This place is off the hook. They have some of best street tacos that I've ever had they have all kinds of different ones my favorite was the the chicken tacos and a Carne Asada and these guys are not afraid to pile on the meat. You actually get what you pay for at this place. They have a couple different sauces that you can have with your tacos. Both are very good. I would definitely recommend Romo's street tacos read more

When I first moved to Castle Rock, I loved going to this place. They had the location Ecclesia and it was good. Now, had a burrito from there the other day. Barely any steak and also the rice was terrible. Uncooked and overcooked rice (dont know how this is managed) This has also been going on for a while, but I kept going because they were a small business and the dad and mom that work the truck are adorable but I can't excuse it anymore. I ended up throwing half the burrito away because I just couldn't take the rice texture. read more

Best Mexican food in castle rock. They used to be in Ecclesia food hall downtown but recently moved to the west side of town. You order at the food truck and they have a nice dining room to eat and play pool. Their chips and salsa are delicious and made in-house. This is our new go-to spot! read more

So disappointed, had the choice of a few other Mexican places in Castle rock but decided to go to Romo's because we know they're in a tough area. Showed up, barely was able to find a place to seat because every table had dirty dishes and trash. We found a spot and didn't get served for another 10 minutes. When he finally came by we asked for a few orders of tacos and a water for my wife. Didn't ever get the water, plus took 25 minutes for the tacos. I go to pay for the bill and we paid $47.50 for 9 asada tacos. Insane. Sorry but unless yall figure something out, you would survive in castle rock with those prices or the level of service you provided. Used to love the food truck but since they moved into a restaurant- they decided to basically double their prices. Good luck! read more

Went in and tried this particular restaurant for the first time (I've been to the others in Ecclesia Market). Ordered the tacos pastor. Not a complaint but an observation. If you're hoping to get FAST food, you'll be disappointed by the FAST. But, if you want GREAT tacos, you won't be disappointed. DELICIOUS. I bought from their food truck parked not too far from the hospital in Castle Rock across Founders from a trailhead....that's the best I can do on location since I don't live in Castle Rock. I would definitely drive for these tacos again. I brought one back to my husband and we are eager to try their restaurant location downtown across from the barn. Excellent choice for a random breakfast taco craving. Romo's is downstairs in a building with multiple businesses. Easy access if it's not busy, street parking available nearby on several streets. We ordered to-go on the Yelp app prior to the restaurant opening. As soon as they opened our order was confirmed. The only picture I got was of my breakfast sausage and bacon tacos, the rest of the fam got a chorizo quesadilla, and breakfast burritos. Everything was so good, they dug in right away. I highly recommend everything we ordered, especially the breakfast tacos. Under $10 for 3 loaded tacos is a deal. I opted for the spicy pineapple salsa, and it was the perfect accompaniment. The pico was nice and fresh, and corn tortillas provided a nice touch of sweet with the breakfast taco mixture. This is the first time we've ordered here and have lived in CR for over 6 years. Jamaica drink was extremely sweet and although they said it was fresh it definitely tasted like it could be a mix? I adore tacos Al pastor and other reviews made me stop by but the meat was soupy/ soggy and had tons of huge, unchewable pieces of fat and gristle. Large meat portions which was appreciated but I pulled out over a large taco worth of meat I couldn't chew. And nothing was hot, just barely warmed on the grill and put together. I got something on Facebook to get 2 tacos for free from here, so I figured "why not?". So this afternoon as I was driving by, decided to take advantage of the promo, and to be completely honest, I would of been just as happy with everything had I paid the $7-8 it would of cost (had I paid). I tried the chicken tacos and they were REALLY good. They come with 4 soft tortillas, so you can either eat them doubled up, or kinda split out what's in 1 into another tortilla (I did this on my second one I ate and I think I liked it better so stuff wasn't falling out of the taco, and it was easier to dip in the salsa). They have 3 options for salsa: red, green and pineapple...I thought I'd stick with something simple and got the red, and wow, that had some heat to it. If you don't like spicy, I would guess the pineapple might be the one to get instead. Overall, even though all I had was just a chicken street taco, I would go back. The downside for this place is just getting there. It's in a location where street parking is hard to come by (even on a Sunday morning at 11am), and finding where the restaurant is in the building is a little tricky too. But once you get in the building, it's downstairs. So if you walk in the main doors you have to go up the stairs and then back down to the basement and the signage isn't very clear, but once you've been there and understand it, it's not a big deal. There are 4 restaurants in the space and seating for probably for 20-30? Apparently you can order food from the bar in the upper part of the building too where they had live music going on by the time I left. One last note, when I got home, I noticed my clothes smelled like that place, so I guess the air isn't the best (kinda a fried food kinda smell is what I gathered). read more

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. It is authentic and made fresh. We love bringing out of town guests here, and it's often our go to when eating out. It is located in the heart of downtown in a unique food court. We love their tacoritos, which are street tacos but with a quesadilla shell. The prices are a little bit high, but I understand that times are crazy, and I'm sure the location isn't cheap. We have stopped by their food truck as well, and have been satisfied there too. The staff is always friendly and quick. Seating can be limited on a weekend due to the shared food court space, but there's plenty of outdoor seating we like to take advantage of too.
