Traveled from ac area to the seafood buffet, great service, food was a 10, owner spent tons of time with us, I'd highly recommend

Lobster, snow and dugeness crab fried halibut

A group of 5 friends went to the Friday seafood buffett, food and service were great from server and waitress and the choices were perfect including unlimited whole lobster, dugeness, snow, and blue crab. The owner took time to sit with us and chat friendly clean atmosphere 10/10

What an Absolute Hidden Gem...The Thursday and Friday night Seafood Buffet is one of the Most Fresh and Delicious I've had in Years in the area...the choices are great..The Staff keeps it replenished and it feels like a real down home meal...Everything I tried I thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back again

This is a pizza that was delivered to me from roma. This was the most disgusting pizza I have ever had. You guys need a new pizza man.

I got a pizza delivered to my home and it was the most disgusting pizza I have ever had. The crust was so brittle and the center of pizza was mushy. The bottom of pizza completely burnt. You guys need a new pizza man! Terrible!

Anyway, Saturday night's visit was excellent - Pappardelle Bolognese for me, and for my Sir - Veal Parm. I absolutely loved my dish; he wasn't crazy about the gravy on his - said it was bland. He tried and liked mine a lot. Everything else was stellar. I'm glad that they still have their yummy scratch bread! I mopped up on that - four pieces lol (I skipped lunch and was ravenous!). Anna and Alvaro were stand outs with their excellent service and conversation :) Of course, no room for dessert - we didn't even look at the menu.

Alex, our server, was gracious, efficient, and engaging. The food was fantastic! They served us bread fresh out of the oven with garlic infused olive oil, as well whipped butter with herbs. Delicious! We ordered the Antipasto Plate as a starter. Artichoke, Roasted Peppers, and Prosciutto were the highlights. We also enjoyed the Shrimp and Scallop Pappardelle and the Branzino special. Both wer delicous and the servings were so generous we brought some home! Dessert was a Crème Brûlée and Tiramisu. Ambience was a cozy Italian restaurant in a strip mall. Siena is a BYOB. We'll be back!

They started us with a nice plate of breads with butter and tomato topping which was warm and fresh. My son had the ravioli trio which he loved and I had the pork chop fra diavolo. You could cut that pork chop with a fork it was so tender. The sauce was more like a vodka sauce or creamy marinara but was not fra diavolo sauce. But it was still delicious. It took us 40 minutes to get there and definitely worth the trip. We will be returning soon.

A Sunday, 98 degrees out and the 1st thing we notice is that it is sweltering inside. No big deal. The martini, $15, missing the top 3rd of the pour. We watched as the server told the bartender to stop pouring so he wouldnt spill it walking over. Reasonable perhaps? No! Because we watched as the bartender poured himself the rest of our drink and seemed to enjoy it right at the bar. Now the food. A wedge, fair for $16.95. But addeded a piece of tuna and now we have a lame $32 bowl of iceberg. Chicken parm and penne. Chicken was over an inch thick, not your typical chicken parm. But it was the sauce that ruined the dish. Since when is sauce so thick that it holds up the penne from touching the dish, almost like it was tomato pudding. Dont know what happened to this place, but it gout our last dollar!

Mamma Rosa was a wonderful surprise!…read more We've passed this little restaurant countless times. A friend was raving about how unassuming and how delicious everything was. Well in that case, let's go! There are only 7 tables and it's first come, first served. No reservations so don't bother asking! - Bruschetta - the perfect amount of salt and spice! - Burrata Appetizer - warm, delicious and perfect to split with a party of four - Homemade Meatballs - tender and fantastic. Like your mom makes! - Caesar salad - solid choice - Grilled Lamb Chop - my husband had leftovers from this that he actually ate! - Fettuccini with Sausage - homemade pasta cooked perfectly - Penne Vodka - silky and al dente - Pappardelle Special - truffle, mushrooms, red sauce. So flippin' good! We were too stuffed for dessert, as per! Special shout-out to the staff. They are warm, efficient, and make you feel like they've known you for years. We had the opportunity to meet the chef and that was a huge treat. We couldn't gush any more about how amazing everything was. He was humbled by our enthusiasm! Cash only and BYOB. We weren't greeted properly, and the atmosphere just felt uncomfortable. As a family of color, we didn't feel very welcomed. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she was very unprofessional. She brought drinks before even giving us menus and never mentioned the nightly specials. I only knew about them because I checked online beforehand. I had to ask for the specials menu myself, which was strange. The food took a long time to come out. We had to repeatedly ask for refills and extra bread just to hold us over. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing and not very appealing. One dish was so bad we sent it back after one bite. Even then, the service didn't improve. We constantly had to flag the waitress down, and instead of being attentive, she was venting about her personal life and having random, unprofessional conversations. When the check came, we were still charged for the dish we sent back -- she only removed part of it. I also wasn't given the advertised special pricing and was told it didn't apply because I asked for a different container -- something that was never explained beforehand. We spent $100 on food we didn't enjoy, with poor service and an uncomfortable vibe. The bread was honestly the best part of the meal. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

A+ Food, Drink, and Service…read more Initially dined at Francesco's several years ago and recently (July 9, 2023) made my way back there for another meal. As soon as you walk through the front door, there is a large bar and bar area. To the left is a formal dining area complete with enough tables and chairs to accommodate parties of multiple sizes. The decor is somewhat dated, but the establishment is clean and well-lit. Same with the bathrooms: a little dated, but clean, with good lighting, and stocked with everything a bathroom is supposed to provide. In general, the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Our server, Patti, was prompt and attentive during our entire stay. She took our drink order immediately and then explained the specials expertly. Everything we ordered: drinks, appetizers, and entrees - were all served to us promptly and in a reasonable amount of time. Patti checked in on us several times to make sure we were content with our meal. Plain and simple: the service at Francesco's was great! The food we ordered arrived hot and delicious. It seemed to me that everything the menu described as "fresh made" or "homemade" was indeed prepared that very way. My appetizer was the beet salad. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was amazing! For dinner, I ordered the Chicken Filippo. The portion size was generous and the chicken, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts complemented each other perfectly. My vegetable was snow peas sauteed in garlic aioli - yummy! Throughout our meal, we were supplied with hot and crispy bread as needed, along with plenty of butter. I am looking forward to returning to Francesco's and would highly recommend dining here. Remember to check their Facebook page, as they have daily and weekly specials, happy hour specials, and some events/specials the revolve around Philadelphia sporting events!
