Romanoff Renovations is the flooring contractor used by Home Depot. We looked at 3 companies for quotes to replace our carpeting with luxury vinyl plank. Home Depot's price was around the same as the other two and their quote was complete. Well, the quote looked good. Quality of the detail work is terrible. The quarter-round material is at least an inch wide, so it sticks out around the baseboards and door trim-- when it goes to the door trim. In some cases, it is short by almost an inch. The transition pieces are 6 mm thick, but don't sit flush to the floor, so they're too high for our iRobot j7+ to go over. At first glance, the floor looked good. Now, I'm looking at what we need to do to make the floor look the way it should for the $9,000 we paid. That doesn't count the two extra days it took the contractor took to do the haphazard job he did. read more

The flooring guys, Andrii & Victor arrived at my house on time every day and are working so efficiently to finish the whole house vinyl plank flooring installation (including wiping off the vinyl flooring and carpet) .... More than 2,000 sq feet ... It is all done in just about 2.5 days amazingly. Andrii put quarter rounds so nicely and precisely all the way over the baseboards .... The Romanoff installers are experienced and hardworking. They did a terrific job. Where we had a problem was not with Romanoff , who also installed flooring for us 5 years ago . It was the Home Depot connection. Home Depot -- both the store and pro desk -- advertised the product as available in a week. It took 3 weeks, causing Romanoff to reschedule us 2x and we had to reschedule the plumber 3x. Home Depot does a poor job as a prime. I would happily hire Romanoff with a different supplier! read more

We have had the unfortunate experience of being contracted with this pathetic company through The Home Depot on many carpet installs to some of my parents properties throughout the years. To keep it short, from the start of our experience there had been miscommunication between the company and The Home Depot and both refused to resolve an issue that was due to no fault of our own.
