My faucet was extremely old and so rusted, there was no way I can unscrew any of the bolts. I selected Romo Rooter because he was local and not associated with a major chain. Chris is, in fact, an independent operator. He was very responsive and was on time arriving later the morning that I called. He had to clear a tree root clog in the main sewer line near the street from a cleanout in the side yard. I was completely satisfied with his service - he explained what he was doing and why, and was very diligent in making sure the line was fully cleared before leaving the job. Chris originally came out because toilets and tubs were backing up. I called on a Sunday left a message. He texted back that same day. I thought that it was his day off so I wasn't expecting a reply until the next day! We scheduled a time for Monday and he kept good communication. He was nice and explained a lot of stuff from the problem to maintenance. Problem was fixed. Until 4-5 days later I was back to square one with everything backed up again. This time I had a family member sick with the "c" word. So obviously Chris wouldn't be able to come in. He said in order to figure out the problem he would have to come in so he could diagnose but he couldn't because of my situation. I asked if he had guarantees on his work and he replied quickly and then offered to just run the pipes again without coming in. I can only hope that this second time can get me through until my house is free of "c" so if it happens again he can come inside. My pipes are not ideal and the types of toilets I have don't make it any better. So if you're in the market for a new toilet make sure it will work well with your piping! (I could be the only one with this problem though). Anyway, I am very appreciative that he is coming back (within 20 mins of my first text to him). I couldn't just go to a hotel (because of "c") or use anyone else's toilet as well. I was stuck and I didn't know what to do (I have a family with 2 kids).
