Update: we ordered from here again about a week ago and our delivery driver cancelled on us. Austin saw that our order got cancelled on the delivery app and reached out to us directly. Been going here for a while back to when they were in the market. Burritos are always good. But, the last two times I ordered online from https://www.romosstreettacoscastlerock.com which is a menufy account they seem to have and when I get to the truck they say they don't see my order. This place is off the hook. They have some of best street tacos that I've ever had they have all kinds of different ones my favorite was the the chicken tacos and a Carne Asada and these guys are not afraid to pile on the meat. You actually get what you pay for at this place. They have a couple different sauces that you can have with your tacos. Both are very good. I would definitely recommend Romo's street tacos read more

Best Mexican food in castle rock. They used to be in Ecclesia food hall downtown but recently moved to the west side of town. You order at the food truck and they have a nice dining room to eat and play pool. Their chips and salsa are delicious and made in-house. This is our new go-to spot! read more

When I first moved to Castle Rock, I loved going to this place. They had the location Ecclesia and it was good. Now, had a burrito from there the other day. Barely any steak and also the rice was terrible. Uncooked and overcooked rice (dont know how this is managed) This has also been going on for a while, but I kept going because they were a small business and the dad and mom that work the truck are adorable but I can't excuse it anymore. I ended up throwing half the burrito away because I just couldn't take the rice texture. read more

So disappointed, had the choice of a few other Mexican places in Castle rock but decided to go to Romo's because we know they're in a tough area. Showed up, barely was able to find a place to seat because every table had dirty dishes and trash. We found a spot and didn't get served for another 10 minutes. When he finally came by we asked for a few orders of tacos and a water for my wife. Didn't ever get the water, plus took 25 minutes for the tacos. I go to pay for the bill and we paid $47.50 for 9 asada tacos. Insane. Sorry but unless yall figure something out, you would survive in castle rock with those prices or the level of service you provided. Used to love the food truck but since they moved into a restaurant- they decided to basically double their prices. Good luck! read more

Went in and tried this particular restaurant for the first time (I've been to the others in Ecclesia Market). Ordered the tacos pastor. Not a complaint but an observation. If you're hoping to get FAST food, you'll be disappointed by the FAST. But, if you want GREAT tacos, you won't be disappointed. DELICIOUS. They served them HOT, which in and of itself nowadays is an exception rather than the rule, which made them better. Then what topped it off was the cook, coming by to asking if they were okay. These might be my favorite tacos ever! I bought from their food truck parked not too far from the hospital in Castle Rock across Founders from a trailhead....that's the best I can do on location since I don't live in Castle Rock. I would definitely drive for these tacos again. I brought one back to my husband and we are eager to try their restaurant location downtown across from the barn. Good food, kind of expensive, 3 taco plate for $10.50, , no chips, no rice, just tacos. Then my total came to $12.38, lot of tax?.....Then my to go order did not come with any utensils or napkins, Where's the love? Excellent choice for a random breakfast taco craving. Romo's is downstairs in a building with multiple businesses. Easy access if it's not busy, street parking available nearby on several streets. We ordered to-go on the Yelp app prior to the restaurant opening. As soon as they opened our order was confirmed. The only picture I got was of my breakfast sausage and bacon tacos, the rest of the fam got a chorizo quesadilla, and breakfast burritos. Everything was so good, they dug in right away. I highly recommend everything we ordered, especially the breakfast tacos. Under $10 for 3 loaded tacos is a deal. I opted for the spicy pineapple salsa, and it was the perfect accompaniment. The pico was nice and fresh, and corn tortillas provided a nice touch of sweet with the breakfast taco mixture. This is the first time we've ordered here and have lived in CR for over 6 years. Located inside Ecclesia Market in downtown Castle rock. Super cool with lots of different little spots to sit and eat. Holy bananas these were the best tacos I've ever had. Both the chicken and el pastor tacos were delicious. Combo comes with rice and beans. Expected refried beans but they were whole pinto beans. Still very good. Disappointed overall. Owners seem very pleasant and the market is a cool concept. But for me the food definitely fell very short! Jamaica drink was extremely sweet and although they said it was fresh it definitely tasted like it could be a mix? I adore tacos Al pastor and other reviews made me stop by but the meat was soupy/ soggy and had tons of huge, unchewable pieces of fat and gristle. Large meat portions which was appreciated but I pulled out over a large taco worth of meat I couldn't chew. And nothing was hot, just barely warmed on the grill and put together. Salsas we're fresh and tasty but I would not eat here again. read more

I got something on Facebook to get 2 tacos for free from here, so I figured "why not?". So this afternoon as I was driving by, decided to take advantage of the promo, and to be completely honest, I would of been just as happy with everything had I paid the $7-8 it would of cost (had I paid). I tried the chicken tacos and they were REALLY good. They come with 4 soft tortillas, so you can either eat them doubled up, or kinda split out what's in 1 into another tortilla (I did this on my second one I ate and I think I liked it better so stuff wasn't falling out of the taco, and it was easier to dip in the salsa). They have 3 options for salsa: red, green and pineapple...I thought I'd stick with something simple and got the red, and wow, that had some heat to it. If you don't like spicy, I would guess the pineapple might be the one to get instead. Overall, even though all I had was just a chicken street taco, I would go back. The downside for this place is just getting there. It's in a location where street parking is hard to come by (even on a Sunday morning at 11am), and finding where the restaurant is in the building is a little tricky too. But once you get in the building, it's downstairs. So if you walk in the main doors you have to go up the stairs and then back down to the basement and the signage isn't very clear, but once you've been there and understand it, it's not a big deal. There are 4 restaurants in the space and seating for probably for 20-30? Apparently you can order food from the bar in the upper part of the building too where they had live music going on by the time I left. One last note, when I got home, I noticed my clothes smelled like that place, so I guess the air isn't the best (kinda a fried food kinda smell is what I gathered). read more

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. It is authentic and made fresh. We love bringing out of town guests here, and it's often our go to when eating out. It is located in the heart of downtown in a unique food court. We love their tacoritos, which are street tacos but with a quesadilla shell. The prices are a little bit high, but I understand that times are crazy, and I'm sure the location isn't cheap. We have stopped by their food truck as well, and have been satisfied there too. The staff is always friendly and quick. Seating can be limited on a weekend due to the shared food court space, but there's plenty of outdoor seating we like to take advantage of too. I can not recommend Romo's enough! read more

I think it had the same beans in the burrito which made the flavors not well-balanced and somewhat off-putting. The relleno was the star of the show and definitely something that we would come back for though! Overall, this was a good choice and a welcome addition to the Mexican food options in Castle Rock!

I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was good, I did feel like it was lacking some flavor but their green sauce definitely helped! Would recommend and will be coming back to try their other items in the menu!

She was given a table near the S. patio exit right next to the double doors (Literally the table straddled one of the patio doors). As I pulled into the parking lot of Savina exactly 4: 20, I called my friend to let her know I'd arrived. She stated she would meet me outside. As my friend exited to meet me in the parking lot, she told both a server and the Host at the front desk that she would return shortly. Upon re-entering there were approximately 3 or 4 employees at the front host desk. NOT one of them acknowledged our entering, NO 'hello, can we help you, or friendly smile', although, they chatted amongst themselves as they kept their eyes on their respective cell phones. As we made ourselves back to our table the view was breathtaking. Both my friend and I proceeded outside to wonder the 360-degree view, spectacular. Finally, we returned to the table after a few pics, within a 10min window of having met me out front. I didn't really pay attention to the location of our table except when I tried to squeeze myself between the other table where two elderly women were seated. I excused myself as I attempted to get comfortable, to my surprise they acknowledge, and yet ignored me. I politely mentioned how crowded it was for me to accommodate myself. My plea fell on DEAF ears as they snubbed me (in their defense -both were blue haired possibly hard of hearing or just rude). Therefore, I sat on the same side of the rectangular table, as I could not sit comfortably opposite my girl. As we sipped our water several servers passed us, we had a few chips and salsa at the table while sitting patiently. Within the 5-7 minutes, I attempted to get anyone of the servers' attention, the dining-area was steady but not crazy. At which I again wondered why we were seated in such a poor spot (both our chairs clearly blocked the pathway to the outside) somewhat an emergency or fire hazard. I scanned the dining area, and more than half the dining patio tables were empty. I finally got a young waiter's attention and asked if we could order a drink or move to another spot, perhaps the bar itself. As I spoke a young lady-server approached. She stated that she was our server, then stated "I thought you left", I didn't think you were coming back". Not offering to serve us, but surprised we were back- 'NO apology or 'what may I bring or help you with?' I asked again, would it be possible to get another table, or better yet sit at the bar. We were told that the inside bar was available but NO offer to help accomodate. I offered to pay for the chips and salsa... Young lady stated, NO Charge, I placed $5.00 on the table anyhow. As we made our way toward the bar, the server did not offer to help carry our water, chips or salsa to the table. By this time, it was closer to 5pm and the actual bar was crowded with no seats available... Yet again NO server to offer us another place to be seated. I would've thought she would have followed us to help or communicate our predicament to the host or other servers in the bar area. Frustrated, thirsty and hungry, we found ourselves in the parking lot deciding where else we might choose to dine. I'm writing this to express just how indifferent the staff was upon entering and leaving your establishment. I say this because as we walked out... AGAIN, NOT a single host, waiter employee at the front desk said, 'goodbye, thank you, see you soon', how was everything?' I currently work for HCA medical in Englewood and was given the recommendation to dine here by my director. I've worked in both food and beverage and the Hospitality field for over 40 years, currently as a hospital administrator. I was truly looking forward to seeing my friend and enjoying my Birthday meal. The few chips and bit of salsa were tasty. Hell, you can get good chips and salsa at 90 percent of the Spanish or Mexican restaurants in Colorado! Yet, POOR service is what shuts down 90 percent of restaurants. Not sure I will give Savina in Castle Pines a second chance, possibly give Denver's location a try. PS. I returned to my vehicle having left it in the parking lot... I needed the men's bathroom; I purposely went into Savina, finding NO one at the front desk. However, on my way out from using the facilities, one of the young hosts called out 'goodbye'. This 2 hours after dining at Los Dos Potrillos up the road. (Which was Wonderful, service, food and tequila)! Had to wait 20 mins for my order.. which is fine it was busy and others had to wait too.. but they were offered drinks for the wait ( I wasn't ) everyone who received there order was thanked for being patient and the lady apologized for the wait.. I was being just as patient, didn't complain once or show any visible annoyance yet when I was handed my food 20 mins after pick up time all I got was " HERE !! Do you know which one is which?? " not sure if she wasn't trying to insult my intelligence on top of being rude but that mainly prompted me to write this review.. I don't know if it's my skin color but everyone who was treated with respect and kindness didn't look like me.. I won't be back as a customer or driver.. I'm half white too so I'm really not trying to play the race card but 5/6 people get treated with respect and kindness and the 1 that doesn't looks different ?? Idk super disappointed.. Also I knew I wasn't going to be treated the same from the moment I walked in. read more

My son and I went to Romo's for a late lunch and were blown away! The quesabirrra tacos were some of the best we've ever had plus the stacked enchilada with the fried egg on top was killer good paired with some amazing salsas! Atmosphere is fantastic and the decor is on point! If you want an incredible dining experience for food that's locked in -go no further. And oh boy, this plate is definitely way more than what it appears. The plantains were cooked to perfection with the texture that was to the point. The two sunny side ups were smaller but nice and perfectly over easy. And the refried beans' seasoning (although they looked a bit dry at a glance) were creamier than they appeared; the seasoning of it was also to the point. Quite palatable. The town of Elizabeth doesn't have much to offer but this small and yet mighty latin restaurant has more than what you'd expect. It's a nice business to remember if you happen to be in town.
