I enjoy this Roma's for several reasons: A whole cheese steak was $11 with tax and it is always meaty and flavorful. It's close to home. The quality is the same whether I eat in or carry out. No frills, regular pizza joint, lots of slice options for a quick meal. Clean, not very noisy, easy location to access as it is in a shopping center with a grocery store. Convenient place to grab a quick meal before hitting one of three grocery stores here. We go here mostly for a late afternoon lunch then shopping. Slices are good. Crust is usually just that nice soft and slight chewy thin. Salads are plentiful. Cannot go wrong here. read more

We order Pizza from this Roma's because it's normally cooked through..Unlike the one in Red Lion that serves cheese on dough. Tonight we had a stromboli. Doughy. Flavorless and the Greek Salad didn't come with what was advertised. No dressing, no cucumber, no olives, no onion. It did have carrots? Carrots? Over 10 bucks for a bunch of FETA cheese on lettuce and tomato's..No one in York and/or surrounding areas does pizza correctly....Maybe Copper Crust or Paesano's. Roma's is one of our favorite pizza places to enjoy when we visit family in Dallastown (York). They deliver and compared to the chain pizza places who also deliver, Roma's tastes more like a hometown, authentic pizza experience. On my short list of best pizza shops in Dallastown/York, Roma's is at the top. Their sauce is sweet and their pizza slices are huge! Pizzas from Roma's tend to be thinner crust, so while its delicious, it goes way too fast and you may find that you'll want 3-4 slices to feel like you've gotten a full portion. Along with pizza, I'd recommend trying a stromboli sometime too. The price is about what you'd pay at a chain delivery pizza shop, but you get something that tastes unique - I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great pizza! read more

We won't order from any Roma's ever again. We stopped ordering from the Cape Horn location because the food was gross but we decided to give this location a try. It took over an hour for our food to be delivered, which okay it was a Friday night so I'm sure they were very busy. But then our fries were so old that we couldn't even eat them! My boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger wrap and received a sub instead with bacon which he didn't order. I hate to be the person to call and complain but it was just so bad we couldn't eat the majority of our food. The young man on the phone said "Well I took that order and he definitely ordered a sub." Which he didn't at all because I was sitting beside him when he called the place the order... but anyway they did give us a credit but we decided to not even use it. We're just going to stay away from all the Roma's. They're really going down hill. read more

The food has always been great. I'm usually a plain ole cheese pie type guy. And they never disappoint. Tradional Stromboli is another go to for me. The house made red sauce is clutch. By far the best pizza in the area in my opinion. We eat here once to three times a week. I live in York now so it's a small drive but worth it. Justin and his family are good people. The pizza can be a little hit or miss as some mentioned. Depending on whose making it. But if you were to speak up they wouldn't have an issue making it right for you. The cheesesteaks are amazing. The bread is all home-made daily. I could eat the bread alone and still enjoy it. Finally the bolis. Man are they good. My gf wants a boli daily after trying one. Great restaurant with several locations in the area. This is just a small shop and not a place I would reccomend for a sit down family dinner unless you don't mind sitting in cramped booths, but then again they do not try to come off as a sit down restaurant either. This is a pizza/sub shop where you order at the counter and pick up the order, although occasionally I have had the food brought to the table when they aren't too busy. Now onto the most important part, the food. I have been getting food here for at least the last ten years, and I have to be honest and say it's been a few years since I've gotten the pizza here. This is not a reflection on the pizza though, as they have some pretty tasty pie. This actually says more about their subs(grinders or hoagies depending on where you're from). This place has some of the best bread, baked fresh daily. It definitely makes for a great sub. There are numerous choices for subs as well, including hot and cold subs and several parmigiana subs. One of my favories is the sausage parm. The bread is also used for the garlic bread. I reccomend getting the garlic bread with cheese. Another of my favorites are the strombolis. They have several options as far as the fillings, but they are all good. Italian dinners are also available here. I've had some of those meals and have never had a reason to complain. You can also get appetizers here, which is you typical pizza/sub shop appetizer selection. Wings, cheese fries, fried mushrooms, onion rings. In my opinion, a great place to stop for lunch, but for dinner I would either do delivery or carry out. They always have great lunch specials at low prices. Overall they are very reasonably priced and I would reccomend this place to anyone. Also a special thanks to the drivers that still deliver to me even though I'm technically a fraction of a mile outside their advertised delivery area. read more

Went to Roma's for the first time tonight during the dallastown Halloween parade. Ordered a cheese steak and chicken steak boli. My boyfriends cheese steak came out but I had to wait another 15 minutes for my boli. I've never gone to a place that served part of the table. However once it finally came out it was very delicious. Ate here for the first time in years. We split a pizza and a cheesesteak. The pizza was horrible - dry crust, hardly any sauce, cheap cheese, grayish colored sausage, and sweet green peppers that looked like they were previously frozen. The cheesesteak wasn't much better. My family and I order from Roma's all the time. It's a Ma Pa pizza shop, so the pizza doesn't always look the same , but it always taste delicious. I am very particular with my food, and they do their best to make sure it is exactly the way I like it. The delivery guys are great!
