dinner while in town. Great service as Blake was very entertaining. Ordered a Ceaser salad, pasta and a chicken parmigiana. Food was excellent and came out promptly. Prices reasonable for Vegas. Tiramisu for dessert was excellent. Nice ambiance with nice music. Will be back.

This is a cute place for happy hour and overall a wholesome Italian dinner. The food is delicious and the portions are generous and reasonably priced. The best part here is the service. Everyone here is incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. Their meatballs and pistachio ice cream are a must try.

I cannot believe that Roma Kitchen has been so close to my house for over a year and I'm just now learning about it. I love everything we ordered and can't wait to return. We started with the shrimp scampi and it was so good and filling. We also ordered chicken piccata and chicken francese which were both so good and came in huge portions. The side of pasta we got for our daughter was in a cheesy butter sauce and she ate so much of it but we had to take home leftovers since the portions were huge. The server was so friendly and kind and made us feel so welcomed. We discovered Roma because they accept payment on the InKind app. We are so glad we have this beautiful restaurant in the neighborhood.

Let me tell you something. We have come here from a friend's recommendation and this is one of the best restaurants we've eaten off of the strip and we're at the point now that we come at least twice a week the food is that damn good you need to hurry up over here get some of this food the customer service is spectacular Nikki is our waitress that we ask for every time and we feel like we're at home and I wish she would marry one of my sons... the food is phenomenal the wine flows like water and the pasta is absolutely breathtaking do not hesitate bring your butt over here to Roma's kitchen and destroyed his food like we do on a weekly basis

    Very intimate

We started with our usual grilled octopus, which unfortunately was dry, chewy, and lacked the flavor we remembered. The short rib arancini was equally disappointing--it was dry, and the short rib filling was virtually nonexistent. The only highlights of the meal were the bread basket and the short rib agnolotti, both of which were excellent and lived up to our expectations. To make matters worse, the table next to us brought in a small dog. I'm a dog lover and even take my own dog to pet-friendly places, but unless it's a legitimate service animal, I don't believe it belongs in what's meant to be a fine dining experience. This was clearly not a service animal, and it distracted from what was already a disappointing evening. After so many wonderful experiences here over the years, this was the first time we've left truly disappointed. I sincerely hope this was just an off night, because Scarpetta has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.

No Italian food anywhere this good since Felix Trattoria in LA opened with the glassed in humidified Nonna Room where Chef Evan wielded his chitarra and made Sausage Tortellini with his sausage fingers. Felix was the Italian version of the glass Dumpling cage at Din Tai Fung where the 18 year olds made 18 folds all Din Tai day. Many Italian Restaurants use store bought Pasta. It's an acceptable Chef cheat. Some even go to the trouble to buy Bronze Dye Extruded dry Pasta as it pits the Pasta to help absorb Sauce. Here, the Pasta is all made by hand. (Renta Nonna?) All hands on deck and on the Rigatoni. There is a discernable difference especially when the fresh handmade Pasta is cooked quickly to keep it as toothsome as Ferraro's does it. The Decor: Rich, warm, welcoming, earthy and understated elegant. So, no warehouse close out of Majolica Pottery. The Hostess will greet you as if you were really someone she'd like to sit next to at Thanksgiving. This place is located off The Strip in a Strip Mall and thankfully no street stripper cajoling you to take a photo with her/him for a ten-spot. The Bar: As full as a Bar can get with some of most anything you can order to go with anything you can pick from the ambitious menu, and the wine list is heroic. Overwhelmed by the signature Cocktails I finally picked a Drunken Strawberry with a little push from Ivana the wonderful Server who cared for me like the first night with an adopted pound puppy. My drink had Porter's Tropical Old Tom Style Gin, Chamberryzette (Strawberry Aperitif), Aperol, and Fabbri Fregola (Strawberries in Syrup). It leaned sweet, and two more would have had me leaning in the street. Within minutes Fabio the "Bread Boy" offered a tray of complimentary warm Rustic Rolls which were favuloso along with rectangles of Foccacia. The House made Tapenade was meraviglioso. The Staff: Ivana was as warm as the beautiful Rustic Rolls. She was charming and genuinely concerned about every detail to insure that all her guests enjoyed everything they selected from the huge menu. And they all did. Who's here? Locals, regulars, expats all dreaming of what they ate every Sunday at their Nonna's kitchen table. Of course there were a few turisti who ventured off The Strip which rivals Bourbon St. and Times Square for being a rip. You'd have to know this wonderful place is here and now you do. The Food: It is simply not possible to make a mistake or bad choice here. The food is exceptional. The Ravioli with a chunk of Beef Cheek inside was brilliant. This could've been a main course. The Arancini Cacio e Pepe was the size of a Rawlings Baseball only much easier to chew. It's a Black Pepper and Pecorino-Romano Cheese Rice Ball breaded and fried then topped with a Truffle Cream Sauce laced with flecked and bits of Black Truffle. (Ask for a side of Crestor). While crisp is America's favorite flavor, apparently, it's Italy's too. Crunchy and creamy these were beyond delicious. Finally, the third appetizer took a bow. Crudo di Coda Ricciola (thin slices of Yellowtail), with Fennel, Hazelnuts, Capers, Calabrese Chili Oil and a drizzle of White Balsamic Vinegar. This was more than just fish. It's more than you could wish for, capeesh? My Caesar was good enough to hail. Creamy, Garlicy Dressing with just a hint of Anchovy and Toasted Bread Crumbs replacing soggy Croutons. Lovely. The Lobster Aragosta (like saying Shrimp Scampi), was pried out of it's shell (like a debutant at her first dance) tableside with the expertise of a trauma surgeon. The Pasta was perfect, nice and spicy, and coiled attractively with a fork in a ladle and more than enough for four hungry Construction Workers. Lobster in unskilled hands is often bouncy and rubbery. Not this one, it was tender, slightly transluscent, sightly briny and half buried in the Fresh Pomodoro Sauce. I ate way more of this delicious Pasta than I had any right or ability to. It was addictive with one bite. So, yes it was worth the 4 plus hour schelp from LA to get here. Ferraro's is the Ferrari of Italian Cuisine (a bitaly of Italy for sure) and might just be the true home of home made Italian food in the Country...any Country.

We've been coming to Vegas for years and this is, without question, the best Italian meal we've had here. From the moment the house-made sourdough bread hit the table, we knew we were in for something special, and every single dish that followed exceeded our expectations. We started with the charcuterie board, and it completely blew us away. Even my daughter's simple buttered spaghetti was incredible. Because the pasta is house-made, you could immediately taste the quality. After that first bite, we couldn't wait for everything else to arrive. The salads, the entrées, the desserts, the wine selection--every single thing was top-tier. Rachel even suggested the strawberry lemonade for our daughter, and it was absolutely perfect. Speaking of Rachel, she made an already amazing meal even better. Her knowledge of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel incredibly well taken care of. She struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and her passion for the restaurant really showed. It's rare for a restaurant to exceed already high expectations, but Esther's Kitchen did exactly that. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an experience we'll be talking about for a long time. This has officially become our new go-to spot every time we're in Las Vegas. Pro tip: Do yourself a favor and save room for the chocolate coconut dessert. It's a stunning chocolate shell shaped like a coconut, filled with ice cream and fresh mango, and it was hands down one of the best desserts we've ever had. It's the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal.
