Brunswick Volkswagen is one of the car dealers under Brunswick Auto Mart brand umbrella. My family…read moreand I trust no other car dealership in the area, it remained unchanged for many years. I purchased my third car from this dealership yesterday, first Volkswagen. I am so impressed with every experience here! INVENTORY: The inventory at Brunswick Auto Mart is huge for both new and pre-owned vehicles. Make sure that you browse all their buildings located within close proximity. Brunswick Volkswagen building specifically has a huge lot of pre-owned vehicles including Volkswagen (new cars are also available). The inventory is available to browse online as well with helpful filters (great for saving time!) All vehicles include videos and CARFAX. It's incredibly easy to browse for experienced car people and those who don't have any idea what's going on like myself. You get a very clear picture of choices before even visiting the dealership. What I most love about Brunswick Volkswagen is that they genuinely want to find you a vehicle that fits all your criteria - budget, mileage, and lifestyle. That's a a huge contrast to other local dealerships I've experienced in the area. They will gladly partner with you and keep an eye out for the best incoming vehicles. I had several choices for my very picky criteria, and the decision was hard (quite a few choices!) Ultimately my choice was WV Jetta. My first Volkswagen after years of being Mazda girl. The car met all my criteria and also had a major cute factor. SERVICE: The building is gorgeous - ample natural light and very comfortable surroundings for customers. There is also a comfortable, well lit customer lounge to make the process more comfortable. The service genuinely deserves one million stars. And I'm a very picky service person. Everyone I've worked with over the years for car purchase made a very stressful process a breeze. They felt like partners rather than sales. The process here is very customer-centric. The experience is very smooth, clear, and respects one's time. I also always felt like the vehicles I'm purchasing are safe and reliable. Some have lasted me years. I especially liked working with sales guy Ravi during my last visit. It was a very stressful and uncertain time for me personally looking for a car after a car accident. I walked into this car dealership and knew that I could just exhale all the stress. Ravi was fantastic with finding the cars within my criteria, explaining the differences between the vehicles, ensuring that the vehicles best match my lifestyle, and making sure that the entire transaction was smooth. He made all of us feel heard - myself and my parents. Ravi also seemed like a genuinely nice person which is also important. I will definitely work with him next time if I ever need another vehicle. Highly recommend! Especially as a woman, I feel that navigating car purchase process is often very intimidating and tedious. Not here. I can with confidence say that at Brunswick Automart (including this Brunswick Volkswagen) always makes this process approachable, efficient, and very positive. I actually look forward going to Brunswick Auto Mart and looking at cars! I very highly recommend this car dealership!

He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions quickly. We had a concern about the brakes and he had their technicians take a look at it right away while we started the paperwork. The brakes have another 10K miles until I need to replace the pads. Overall, the car I purchased was in excellent condition and I am very happy with my purchase so far. The paperwork process with Ryan went smoothly. I would definitely recommend. Very happy with my experience with this dealership.

TO RYAN. I am beyond frustrated with this Buick I purchased in March. From the very beginning, it…read morehas been nothing but problems, and the dealership has not taken accountability. * The trunk doesn't open with the Buick logo or the key fob. * The check engine light came on literally one day after I got the car. On June 14th, it flashed "Service Engine" and another warning when I started it. * The car floods into all the floorboards and even the seatbelt compartments. The drain holes are broken, so water just sits inside the car. Now it's frozen, and frost has literally covered the inside of the vehicle. * The rim that came with the car kept popping my tires--I had to replace them over and over until I finally bought a new rim myself. * The oil pan they gave me has stripped threads and needs to be replaced. * The tire sensor is swapped or misconfigured, so I can't even trust the readings. ALSO NO AC !!! and not to mention i called them the week after i got it and noticed these problems and RYAN (the salesman who sold me this lemon) crying out of frustration he said he couldn't help and no one would be available till the next coming week. I had to buy a whole cover because when it rains and snows it leaks. when i got the car and the engine light came on it was because the car was so flooded. the water came RUSHING to the front like a tsunami whenever i would press the break. there is many more problems that have occurred but its so many i can't remember them all!!! I HAD TO GET A WHOLE NEW CAR (tesla model 3) FROM NORTH COAST MITSUBISHI MOTORS WEST CLEVELAND, ask for LOGUNN LITTLES !! he was AMAZING and sold me a beautiful tesla with no complications. I'm sure Ryan from KDK AUTO will remember the call and realize how maybe he should've taken it seriously back then. so now i have to go a different route. This is unacceptable. A car that i have had for less than a year should not have this many serious issues. I've already had to replace parts out of my own pocket, and the flooding/frost situation is a major safety hazard. I feel completely misled and stuck with a defective vehicle. If you value your money and safety, avoid this dealership. They sold me a car that is a nightmare to own, and I'm prepared to pursue Lemon Law action if this isn't resolved.

I took my 17 year old son to find a car in his price range ($2500). The guy greeted me with an annoyed look and reluctantly took me outside to show me some cars. This was only after he ranted about how busy they were with tax refund season in full swing. Apparently, he was tired from showing cars all day. We go outside and he proceeds to tell me how cars are more expensive this week because its tax refund season and the demand is so high. "Any car on this lot will be $800 more next week," he says. Okay, so I've had about enough of him and I just ask him how much they know about the cars before they buy them. "Not a damn thing." Okay, so its an auction... maybe that's reasonable. So I proceed to ask what he knows about the cars by the time they put a price on them and try to sell them... "By that point, we know that they start and will drive. We don't do safety checks, we don't change the fluids. We just mark them up $3-400 and that's it. It is what it is." So unless you are a mechanic, I don't know why you'd buy anything from these guys. I am not--and although I had already started walking to my car to leave, I decided to ask one more question just for fun. Assuming I were to find a car we liked, I asked if he would mind if we took it to my mechanic for an inspection. His response: "We don't normally like to allow that.... these cars are used and they are all going to have one thing wrong or another, you just have to expect that." I said, "But my mechanic is right around the corner at Royal Car Care." "Oh," he says, "Forget it then. Not a single car on this lot would pass their inspection." He said it with such disdain I could tell it was personal. His response to my final question was priceless. I asked "What would their motivation be, rejecting all of your cars?" Having no clue how shady he was, he simply replied, "They are just trying to protect their customers. Go figure.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Ever Had…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Hyundai and this dealership was so frustrating that I feel other customers deserve to know what to expect. My vehicle remained at the dealership for an extended period while I repeatedly tried to get updates. Calling the dealership was an exercise in frustration--I was transferred from one person to another, left numerous voicemails, and rarely received a return call. It often felt impossible to speak with someone who could provide a clear answer. When I couldn't get any help, I wrote letters to Hyundai corporate, including the CEO, as well as dealership management. I hoped someone would at least acknowledge my concerns or explain what was happening. Unfortunately, I never received a response. Eventually, I got my vehicle back, but the overall experience left me feeling ignored and disappointed. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care was unacceptable. Mechanical issues can happen with any manufacturer. What separates a great company from the rest is how it treats its customers when problems arise. Unfortunately, Hyundai and this dealership failed that test in my experience. If you're considering buying or servicing a vehicle here, I encourage you to pay close attention to the quality of customer service, not just the vehicle itself. I sincerely hope Hyundai takes these concerns seriously and improves the way it communicates with and supports its customers.

I originally asked about a warranty and was told not to worry, it would be taken care of. Delivery of the vehicle took almost 2wks. Believe only reason I got it when I did was due to refusing the delivery if it was any later than that date. Was asked before even getting the car to call the finance company and advise them everything was good since they had been calling the dealership to verify. Once I got the car, it seemed pretty nice. Liked the ride, how it handled and it actually saved me on my payment. On the 57th day, the motor seized. I had a Hyundai dealership do the estimate and they found the motor was seized and quoted me $13,200 to fix it. I called Michael to find out about the warranty. Never got an answer to a warranty but according to the finance company, there wasn't one purchased. Michael said they would try to get it fixed and that possibly they could get me a loaner to help mitigate the problem. This was Sept of 2024 and I still have not heard anything from him. This is after several calls, email, texts and messages from other people. So i would say I am being actively ignored. Hyundai attempted to step in and provide help, but they eventually refused. So here I am almost a year later and still paying for a vehicle I cant use at all, and haven't been able to use since Aug of 2024. I feel like I was targeted due to the fact I had already filed bankruptcy(how they got my info in 1st place)and they saw a way to get rid of a problem with a guaranteed payment since i couldn't file on it. Looking at VIN search, this company had my car from new, so they are the reason that Hyundai is refusing to help me. After reading the other reviews, I am going to make sure that they didn't cancel my GAP insurance. Feeling like legal assistance is only course of action I have now.
