Michelada mix made in house. Bartender was nice enough to make mine like they do in Mexico - without the tomato or Clamato.

Food was good - quality ingredients and served hot. Breakfast is served until 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. $4.95 mimosas all day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a DJ with good music playing on Sunday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be back on a weekend to try the pozole.

We had an amazing experience (per usual), the food was delicious and full of flavor! I ordered the special chilaquiles with eggs over easy and cecina on top -- chef's kiss! The green salsa had just the right kick, and the cecina was perfectly seasoned. We also tried the Pollo Limón recommended by the manager, which was tender and rich. Would get again! The service was 10/10! Friendly, fast, and super attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the whole vibe of the place just feels warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely one of my favorite local spots!

My Pambazo tasted great i really liked the flavor of the sauce on the french bread, the seasoning of the chorizo and potatoes was great. I opted for french fries instead of rice and beans during my visit. The staff is very friendly, very attentive and always ready to assist you, i didn't even have to ask for water they brought it out as soon as we sat down, awesome service. I decided to try the tres leches but was pretty disappointed, that was definitely not tres leches at least not the moist version im used to. Instead it was more of cheesecake/flan consistency which is usually not how tres leches should be in my opinion. Overall pretty good spot i enjoyed my main dish unfortunately i live pretty far from here but if ever in the area i'd stop by again.

I will tell you this: Romero's Las Brazas is *not* the best food you'll ever have; HOWEVER, the charm, hospitality, and care this place puts into the experience you'll have is very nearly unmatched. Looking through the reviews, I was iffy on if I should visit. What sold me was a review of someone saying they came back to visit this joint after THIRTEEN YEARS. If a restaurant can stick in your mind for over a decade, I'd have to say they must be worth a try. And this place most definitely is. From the moment the custom wooden door opened, the entire dining room was vibrating with wonderful energy. There was a band going, a very charismatic gent who kept calling us "Princesa," gave us the special, and they even made a custom on-the-rocks marg for my roomie they typically only blend. The salsa is homemade, warm, yummy, and well-seasoned. The flautas surprised me with ACTUAL flavor! The rice and beans look unassuming, but they are well-seasoned as well and good. My chicken was pretty decent, wrapped in a warm, homemade flour tortilla. My roommate got mole and I've gotta say, her dish was great. Not too sweet, like some moles usually are, because this one packs spice as the flavor develops. Honestly, I'd consider it to be a pretty surprising and complex dish considering this restaurant is just your local place. All that being said, I hope it becomes our place for years to come. Keep it up! PS - Expect pomp AND circumstance when you visit on your birthday!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is lively and bustling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We love the warm salsa and freshly baked chips, especially on a cold day like today. The breakfast this morning was delicious. However, the service has been consistently poor, which is disappointing considering the overall experience. We had to flag down staff for minor things like napkins, salsa, and refills.

Enchiladas verdes were alright here. Portions are generous for the price, but flavors are underwhelming compared to other amazing Mexican restaurants in the area. The decor was cute and service was quick.

The food here was delicious! They serve you the traditional chips and salsa before you order and the salsa actually tastes very authentic! I loved it! As for the entree, I tried the enchiladas de mole. The rice and beans tasted very authentic, the mole was also delicious it's just missing a bit of flavor for my taste but over all I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back for another dish The place was clean and the staff was very polite and attentive. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Fernando and made feel welcome. For drinks we ordered some coffee and appreciated that it was made fresh! Bcs come on now who doesn't enjoyed a freshly brewed cup thanks Fernando! Regarding the parking, plenty of parking spaces.

My hubs (dating at the time) lived just down the road from this place, and we NEVER noticed or saw this place! Pretty bummed that I discovered this place so late in the game as this family-owned restaurant has been around for FOREVER....discovered it through some new friends we met and decided to have a weeknight dinner here, and boy did their services and salsa NOT disappoint! Ready for that mid-week kick? Come and grab some chips and salsa and a beer here...it'll be worth it! Located on HWY 6, near 1960 in a small plaza and all the way on the corner next to a doggy store that sells treats and other dog-gifts. Friendly service, warm, and cozy environment, with booths and a mid-second level with a bar and some more tables...they have some amazing salsa (green and red). We ordered the enchiladas and a few other dishes and enjoyed good food with great company. Pretty spacious parking lot as there are other surrounding businesses next to the restaurant, and they have a small patio! I would love to go back and try some of their other dishes...My dish came out super hot, and what I really appreciate and love about this place is it's friendly atmosphere and that they offer smaller quantity dishes for those who can't pack it away lol..they have the option to pick two or three enchiladas, and that really helps because I can't ever finish the third enchiladas and hate leftovers...

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top.
