Your next favorite Italian spot is closer than you think--don't sleep on this neighborhood gem! From the moment you walk in, this place gives off that cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. Whether you're craving a hearty plate of pasta or a perfectly crispy slice of pizza, they've got you covered with fresh, flavorful options that hit the spot every time. The service? Outstanding. Bishoy took such great care of us--attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel right at home. It's the kind of hospitality that makes a good meal even better. Make sure to ask about the specials--they're always coming up with creative and tasty new dishes that are worth trying. And here's a tip: if they offer you the bread... say yes. You'll thank me later. Support local today and give this place a try. Great food, great people, and the kind of experience that'll have you coming back for more.

The service, ambience, and over all vibes were so good!! Everything was very delicious. The truffle soup is to die for!! The breads are also amazing. My only small critiques are the lasagna needs a little more meat (other than that amazing) and the the linguine for the lobster thermador needs to be a little softer. Other than that, flavor wise, everything was bomb!!

We stopped in for pizza pickup on a busy Friday night and the pizza was ready and hot and tasted delicious we also ordered chicken wings in regular and Buffalo and those were excellent as well. Plenty of parking in the lots in front for easy in and out to route 17. The server got us checked out in a hurry and by the looks of things, the ambience was somewhat upscale and those that came in for dining room seating were nicely dressed. For sure we will be stopping again for pickup and sit down.

Italian pizza imposters. The weak rating and all the complaining. Believe everything you've read about Mangiamo. This is one those cases where a place like this, doesn't even deserve a 3 or 3 & a 1/2. Not even a 1. A zero? How 'bout that? Forget that Mangiamo is big and has lots of seating- we just came in to get something fast before heading over to Ringwood, NJ for a friend's late Saturday evening gathering. We saw Mangiamo's true colors: seriously dazed and confused waiter and scratchy, foggy and gritty wine glasses- making us go for paper cups instead to be on the safe side to pour our wine in. Menu has everything- including a deep dish that I was craving. And if I tell you I want a deep dish, don't respond with, 'deep dish?' with an 'I don't know what's a deep dish?' bubble over your head! At that point, I just asked for a damn slice. So much so, I only ate half of it. Hubs ate 1/2 of his regular and 1/2 of the pepperoni. I don't know what was worse: The pizza? Or the people working here??

OUTSTANDING!!! If…read moreyou like authentic Italian food and not the sauce heavy oil laden foods most local places make then try this place!!! We grabbed a table on a Saturday night we were immediately impressed by the amazing smells upon entering . I spent my summers in Italy growing up and this place took me back . Our wonderful waitress and over and left some bread and oil while we looked at the menu. We agreed upon the califlower as an app . Hubby had the eggplant parm and I did the pasta with shrimp and broccoli . We also got a side of broccoli rabe, the meals also came with a nice side salad . The portions are a realistic smaller size and delicious. Unbelievably so! Fresh and great quality olive oil is used you can taste the difference. We were going to splurge and get dessert but they only had chocolate cake or ice cream so we declined . It is a byob. We honestly already said we will be going again next week! Please do yourself a favor and visit!

The service was lovely--our waiter was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the fried artichoke hearts (a must!), burrata, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and the zucchini and eggplant chips--LORDY, those were insanely good. Every appetizer was better than the last. The main dishes were just as impressive. The chicken parm was crispy and flavorful, the gnocchi was melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the sole francese was delicate and delicious. We were passing plates around the table because no one could decide which dish was their favorite! It's BYOB, which made it feel even more relaxed and special. Total hidden gem--we'll definitely be back!!!!

Was not disappointed at all, first off 50 bucks for 4 people, where can you go and spend 50 bucks for 4 people? I spent 33 bucks at Wendy's the other day for me and my kid. So 50 bucks for 4 people for 3 courses in awesome! We got the ceasar salad, which was good and they gave us plenty of dressing and didn't skimp on the croutons or cheese. Next was rigatoni with oil and garlic and I gotta say I don't know what they did to the roasted garlic but it was amazing, like I was picking all the little pieces out of the pan it was so good. Then we got the sausage and peppers and if that wasn't enough they threw in meatballs with it as well. There was more than enough food for the 4 of us and we are big eaters. The sauce was so good and that fact that we eating at home I could soak up all the sauce in my bread without fear of being stared at by other patrons. We plan on ordering again and plan on going to dine in as well, the place looked newly remodeled and was quite cute inside. 5 out of 5!

I felt a little like Ray Liotta in "Goodfellas". The service was excellent and our waiter rattled off an extensive list of daily specials and they all sounded wonderful. We settled on burrata and a fried vegetable appetizer. The burrata was good but the fried thing was even better. I wish I could remember what it was because it was so good. I guess that's what I get for writing my reviews 2 months later. It was some kind of vegetable stuffed with cheese, battered and fried. It wasn't too oily and all the flavors and textures went well together. For our entrees we went with linguini in clam sauce and cavatelli, broccoli rabe, & sausage. The linguini was a solid plate of pasta. Linguini, clams, sauce. It tasted exactly how you expect it would and the pasta was cooked well. The cavatelli was much more interesting to me. The different textures and flavors really made it a joy to eat. The pasta was al dente while some of the sausage had some crispy bits to it. And the broccoli rabe kind of made me feeling like I was eating somewhat healthy The ambiance was nice if not a little dated. Not bad though, it was cozy. I'd come back, but not too often. It's pricey.

Located off a busy Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, Ora, meaning "now" or "right now" in Italian, has been on my list and was named Best Italian Restaurant in Bergen County in the 2025 Daily Voice Readers' Choice Awards. A reservation was easily made via Toast. Upon entering as first-timers, my partner and I were greeted by the host inside this multi-level space with the vibe of a modern farmhouse, featuring warm wood tones, exposed rafters, and chic finishes accented by soft mercury lighting. One can dine in the main room, al fresco on the outside patio, weather permitting, or at one of the many top tables at the bar. We were seated promptly at a cozy table ready inside the main dining room. Their menu features a well-executed spin on Italian cuisine. As a starter, we decided on the Basil Pesto Arancini to share. For the main meal, we opted for one of today's specials, 8oz Prime Spinalis accompanied by Mac & Cheese sans crab meat and Dayboat Sea Scallops. Even saved room for some dessert and decided on the Chocolate Tortino and Soft Serve Gelato Copette. Washed them down with Franganza Spritz. Complimentary housemade bread with whipped butter started our meal. Every dish had flair and stood up against the next. Presentations kept our eyes wide as everything arrived to the table, and even the more straightforward preparations had a little something special about them. Everything was delicious; we really don't think one could go wrong with anything on the menu. What truly elevated the night, though, was our server, Clark. He went above and beyond, attentive without being intrusive, genuinely kind, and clearly passionate about making sure we had the best experience possible. It made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. Can't wait to dine here again!

I got had the Branzino that had extra crispy grilled skin, but the fish itself survived from being dry. The kale was good and mash potato was decent. My daughter liked her penne pasta with butter and cheese. We wanted to get some mocktails, but they were out of virgin mojito, per the server. Not sure how was that possible!!! The disappointing part of the lunch was the mediocre service. Even though I mentioned it was a birthday celebration in the reservation, no one bothered to wish or ask us if we were celebrating anything. Our server only had to attend our table, yet he only came by three times, once to ask us about water, then to take our order, and once after our appetizers were served. Half of the time he invisible and rest of the time he was just hanging out by the register area stairs, chit chatting with other staff members. We refilled our own water and had to grab other stuff members to get extra plates and utensils. I was super annoyed to pay premium price only to experience a diner like service. I didn't even bother to order the Zeppole from the dessert menu. I paid the check and we walked out as quickly as we could.
