    Cremora chicken

We were hungry and looking for a place to eat and we saw that this little restaurant on yelp and thought we would give it a try. There was no one dinning in when we arrived so we got to pick our seating. The waitresses were very kind and the place was very clean. We ordered Shrimp calamari for an appetizer. It came out really fresh and tasted amazing! The bread rolls tasted homemade and were also delicious. The reason I gave this restaurant 3 stars is because the food was kind of bland and tasted like it was not made with fresh ingredients. The chicken Picata had too many capers and was over powering and hard to eat. The Cremora dinner dish and that dish was great! The chicken Parm was soggy and the marinara sauce needed a little seasoning. I wouldn't mind giving it a second chance when I come back to visit and try some pizza.

Stop by on our way to Port A Food was nit good, no flavor, pasta was over cooked the only thing that tasted good was the garlic bread. I think is over priced for the quality of food that you get. I order shrimp scampi and only ate the shrimp

I have to rave about this hidden gem Italian restaurant in Beeville, Texas. Let me begin with the tantalizing aroma as I entered the restaurant. It totally excited my appetite. I ordered several items as I was placing a to go order for me and my family. 1st- I ordered the Chicken Milanese. It was spiced to perfection and large enough to feed 2+. 2nd- the calzone omg.. it was huge and stuffed with deliciousness. 3rd- the Philadelphia cheesesteak melted in my mouth. Finally, the homemade rolls.. oh so sinfully buttered and topped with garlic/parmesan. Wow!!! Roma's Italian Restaurant by far is the best tasting Italian food I've ever had! Absolutely delicious . Not only is the food great, so was the service, and staff. A definite must! I wish I would have taken pictures prior to indulging, but we could not wait. Love went into making our meal. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant for small town Beeville. Nice wine list - but not many in stock . We 3 had the lasagna, trio, and artichokes, mushrooms, and chicken.

What's left of my fried calamari to go with ranch dressing. It comes with marinara sauce but we substituted ranch.

The fried calamari is some of the best I ever had! And I've had a lot of different restaurant's calamari.

Calzone. Inside is meaty cheesy goodness.

The…read moremeal started with fresh, hot garlic rolls -- perfectly soft and flavorful, and with butter already on the table it was so easy to enjoy them right away. A simple tossed salad followed, crisp and refreshing, just the right lead-in for the main event. And oh, that main course! I ordered the Veal Marsala with veggies, and it was absolutely outstanding -- rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Each bite had me smiling, and it was the kind of dish that makes you want to slow down and savor it. The staff here deserves their own round of applause. My server was attentive and kind, and when it came time to pay, the lady at the counter was so friendly it felt like leaving a friend's house after dinner. This little gem has won me over completely. When I pass through Cuero again, there's no question -- I'll be back at La Bella Tavola without a doubt.

I imagined on Valentine's Day that the atmosphere would be more pleasant but it was completely lifeless inside. There was no music playing and practically no one speaking to each other, making it quite awkward for my friends and I. We started with a very underwhelming Caesar salad, to say it was average would be a lie. We then bit into very obviously frozen mozeralla sticks with no flavor and a rubbery texture. Our pasta dishes were painfully plain, with the lasagna not even being layered, sauce that had no flavor, and an overwhelming amount of rubbery cheese. I understand this is a small town and suppliers likely don't provide the best options. However, I was actually angry when I ordered FOCACCIA and received a French roll cut down the middle and covered in more rubbery cheese. I suppose whoever made the menu has just never had focaccia anywhere else and assumed it means cheesy bread in Italian. Not to mention my server tried to charge me twice for it. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Cuero do yourself a favor and go to Whataburger, Taqueria Jalisco, or pick up a frozen lasagna from HEB if you are really craving Italian. Quite frankly this was the worst italian food I've ever had, I'm sorry to say.

The second time was with the current owner and the eggplant parmigiana was good but the pasta sampler was very bland. We waited several months to give it another shot as we know things could improve. We ordered fried calamari, supreme pizza and baked Tuscany. They were out of the fried calamari, it happens, but it seems like a reoccurring incident with many items as the waitress told the table behind us they were out of many items. My husband had the pizza and said it was good but the dough was not cooked all the way through and he could barely hold a slice because it was soggy. My pasta was very good, big portion. The bread rolls were probably my favorite part, very good and while they don't give oil with them the Parmesan and pepper flakes on the table were enough. The poor waitress was very overwhelmed with a large crowd tonight, she needs an additional person handling the drinks and check out counter. She did her best but forgot many orders and drink orders and returned to the table to re ask or confirm. My advice to her is to always bring her notepad, take some anxiety medicine, and wear some lavender. The owner/ chef in the kitchen, some advice would to ditch the menu entirely and have daily specials only! Have 6 meals available at all times rotate your dishes and a soup and salad combo always available. Go back to a simpler menu until it's manageable and then you can grow your team and add more options. Your portions are big and food is okay, it will be easier, better, more efficient, and quality will improve when you limit your menu. Overall for decent food, long waits, and an underwhelming place to eat out, give it a shot. Next time I'll be going to the seafood place next door. (P.S. The water has a chlorine taste to it, not sure if this is all of Halletsville but if so the city needs to update its filtration! The chlorine lingering behind soft drinks at every restaurant is awful.)

It was warm to start but the AC caught up in a reasonable time. Ma enjoyed the usual house salad with the rest of us and a dish of meatballs since she's given up carbs; was very satisfied with the flavor/texture. Her husband ordered his absolute usual, the fettuccine chicken alfredo. I can truthfully swear in court he HAS actually tried and enjoyed other dishes, but I think he himself has forgotten that fact. Mr R, eating vegetarian this day, had the eggplant parmigiana which still had a lovely crisp on it and enough sauce/cheese to complement without becoming overwhelming. The last 2/5 of his plate was full of spaghetti marinara and he cleared the entire thing even after a sub at Angellis for lunch. I had the chicken cacciatore for the first time in a while, and while warned it was a little spicy found it was a lovely gentle heat. The chicken cutlets do seem a little smaller since the last time but I could be wrong. The basket of rolls, in contrast, was ginormous. I don't think I recall being served that many for a party of four here, but again. Perhaps I misremember. Naim took great care of us in between the other tables and several to go orders. He always does and he loves a clean table. No one had room for dessert and we didn't win the fight for the tab so I can't tell you the actual price. Took home that mountain of fresh rolls and they fed Mr R and myself the entire next day just enjoying buttered rolls, tomato sandwiches, and using up leftovers in the fridge like brisket and the rest of my chicken cacciatore. We lingered a long time catching up and no one rushed us. Bathroom is aged but clean. The side salad was just the right size, and as usual, the meal came with their rolls, which are chewy, tasty, and filling. The service was likewise quick and friendly. My spouse ordered the malbec, but they were out, so she asked for merlot, and so the server recommended the cabernet sauvignon, but that is a minor nitpick. All told it's good, quality Italian food for Seguin, Texas.
