As usual, this was a convenient meeting point with the parents in the course of Mr R's visit. We met on a weekday afternoon, tons of available parking and perhaps a half dozen seated parties from young families to retirees when we entered. It was warm to start but the AC caught up in a reasonable time. Ma enjoyed the usual house salad with the rest of us and a dish of meatballs since she's given up carbs; was very satisfied with the flavor/texture. Her husband ordered his absolute usual, the fettuccine chicken alfredo. I can truthfully swear in court he HAS actually tried and enjoyed other dishes, but I think he himself has forgotten that fact. Mr R, eating vegetarian this day, had the eggplant parmigiana which still had a lovely crisp on it and enough sauce/cheese to complement without becoming overwhelming. The last 2/5 of his plate was full of spaghetti marinara and he cleared the entire thing even after a sub at Angellis for lunch. I had the chicken cacciatore for the first time in a while, and while warned it was a little spicy found it was a lovely gentle heat. The chicken cutlets do seem a little smaller since the last time but I could be wrong. The basket of rolls, in contrast, was ginormous. I don't think I recall being served that many for a party of four here, but again. Perhaps I misremember. Naim took great care of us in between the other tables and several to go orders. He always does and he loves a clean table. No one had room for dessert and we didn't win the fight for the tab so I can't tell you the actual price. Took home that mountain of fresh rolls and they fed Mr R and myself the entire next day just enjoying buttered rolls, tomato sandwiches, and using up leftovers in the fridge like brisket and the rest of my chicken cacciatore. We lingered a long time catching up and no one rushed us. Bathroom is aged but clean. In Seguin's collection of several great Texmex and bbq establishments plus franchise locations, this is one of the independent places that offers welcome variety. read more

This time I had the Eggplant Parmesan. It was great. The breading on the eggplant was crispy and delicious, the medallions on their own were huge, and it came with a generous side of spaghetti and marinara. The side salad was just the right size, and as usual, the meal came with their rolls, which are chewy, tasty, and filling. The service was likewise quick and friendly. My spouse ordered the malbec, but they were out, so she asked for merlot, and so the server recommended the cabernet sauvignon, but that is a minor nitpick. Wow. FINALLY found an Italian restaurant worthy of multiple visits! Decided to stop by here on the way home from our son's baseball game in SA. We were seated right away (Friday night - 645pm). There were quite a few tables full, however, the noise was very minimal. The service was absolutely exceptional (just husband and wife as servers this evening). We ordered the Mozarella sticks as an appetizer (son's favorite app), a 14" pepperoni pizza, chicken parmesan, and chicken piccata. The food was out SUPER fast, and cooked to perfection. The rolls were amazing as well, hot & fresh! Our son didn't want to stop eating the pizza, however he finally did so he wouldn't be "uncomfortable" (which is fine with me so we can have the leftovers). My husband and I finished our dishes leaving nothing to bring home from them. The portion sizes were absolutely perfect on both mine and my husbands dishes. Definitely worth the price without question. If you're looking for some tasty Italian food and excellent service, his is your spot. Lint let its location/exterior deter you. Definitely a hidden gem. I've dined here many times and found the food and service to be very good, but their takeout is very disappointing Tonight I ordered takeout and for the second time was very disappointed. Most of the pasta was burned to the bottom of the aluminum container and the meals had shifted to one side due to the way they were bagged. We stopped in here on a Sunday night for supper. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice and helped me decide between 2 dishes. I ordered the Chicken Rollatini which came with a Side Salad. The Champagne sauce was the bomb dot com. I ate all my pasta up first because it was so good I couldn't stop eating it once I started. The stuffed chicken was stuffed with big chunks of delicious crab meat. The dish as a whole was quite flavorful and tasty. Their Caesar salads is very fresh and delightful. Fresh rolls are yummy with just enough buttery goodness that we did not add any more. Spaghetti works came out nice and hot. The sauce seems a bit thin vs more traditional spagetti sauces but the taste is good. Maybe a little chili powder as a secret ingredient? Hubby says the salmon piccata was excellent. The salmon was nicely done with just just barely crispy edges and the sauce was very very good. Big ol fat capers. Service is very nice. The interior is beautifully painted ceiling to floors. Decided to try Giuseppe's as we were passing through for the night. As soon as we entered and heard the owner and waiter I was sure we would have a true authentic Italian meal and they didn't disappoint. We had a wonderful chicken fettuccine Alfredo and Italian fresh baked rolls. Both were wonderful especially the Alfredo sauce Our Caesar salad was very good and we finished it a slice of limoncello cake which was excellent. Our waiter was excellent as well. Friendly and efficient without being hovering. In fact, Everyone who worked there was friendly greeting us and saying goodbye as well. This was the weirdest dining experience ever. My family is staying at an Airbnb in Seguin and looked for Italian food in the area. This place has pretty good reviews overall so we decided to go for dinner this Saturday night. The parking lot was empty, the restaurant had one other couple there. Coming from Houston, most places are packed on a Saturday evening at 7pm. The service was great, they were super quick. But, the food tasted like microwaved frozen dinners. It was sooooo weird. The food is really good. The house salad dressing is delicious. Definitely homemade. The bread they give out looks and tastes homemade as well. The food reminds me of homemade Italian food. Like real Italian. Not the American-Italian a lot of people are used to. This isn't Olive Garden. The server people have complained about in other reviews? She actually is very nice! Try speaking to her and asking her real questions. She smiles and is super friendly. I asked her for something & she didn't fully understand, but she came back out with it less than a min later. She just....European. (Plus after working in the industry, I can say, a lot of people don't realize just how they *actually* speak to their servers. And seem shocked when their attitude is returned to them.)Be nice and polite, and you'll get it in return! The table next to us was also raving about the food to each other. Nice ambiance. Food was good, just not great. It was a nice halfway point for family to meet here and I would go back. Our table had chicken parm, pizza, and chicken primavera. We also had limoncello and Italian cream cake for dessert. Food came out fairly quickly. We had several times we wanted the waiter (the owner) but he was busy. There were too many tables for one waiter on a Friday night. I think he needs to hire another waiter at least for the busy dinner hours on weekends. read more

The food seemed fresh cooked and tasted great. Absolutely no complaints. The service did a really great job. You can tell by the amount of work that went into the dining room, that the owners really care about this place. These people deserve more of our business and we will definitely come back. The only thing I would say is the restroom could use some work. It was clean, just needs some maintenance. The soap dispenser didn't work, a faucet didn't work, a toilet was out of order ect. Just come out and support this local business so they can make the improvements that they need. Also, best pizza in town in my opinion. When traveling I like to try mom and pop restaurants over chains when I can, so I went here instead of IHOP or chilis. The food is just ok, the inside was clean but outdated, the service was pretty good, the outside is not very welcoming at night. Obviously they are pinching pennies so be ready for salt, pepper, and Parmesan in little individual packets instead of shakers, tiny little butter squares, etc. Ordered the chicken parm dinner which came with bread and a salad. The bread was pretty good, I asked for Caesar dressing which came on regular lettuce mix not Romain with no croutons and a shredded cheese mix, and the chicken was decent. The spaghetti served with the chicken was really bad, definitely cheap premade sauce and noodles. I'd probably try a pizza the next time I'm in town but wouldn't have my hopes up. read more

In the rural town of Seguin, TX, we found a local Italian restaurant nearby the hotel to satisfy our hunger. It was a bit of a gamble as the previous reviews were not stellar however we understood the need to lower our expectations as we were not in a major metropolitan area. The decor is a few decades behind but we were immediately seated and service was prompt. This was perfect because we were hungry. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and others in my family ordered the lasagna, spaghetti and beef ravioli. Overall, we rate the food a 4/5. If this restaurant was back home (in the city) I would give it a 3 however I'm managing my expectations for this rural town. As we left, we did ask ourselves if we should've choose the Chili's down the road but ultimately decided we made the right choice. My daughter got the alfredo, I got the Stromboli, and my other kiddo took to the free bread like a wild animal lol My daughters shrimp Alfredo was ok, sauce was a bit thin but had no seasoning. Even with adding more cheese :/ but we took it home and doctored it up, it was good then. My Stromboli was lovely and huge. I liked it. Couldn't finish it so I took it home. This is Seguin's only Italian restaurant (not counting pizza joints.) Being locals, we have eaten here several times over a multi-year period. I'm no authority on Italian food, but I find theirs to be at least in the top 20% of what I have eaten. We were waited on by what appeared to be a native Italian couple, and if true, that might explain the quality of the food, since they conveyed a feeling of ownership. Hot bread accompanies the meal, and it is pretty good, though a couple of years ago it was so good you over-indulged on it. Today we shared the Chicken Ala Casa, which combines mushrooms and onions in an Alfredo sauce. Very rich and very good. We each had a salad with house dressing, which was similar to a Catalina, but had garlic and s sweet tangy taste which we both complimented. The building has been here many years and is nothing exceptional, but they have decorated the interior with murals, including one right out of the Godfather. read more

I wish I had read the bad reviews like I usually do. Stayed at the hotel behind the restaurant and we figured we would give this place a try. We should have gone to chili's, but figured we would try to support a local joint. Whoops. Walked in and we were seated immediately. About 5 minutes later a waitress came to ask for our drink order. Could barely hear or understand the waitress as she doesn't speak good English. Not her fault, but it was like we got an attitude when we asked her to repeat stuff. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the manicotti. Salads were less than desirable. About 10-12 pieces of lettuce and 1 tomato. Not good at all. Order came out in about 7 minutes. Sauce was bland and pretty much tasted like out of the can. Meatballs you could tell are not made fresh at all, probably frozen honestly. Manicotti was 2 small rolls and that's about it. Not much to be desired at all. Bread was decent. Sad when the bread was the best part of the meal. Came time to get the check and we literally waited 15 minutes for the waitress to finally ask if we needed anything and we said just the check. It was like we had to beg to pay for the food. Lastly they have a sign outside that says air conditioned. Was really warm in there and they even had a portable fan setup at the cash register. Our first visit here and from the outside this restaurant really feels like a shifty nightclub you don't want to hangout in the parking lot of. But the interior was very presentable and boasted a really well sized dining room with a bar, and a stainless steel clad kitchen. There was some Tuscan style painting on the walls and ceiling plus a mural of notable people like the godfather and good fellows by the bar. Our waiter Niam (sorry if I butchered the spelling) was so pleasant and provided top notch service. He gave us recommendations, kept drinks full, and even apologized that we had to wait for our check (they got busy) while personally boxing my leftovers to go. The food was well presented, salads actually served on chilled plates, rims of plates were clean and everything was neatly put together. We were served tasty bread and butter. The calamari appetizer was cooked to a nice supple and crunchy texture and had a nice half lemon for garnish. My husband had the shrimp Alfredo and I took our servers suggestion on the chicken piccata (I was torn on between dishes). Our food was served with extremely generous portions and no shortage on sauce (possibly a tad overboard but we definitely couldn't complain). Although plates were between $14-$24 I was happy to have a portion to take home but I'd definitely recommend splitting with someone or kiddos on the adult plates if leftovers aren't your thing or just forget the appetizers. Really positive experience and their menu boasted some good seafood choices along with veal. The restaurant started to fill up as 6pm hit so if you are an early diner you would probably enjoy the speedy service. The vaulted ceiling did make for a noisy experience the busier it got. I didn't see any meatballs on the menu but may have overlooked them. Overall our first experience was excellent and I conveyed my compliments upon checkout.
