Ordered a pizza tonight asked to leave at my door and just ring bell. Order was late wondering what happend to my order so thought I'll check porch order was sitting there for I don't know how long long enough for my entire order to be completely cold. They never rang bell or called or nothing. I call and complain they say they will send me a remake. The manager calls me back ten minutes later and says her driver says he knocked and rang bell. I say this is a condo and my wife was sitting to feet from front door so if he's saying that he is a liar. She's says he is not a liar and the she doesn't know where we where in the house that we didn't hear the door. So she Basically called me back 10 minutes later and called me a liar instead of remaking my food with a disrepctull tone mind you. I'm a restaurant gm for over twelve years and would never call one of my customers back and behave this way and call them I liar. I've been here about 5 times for carryout. the first 2 times were great we ordered a cheese/greek sailor and they came out wonderful - I was so happy to finally have found a good pizza place! Unfortunately, the last 3 times the pizzas came to us with no flavor and very very greasy where I ended up having a bad stomachache after eating. The menu is also very intimidating there are way too many pizzas to choose from. This place should be careful another competitor just might come to this area (me) who actually knows how to make a good pizza. There's definitely an art to it, but it's not rocket science to create an edible pizza. I tried this place for the first time yesterday and had it delivered to me because I'm sick and can't really leave. It took almost 2 hours to show up which is crazy for a Tuesday afternoon at 2 pm. Especially since I didn't order very much. I'm not sure why it took so long for the food to leave the restaurant, but when I finally got it, everything was cold :( I don't necessarily like giving low ratings for service, so I'm giving this place a 4 since the food was actually pretty good. Very hearty Italian food with plenty of menu options and delicious entrees. Great casual dining location for family and friends. Gnocchi with Shrimp was tasty. They definitely load the plates and you will be stuffed. Great customer service and clean environment. The Romeo's in Edmonds is a complete shit show! I've been a long time customer & have never seen so many staff leave, due to Marianne the older lady. She is not cut out for the front of the house! The phone rings and she just stands and looks at the phone, like she is not responsible for answering it! I have seen to-go orders sit for 15 plus minutes while the guest are waiting...Get it together! You staff as has left due to this older lady Marianne and now the regulars! It's sad to see this happen to a long time restrauants that your regulars no longer want to stop in and visit! Now you want to get rid of HH and the staff we like, that is why most of us come! By the way the food is good and your servers are awesome, but the older lady has to go she is not hostess material! read more

Tried this restaurant last night since there's fond memories here with the previous owners. Soon as we entered (Friday night around 7) we noticed it was very dead, which was a flag. Staff was rather cold, without any friendly manner. Simply taskful. When I specified no cheese on the first half of my meal, the waitress agreed. However, on the second half, my meal was served covered in cheese that wasn't on the menu description. Not sure if waitress was new or simply didn't care, but seemed like something an experienced waitress would have asked about when I ordered, given the knowledge and situation. I ended up having to scrape the entire top layer off my meal, which the waitress was obviously disgusted by when I refused a to go box. Food was bland, pasta menu is basically two options. Drinks are cans, no refills. Gyro was smaller than previously, meal was mostly fries. While there are excellent memories of the prior ownership, the new experience was terrible. Cold, non personable, and disappointing. Definitely won't be returning. read more

Food took 1 hr to get to the table and they still had the plates wrong. 3. Served the garlic bread cold 4. The food was super bland and it tasted off. Too much oil or butter. It was dripping off the noodles in the shrimp fettuccine and chicken fettuccine. My baby sister fries from the chicken strips on the children's menu tasted better seasoned and less oily then the 4 plates of pasta we got. Do not go here for lunch in the winter. The dining room is very cold. I asked for the heat to be turned up, and the very nice server (manager?) said the owner says not to do that, and that it is cold in there since it takes a long time to warm up. I suggested they get a programmable thermostat to get it started earlier, and she said they have one, but the owner says not to touch it. So, basically, have lunch there while freezing? We changed our order to go only because we had already ordered. We won't go back until warmer weather next year. Too bad, because the food and service is generally pretty good. read more

Nope. This is not good. After reading the reviews I was expecting some really good italian food, but we received subpar blah food that lacked flavor. We started with the calamari which was super greasy and the aoli was a thick glob of mayo with lemon in it. Yuck. Then we both had the baked tortellini with meat filling. The tortellini was pretty ok but the sauce was thin and lacked basically any flavor. We left unsatisfied and $50 lighter. Next time we are in Edmonds and want italian we'll go to Girardis. read more

It was actually my second choice in the area (my first, Sorelli Pizza, was closed). I was a little hesitant when I walked inside with my friend and realized we were the youngest people in there by a good 30 years. We ordered two garden salads with Italian dressing and split a medium Romeo's Special pizza. The salads were pretty good, but the pizza was fantastic! Nice, soft crust, delicious cheese, well-cooked meats on top, and roasted tomatoes on top. I had to stop myself from devouring the entire pie! I was actually eyeing the lasagna and other pasta choices, so I'm glad I went with my instinct for pizza. Such a great find! Wait staff was super attentive and friendly. And young! Haha. The restaurant is located in a small strip that has plenty of parking. Don't be scared of the geriatrics. I promise they don't bite. read more

This is my family's absolute favorite place to eat pizza. I love how cheesy the pizza is, but it's not cheesy to the point where I get a headache. It's frustrating considering all going on that they wouldn't wear masks even for food preparation. I love this place! The food is always great and the staff is always friendly. I come here often so they know me by name now! I usually get their salads and calamari. I have tried calamari at a lot of places and this is by far the most greatest. Small tender rings. I stress tender, not the chewy over battered that is usually out there. It's a great place for pizza too! Better than average and served on a pedestal. $21+ for the biggest most expensive. And totally awesome. I would say more great things soups and pastas are always a go to food for my friends. Love the specials like spaghetti diablo with prawns sea scallops fresh mussels clams and Alaskan ling cod. I've never heard of this place until I searched for nearest delivery around my area while I was at wrk. The food was amazing! I ordered the baked spaghetti and calamari. Baked spaghetti comes with salad with ur choice of dressing and bread sticks. Delivery didn't take long at all and was on time with the estimated time that they gave me. I'm only rating this place a 4 out of 5 because I ended up finding some type of shell tht looked like a shrimp peeling in my calamari as I bit down on it. Loved the food, there seems to be option(s) for dairy free, thete was a pasta dish with just garlic and olive oil. Nom. I'm not positive, but I think they'd work with you if you didn't want dairy? We ordered a calamari appetizer, it was perfectly cooked and lightly battered. Too often places use a ton of batter so you can't actually taste the calamari, but these were great. My friend ordered a pizza on special, the toppings were generous and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the gyro platter, which was stuffed full of well-seasoned gyro. The fries were thick cut and crispy with a light seasoning. Service was friendly and attentive. Our biggest surprise was how empty the restaurant was, at the lunch hour on a weekend there was only 2 other parties in the restaurant during our meal. read more

This is probably one of my favorite Italian places. It's in my hometown. I came back for the first time in probably 5 years and this place is still amazing. The portions here are pretty big and pastas normally come with soups or salads. I love the Fettuccini Alfredo here. It's super creamy and has just enough salt to taste. It also makes really good dipping sauce with bread. The chicken parmesan is also delicious. Theres a good amount of chicken, cheese, and flavorful sauce. I wish they had this in Seattle. There's no better pizza in Edmonds/Lynnwood. It's Romeo's or your settling for something else. This review is simply for their food. My family enjoys many of the other dishes, but I'm a sucker for the pizza every time. Fam loves the gyros and pasta dishes consistently. I have lived next door to Romeo's for several years now and I have mostly ordered their delicious pizzas. Some of the best pizza I've had anywhere let alone Edmonds. However today I ordered their Chicken Alfredo and requested they add their spicy sausage. They did all of that!! And I must say it was DIVINE!! Their serving size is huge and they did not skimp on the chicken and spicy sausage! I never write reviews but I had to give them credit especially during a pandemic. Kudos Romeo's!! The House Special that I ordered had tomatoes listed but they were a slice of sorry looking chunk of tomato on each slice that was pretty awful.
