Rome's Flavours has been our favorite italian restaurant we have found in Florida since coming here in August from NYC. This place is truly authentic italian and can compete with any of the authentic italian spots we were accustomed to in NYC. We started with the tuscany cutting board, and octopus special, both of which were fantastic. For entree I went with the Pappardelle while my girlfriend went with the Scoglio special. I was craving pizza today and walked by this place when I was shopping, I saw the fresh pasta noodles hanging by the counter and that got me curious, real fresh pasta? I was greeted by a lady who came outside and asked if she can assist me with anything. So I decided to order a personal size pizza to go. Why not. When I got to taste the pizza it was incredible! The flavor and texture of the crust with the cheese and sauce reminded me of when I was Italy, there was a sprig of fresh basil on top of the cheese which also added aromatic touch. It was just really aromatic and fresh! I don't think I can eat pizza any where else in town anymore other than here! Omg, such good pizza! I cant wait to try out their other menu offerings next time. Honestly I used to really enjoy this place. Now they have bumped up their prices ridiculously and a cheese pizza that serves two is $19. Also, it smelled and tasted like gas. I told the waiter and he smelled it and said he couldn't smell anything. He said he would tell the owner but no one ever came outside to apologize or see if they could accommodate us by making it over. I would not recommend this place anymore. The customer service is subpar, the food is way to expensive and the taste of the food is not good. Go to lazy moon and eat way better pizza for half of what you would pay here. read more

This place was unsuspecting; it doesn't look extraordinary from the outside, but the inside is elegant. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately. We had a memorable bottle of wine and a delicious pâsta dish. They had a plethora of vegetarian and vegan options available as well. The girl working was very sweet, and gave us samples of any of the many different flavored we wanted to try. All were amazing so you definitely can't go wrong when choosing. For sure the best gelato I've ever had, super creamy and delicious, just like I'm back in Rome. We stumbled into this place while walking around and it is just fantastic!! We had the homemade lasagna, salmon, fettuccine with shrimp, and caramel cream gelato. Everything was absolutely delicious. Price range is around $12-$20 per person, but everything is well worth it. The food is all homemade, including the hand made pasta. It's a wonderful place to eat with a nice staff and good calming atmosphere. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and probably the best homemade Italian restaurant in Orlando at least. This place has about a dozen gelatos. One was very strange, Gorgonzola gelato! I tried it, it was an interesting flavor. Didn't have a strong aftertaste and I think it works. They had a coffee gelato as well that wasn't sweetened and the nice lady said it was basically just coffee frozen. They had a few pizzas and pastas that honestly didn't look that appetizing but it was very late in the day and they were closing soon. I'll be back to try some food and some more interesting gelatos. read more

This place was so tasty! For the appetizer, I started with the original bruschetta with their homemade bread, which tasted okay ntohing special. The bread was warm and soft, but the bruschetta itself was missing something. I can't really put my finger on what was missing though. I order the special of the day which was a lasgana with meat sauce, and I thought it was fanstatic. I would order it again. There was a little too much cheese for my liking, but the sauce was well seasoned and didn't have a sour taste. I really hate tomato sauces that have a super sour taste. For dessert, my little sister ordered the tiramisu which I did not like because I am not a fan of coffee. My little sister said it was the best tiramisu she has every tasted, and the cream and lady finger were perfect. My little sister hates when the lady fingers are soaked in expresso too long, making the texture grainy. Overall, we had a great experience and I wpuld highly recommend trying this place! read more
