Ordered from here a few times and never had any issues. Will never be ordering again after tonight. Pizza came today with the dough half raw. I get it they were prob busy and it was an over site. I'm not one to complain or make a big deal but we couldn't even eat it this pizza. I asked for a refund through the slice app and received it. A few hours later the restaurant called me and accused me of doing this 3 or 4 other times and That they won't ever deliver to me. This was literally my first time I've ever asked for a refund from any restaurant. He then apologized and said it must be some other house near me. We stopped here for lunch while we were in the area. They offer thin crust pizza, soups, salads, wraps sandwiches, entrees and more. I was pleasantly surprised how extensive the menu is. We ordered two plain slices, a Margherita slice and a grilled calamari salad. The pizza was great, it had a good ratio of sauce to cheese (it was on the less saucier side), and the crust was thin and crispy. The calamari salad was delicious- the calamari had a slight char on it and the salad was a decently sized portion. Ambiance is casual and service is friendly. We will be back next time we're in Chester! read more

I just moved to Chester, so maybe everyone's standards are just very low in this town, but this place doesn't deserve 4 stars. The pizza tastes like rubber. The garlic knots were clearly not fresh. They were cold in the middle like they had just been reheated before I got there. Like really? It's literally bread, garlic, and butter! How hard could it be to throw together garlic knots? Everyone in the kitchen was socializing and being loud and obnoxious (without masks) and that kinda grossed me out. Very surprising that not only has this place not been Yelped yet, but it wasn't even listed on Yelp. What is up with that? I've been craving a good prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich since I've been back east. Dad and I were heading up to the Delaware Water Gap and stopped on the way in Chester to find some lunch. Italian deli? Ding ding ding ding. We have a winner. The menu looked good, but I didn't see anything resembling a prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich. The woman at the counter asked what we wanted and I asked her if she could do this sandwich and she said she could. I couldn't have been happier. Here it is. The meat and the cheese on a beautiful Italian roll with roasted red peppers, arugula and balsamic vinegar. Simple, yet oh so good. Dad had the same, but without the arugula. Aside from their large sandwich menu, they also offer pizza, calzones, salads, soups, pastas, chicken, seafood and sausage dishes. The most expensive item on the menu is under $19. Good Italian deli's mean so much to me. I haven't found one yet in my current home of Portland, OR, but it makes me happy that they are a dime a dozen in this part of the country. read more

stopped in for a couple slices on the way home from work. they were nice enough when I ordered. When the 2 plain slices were ready, the guy said that will be $5.30. I gave them $6 and got no change. the guy didn't ask, or even look at me. just counted it and put the $6 in the register. If you want a sandwich, get the John's Favorite (warmed): grilled chicken, mozz, roasted peppers, lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil and vinegar on a half sub. One of my favorite sandwiches ever. The salads are delicious and reasonably priced, too. I like mine topped with grilled calamari. Bella's is a reliable, reasonably priced Italian joint in the heart of Chester. Thin crust pizza. They have a good tasting sauce. But very greasy, which makes the pizza weigh down and soggy. My Sicilian was tasty, but again, soggy. The pasta fagioli was watery and not enough in the soup. A lil grease swimming on the top. Just not hearty enough IMO. The girl working the counter today was so friendly and helpful. We ate here on Monday and I was so disappointed. I paid 11.95 for a chicken marsala sub. The bread was small and even worse there was hardly any chicken or mushrooms in the bread. If you read my previous review you will see that I just got back from Philly. Why am I mentioning this? Well...when I was in Philly I visited Pat's Famous Steaks and let me tell you...Bella makes much, much better cheesteaks than Pat's. Bella really nailed it, great flavor, awesome bread and it was ready when I got there to pick it up. I have been eating at Bella's for a few years now. I can say they are consistently good. The place is always clean, my orders are always done in a timely fashion. They have a lot of good choices for pizza toppings and the staff is always friendly. If you live in the area and haven't tried their food, I suggest you get your butt over there and give them a try. I had Bella at 4 stars until just now when I called to order 2 cheesesteaks and they told me they ran out of rolls (hello, it's a Tuesday night). They were going to use focaccia bread instead. No thanks, that was a poor suggestion and would totally ruin the sandwich. Not cool at all. Hopefully, they will do something in the future to make me raise their rating, as for now, I'm pretty bummed. read more

In the Chester area this is my favorite pizza. We've been eating here once per week. The pizza is thin crust. The cheese and sauce are very tasty. We've had the eggplant parm pizza twice - delicious. Stopped on our way home tonight from Morristown I couldn't have been more disappointed. The slices we got where super greasy and crust was so thin you could barely hold it to eat it. Located on Main Street in Chester, it doesn't have much parking, there are two spots out front and 3 (with a handicap spot) on the side entrance. While they are a deli, I've only had take out pizza slices. There is room for about 10-15 people to eat in inside. They have a wide selection of sandwiches which I will try soon! The pizza is very thin, which I'm a fan of, but be careful if you reheat when you bring it home because the crust will burn quickly. During my last visit, I ordered a BBQ chicken slice, Plain white slice, White with Broccoli slice and plain cheese slice. The BBQ chicken is excellent and has a wonderfully smoky flavor. It's not overpowered by sauce or cheese and there is just the right amount of chicken. Make sure to cut this slice (gasp!) as it is thin and the toppings can weigh it down. The plain white was delicious as well, with a nice hint of garlic. The broccoli and white slice had the perfect amount of broccoli . The plain cheese, while it was greasy, was done to perfection. The total for the 4 slices was $13.90, which is reasonable as they were all premium slices except for one. The staff is very friendly and service is efficient. Only had the Margarita Gourmet Pizza , really expected more flavor. The thin crust was top notch, cheese too, but sauce and topping left me craving more flavor. It was "gourmet"... The restaurant probably has room to seat 20 or so... loved the tv, the refrigerator of drinks, open window, and ambiance... could use sun shades/blinds.... good family place with seating outside too...all the staff was friendly, super considerate and made for a pleasant experience. The sandwich menu did look enticing with some unique choices but didn't try any... maybe next time.... it may be worth a 2nd try. read more
