Best pizza ever! I have tried every pizza place around Oceanside and all of them big or small were gross. Roma's pizza is affordable, great taste, and fresh ingredients. I love their sauce! It's not sweet like some places, it's perfect and not over seasoned. I always order for pick up and the owner is always very nice and friendly. My pizza is never burnt or soggy. I've ordered their giant pizzas a few times for parties and they have always been a great hit. I ordered a salad a few days ago and I was scared it would be brown or soggy and it was perfect, fresh, and crisp. I'm really happy I found this place and that they are close by. Great delivery pizza and we tried their sandwiches, salads, wings, and spaghetti as well. We had to feed a large group while we were getting ready for the holidays. They told me it would take an hour and it did, but the food was great and certainly worth the wait. I would rather plan ahead and get quality food instead of the quick delivery corporate choices. The salads are LARGE so figure that 2 or 3 people can share a salad. We will definitely use them again and are glad that we found a great place in the area where my son just moved. This joint has been opened for about six years and I just found out about it last week. Why? The dough is what makes the pizza taste so delicious , yes. The size of the toppings are big so you get nice chunks of whatever you order. I will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Outstanding customer service and delicious food. The spaghetti and meatballs is my favorite. It comes topped with mozzarella cheese and a side of garlic bread. We ordered from here last night since our neighbors love this place we figured we'd give it a shot. We ordered a 20in pizza which was definitely more then enough for us. The pizza is definitely some of the best we've had around here which is usually Little Ceasars lol the only reason they get 4 stars is because of the delivery time. This pizza place is close to me, so is Little Caesars but I choose quality over price. Romas is a nice little place, plenty of options for topping on the pie and always comes out a little greasy (which I like). The kids working here are cool and friendly, they are always working and never standing around. This shows me that they take pride in not only the product, but the appearance of the shop itself. Worst experience ever!!! I do not recommend this place not only did they forget my order they said they would come in 20 minutes and came in 40. The delivery guy was not nice at all. And to top it all off the food was barley warm and wasn't all that good. I would never recommend this place and will not come again. As much as I think the pizza at Roma's is unparalleled in North county, a lot can be said about the service. The guy on the other end was rude, he was more interested in whispering to someone next to him instead of listening to the order the first time I said it. But the real problem is the supposed opening time, which is meant to be 11, but it takes 2 hours to heat the ovens ( which starts just after 11 ) meaning no delivery until 1 and the most ridiculous: no pick up till 1230. If you need to do that, either put a later open time or take care of this stuff before you actually open. Also, more than half of what I was trying to order was unavailable. I don't understand why these things are on the menu if they are not available week after week. read more

I do eat this place from time to time because they are one of the few places that deliver to my house, takes a hour and a half. They're regular pizza is not good, but the specialties are. I like the spinach pizza. I often order the fried shrimp, but they don't always have it. It's not very clean at all, rather dirty actually! read more

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and they never disappoint. Today we ordered calzones via the phone. The order taker warned us the wait would be 45 minutes. We waited the 40 mins before even leaving to go pick up and when I arrived 5 mins later the order wasn't even in the oven. The wait was longer than anticipated today, but we've been coming for years and never had this issue. After an additional 20mins we got the order. The manager was amazingly kind, apologetic, and he remembers us each time we come. Definitely makes us feel welcome and appreciated. He even gave a discount to make the situation better. Once I couldn't wait to get home to enjoy my food because it smelled so good. The crust was nice a crispy. Just the right amount of ingredients every bite was full with my toppings. It was perfect. Have been eating here for 8 years always delivery, never have had anything that was not good. The pasta Alfredo with chicken is the best! The pizza's are perfect worth the price, crust is special like eating your favorite bread! The toppings all fresh, abundant and the cheese is quality! The grilled chicken salad feeds two or more and is so crisp and fresh I ate it on a Monday for the 3rd time.( bought it Saturday) still crisp and fresh! If you are lucky enough to order early, ( as this sells out every day) their lasagna is awesome! Now get this I have never had a wrong order delivered,that is special. Ordering Friday/ Saturday nights, plan ahead, delivery time could be an hour or more.
