Customer for years disappointed by their business practices after choosing to cancel my contract mainly because there are no classes weeks out available for beginners I reached out and they said that's the only classes my contract is eligible so no need to pay for things I can't use even though I continued payment during covid trying to help patronize a local business thinking that like many places they will make allowances for the classes that were accumulating they did not gave three weeks when the gyms were closed for months to use all those credits no point in even bothering highly disappointed and it's sad because most of the instructors and people that work there are lovely friendly people read more

Oh my goodness, where to start?! I fell in LOVE with this place! I signed up for a Thursday "Newbie Pole Class" with Dee, and stayed for TWO MORE CLASSES that night, 3 total and left with buying a package (and was offered an awesome deal). These ladies know whats UP. They are the real deal. I've only has class with Dee thus far, but she encouraged me to try all their seasoned instructors as they all offer their own flavor. Within this time frame, I got hands on training, she met me at my very beginner level and the rest of the class seemed to be made up of regulars who were SO encouraging toward me. It felt amazing, and its why I stayed for 2 more classes. What an awesome community of people. Side note, I am a Yoga Teacher myself and two days later I have not been THIS SORE since YTT! I underestimated the idea of pole fitness as a serious workout, but it IS. It builds resilience, strength, flexibility, and upper body targeted strength like no other discipline Ive tried so far. Highly recommended whether you are a professional exotic dancer, you've never danced or moved in your life, if you're male or female, any skill level. As a new memeber of the 30 club I decided to celebrate my birthday at R&D. I booked a 3 hour pole and twerk party for myself and 13 favorite girls. When I tell you guys I wasn't ready man I wasn't ready. Very fun staff. Started ON TIME. They handle EVERYTHING. Super fun games and routines. Our host Coco had everyone up on the feet. Our pole dance instructor Kia was so sweet but baby worked the hell out of the pole. Then it was time to Turn Up with Britt for the twerk portion of the class. She has so much energy. Baby will teach u some things okuuurrrt. Overall my friends and I had the time of our lives. We are all looking to book classes in the future. I came to Romance and Dance for my birthday for a 2 hour pole party and had a fantastic experience. They have 12 poles total for 11 "divas" and the instructor. We learned a routine, did an obstacle course, and created our own routines to present to the class. At the end, I performed a solo dance as the birthday girl. It was so much fun, and I was definitely so happy after this experience. I recommend bringing heels. After the pole party, I bought some specialty classes at a discount price as part of the pole party. My favorite class was floor and chair work on Sundays at 3. Some of the instructors were sassy, late, or unprepared, but overall it was worth it for the discount price I received. To Romance and Dance, I would recommend is asking the instructors to create playlists before pole parties or classes since I noticed that some of them spend a lot of time on their phones figuring out what songs to play. For pole parties, they should ask the birthday girl, bachelorette, etc. what kind of music they like so they can create a playlist beforehand. I would have also liked to see the pole instructor do a dance for the pole party at the beginning of the session to show us her moves and skills. Overall, I loved this experience and would recommend it to others. It's an empowering activity for women to do together to bring out their confidence! read more

4 stars only because it can be hit and miss. I've been coming for about 4 weeks now & I do love the classes and the instructors are all very supportive I just wish it was more organized. The breakdown is usually 30 minutes of workout and 30 minutes of pole routine...this varies wildly by instructor. I've had one instructor only do some stretching for like 15 minutes and some actually push you to do a real workout. For me at least this makes it hard to feel like I'm consistently getting an actual workout. Also depending on the instructor there's a lot of time wasting because the instructor will be gossiping with another student in between calling out what we're supposed to be doing and I've seen one answer her personal phone during class while we all wait for the next move we're supposed to be doing. That's the stuff that makes it frustrating, but I will continue to come here because over all it's super fun and everyone is supportive of you learning the moves and finding your inner sexy. The class times are great because they're spread out throughout the day so you can always find a class. Again, over all my only gripe is wishing the instructors were all consistent/professional. read more

This place cool once when I found a group on. They called me to get a membership for $19, then I got sick about 2 months later and have beeen trying to cancel for over a year now. They keep taking my money even though I have emailed them and spoken to multiple people there who have told me it will be canceled and yet I am still being charged. I just wanted to say not only did I have fun, but my ENTIRE party did!  Romance and Dance was a friendly, sexy, and comfortable place.  My party was composed of ladies ages 18-51(college students, teachers, assistants, a principal, etc.) and we all felt comfortable to do a routine and play on the pole. What an incredible group of women! I came here with a bachelorette group and we joined a regular Saturday morning class. It was so much fun! The teacher was extremely encouraging, taught in a very thoughtful yet technical way and she made us feel so comfortable. The entire room gave the bride marriage advice and it was such a beautiful community of wonderful people. I plan to come back from time to time just for fun. Important things to know: a. It's expensive. Try to catch a deal if you can, but if you're for real serious enroll in auto pay. It's a little cheaper. b. This is NOT for people new to fitness. You have to have some endurance to get through the warmup. Unless you been doing pushups or lugging a kid around don't even think you can pull yourself around a pole! I heard they had a chair and stretching class so that may be a better first choice. I haven't worked out in a while and I couldn't pick myself off the pole OR keep up during the warmup! Yeah, embarrassing. I should have been in better shape before I enrolled! But I still had a good time! c. You should bring a yoga mat. They provide mats but they look kinda suspect. Just sayin'. d. There are professionals or whatever you call them, in your class. Some lady broke out with the clear stripper shoes. Others had on bathing suits and tights. I felt so modest showing up in exercise gear. I would at least wear tights next time. e. If they're running a special, try to go to an empty class early in the day when everyone's working. The less people, the more one on one attention. f. Go to the front. You can hear the teacher the best and keep up. I went when there was a deal going on so there were literally 30 people in the class. The class was intense and I got a good workout, which I was thoroughly unprepared for! I learned a couple of tricks, including the sexy walk. The hour flew by! I would definitely not go if the class has a lot of people in it, because you get lost in the mix. We could have also learned more sexy moves instead of practicing the moves over and over. I would definitely go again to try the smaller class size. 1 star off for high prices, poor music selection, and those pink mats. If you want to get fit while learning something instead of running, I would definitely come here. read more

I had the pleasure of meeting the LOVELY ladies from RM&D when I enrolled my grandmother and stepmother into their intro pole classes. Since starting pole fitness my grandma and stepmom have been really wanting to try some classes out, so this was the closes place to them. The location is convenient, the ladies are super sweet and spunky, and the place is just darn right adorable with all that PINK (my fav color). I'm pleased to say my grams and step mom are having the time of their lives learning to be sassy with them bad selves.. lol (my grams keeps trying to convince gramps to buy her a pole for the house!! I started taking the pole dancing classes here in the summer and so far I have done about 10 classes. At first it was pretty crowded with all the specials they had but this last week I went to a class with only 4 students and it was great! got one on one attention and did a whole routine and everything :) Firstly, you see all kinds of people here and when I first started I couldn't really hold myself up but the more you go the better you get. secondly, dress sexy! The instructors there give you the confidence for you to move and dress however you want. My self esteem wasn't really too high when I started but the more I did it the more confident I became. I even did it with heels once (tiring, but worth it) and i felt even better while spinning :) lastly, it IS a workout and some instructors work you out more than others but ultimately you get to work out the spots you need so you can advance on the pole :) read more

Me and my girls had a fantastic ball on our Ladies Night Out February 28th 2020 It was our first time at the nude sip N paint in Carson, Ca and baby let me tell you it was all worth the painting LOL. I also like that the owner of the venue added games and other things to the sip N paint because I thought we was just going to paint LOL. She is so very nice and sweet she makes you feel welcome like she been knowing you forever she had a bartender and food truck don't remember the bar name but the food truck was No Grease More Flavor and it was fresh, hot, and tasty. Still a wonderful way to get fit! I've been working out here on and off for two years now and I still receive great service like I'm a first time customer. My last instructor was Jhas, and she was a great teacher. She provided variety and differentiated her instruction based on our ability levels without boring people with repetitious instruction. I"m a big fan of this place. I just wish my scheduled allowed me to participate on a more regular basis. I highly suggest adding this form of exercise to your regular exercise regiment. It's an alternative way to exercise that produces instant results not only physically - I started developing Kelly Roland, Tina Turner arms by my third visit - it also leads to confidence and sexiness. Once I hit my first pole trick, I felt like, "Damn, if I can do this at 30-something, maybe I'm not turning into an old lady. Maybe I still got it!" LOL! read more

This was my first exposure to Pole fitness and I must say it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. I'm a plus size woman and of course I had tons of reservations about this place. With the encouragement of my wonderful co-worker (which happens to know Phee) I went. Had a blast!! Was the most fun I've ever had. Everyone is very nice and fun. I learned alot as well as gained strength in my arms. I have moved farther away so I no longer go to her classes, but I try to make all her graduations, which are a BLAST!! I must add that Phee, as well as all the other instructors make you feel at ease, it's sometimes quite a transition to find that "inner-vixen" and it can be awkward, but everyone is very encouraging and I really miss everyone there. Her business is growing exponentially and I recommend anyone to want that taste of pole fitness (or any other class)to see what her classes are about. I invited a friend to take a class with me after I saw a deal on Groupon. I was so impressed with the ladies who manage this studio. We arrived late, but our trainer Mel treated us the with utmost courtesy. The women taking the class were at different levels, but Mel took the time to address their concerns and illustrate the techniques without making us feel left out. Everyone was super supportive and I never really felt self-conscious or out of place. My only concern was that the class wasn't particularly strenuous, but my friend said her arms were definitely sore after. Regardless, this is the kind of studio I would look forward to attending weekly if it wasn't so far away. read more

Omggggg Anesia is the best instructor!!!! I took the intro to pole and also the butt muscle control specialty classes. Everyone was so bummed to do all the workout junk before the actual pole stuff which was so RAD because I hate hate hate feelin like the only full - blown lazy in the class. Anyhow, that said, after complaining and giving up on several of the exercises I STILL feel sore as a mofo and like I learned a ton. The warm ups we do get our bodys' ready for pole work. You start off with stretching and exercises to help your core and arms. Then you go into learning tricks and routines. Today was the 2 year anniversary and it was only $5 a class!! I took two classes in a row. So fun! The teachers were Briy and Phee. It was fun. We did 30 minutes of warm up and core and then 30 minutes of pole. Although it was a full class today (cuz of the deal), youdd learn a lot. It was fun doing routi E's and seriously, you get a great workout. The instructors and Dee in the front are great! They were friendly and really supportive. I totally recommend this place. Really great group of girls. :) The girls who go are also really great to each other. I felt supported while dancing and they really encourage you, Try this place out. Great place. read more
