I reached out to look at a vehicle and set up an appointment. The vehicle is listed as pre certified. I asked about tires and brakes. All of a sudden they "realized" that the car needed new tires and rear brakes and is not a certified vehicle because that was "missed" in the precert process. I was told that they cannot replace tires and brakes to keep it as certified because at the price the car is listed it would be a loss. My sales person told me on the phone that they dropped the price of the vehicle so much to "get" foot traffic into the dealership. I even offered to purchase the vehicle if they would drop the price to cover the cost of the tires and brakes. I was told the price is the price and that they would not sell the vehicle but rather send it out to wholesale. And of course, the car is still listed. And they offered to get me into another vehicle, which of course is thousands more. Classic bait and switch? Feels like it. Do better Brunswick auto mart.

From the very beginning, it…read morehas been nothing but problems, and the dealership has not taken accountability. * The trunk doesn't open with the Buick logo or the key fob. * The check engine light came on literally one day after I got the car. On June 14th, it flashed "Service Engine" and another warning when I started it. * The car floods into all the floorboards and even the seatbelt compartments. The drain holes are broken, so water just sits inside the car. Now it's frozen, and frost has literally covered the inside of the vehicle. * The rim that came with the car kept popping my tires--I had to replace them over and over until I finally bought a new rim myself. * The oil pan they gave me has stripped threads and needs to be replaced. * The tire sensor is swapped or misconfigured, so I can't even trust the readings. ALSO NO AC !!! and not to mention i called them the week after i got it and noticed these problems and RYAN (the salesman who sold me this lemon) crying out of frustration he said he couldn't help and no one would be available till the next coming week. I had to buy a whole cover because when it rains and snows it leaks. when i got the car and the engine light came on it was because the car was so flooded. the water came RUSHING to the front like a tsunami whenever i would press the break. there is many more problems that have occurred but its so many i can't remember them all!!! I HAD TO GET A WHOLE NEW CAR (tesla model 3) FROM NORTH COAST MITSUBISHI MOTORS WEST CLEVELAND, ask for LOGUNN LITTLES !! he was AMAZING and sold me a beautiful tesla with no complications. I'm sure Ryan from KDK AUTO will remember the call and realize how maybe he should've taken it seriously back then. so now i have to go a different route. This is unacceptable. A car that i have had for less than a year should not have this many serious issues. I've already had to replace parts out of my own pocket, and the flooding/frost situation is a major safety hazard. I feel completely misled and stuck with a defective vehicle. If you value your money and safety, avoid this dealership. They sold me a car that is a nightmare to own, and I'm prepared to pursue Lemon Law action if this isn't resolved.

I purchased my third car from this dealership yesterday, first Volkswagen. I am so impressed with every experience here! INVENTORY: The inventory at Brunswick Auto Mart is huge for both new and pre-owned vehicles. Make sure that you browse all their buildings located within close proximity. Brunswick Volkswagen building specifically has a huge lot of pre-owned vehicles including Volkswagen (new cars are also available). The inventory is available to browse online as well with helpful filters (great for saving time!) All vehicles include videos and CARFAX. It's incredibly easy to browse for experienced car people and those who don't have any idea what's going on like myself. You get a very clear picture of choices before even visiting the dealership. What I most love about Brunswick Volkswagen is that they genuinely want to find you a vehicle that fits all your criteria - budget, mileage, and lifestyle. That's a a huge contrast to other local dealerships I've experienced in the area. They will gladly partner with you and keep an eye out for the best incoming vehicles. I had several choices for my very picky criteria, and the decision was hard (quite a few choices!) Ultimately my choice was WV Jetta. My first Volkswagen after years of being Mazda girl. The car met all my criteria and also had a major cute factor. SERVICE: The building is gorgeous - ample natural light and very comfortable surroundings for customers. There is also a comfortable, well lit customer lounge to make the process more comfortable. The service genuinely deserves one million stars. And I'm a very picky service person. Everyone I've worked with over the years for car purchase made a very stressful process a breeze. They felt like partners rather than sales. The process here is very customer-centric. The experience is very smooth, clear, and respects one's time. I also always felt like the vehicles I'm purchasing are safe and reliable. Some have lasted me years. I especially liked working with sales guy Ravi during my last visit. It was a very stressful and uncertain time for me personally looking for a car after a car accident. I walked into this car dealership and knew that I could just exhale all the stress. Ravi was fantastic with finding the cars within my criteria, explaining the differences between the vehicles, ensuring that the vehicles best match my lifestyle, and making sure that the entire transaction was smooth. He made all of us feel heard - myself and my parents. Ravi also seemed like a genuinely nice person which is also important. I will definitely work with him next time if I ever need another vehicle. Highly recommend! Especially as a woman, I feel that navigating car purchase process is often very intimidating and tedious. Not here. I can with confidence say that at Brunswick Automart (including this Brunswick Volkswagen) always makes this process approachable, efficient, and very positive. I actually look forward going to Brunswick Auto Mart and looking at cars! I very highly recommend this car dealership!

After several unanswered e-mails and calls over an 11-day period I final made contact with the service tech who indicated the need for a temp sensor. When I came in to pick up my car, I paid the invoice including the cost of the temp sensor. To my surprise the car had dirty handprints on the inside door pulls and footprints on the front carpet along with bird droppings on the carpet in the back. Interestingly enough the service tech had told me he had kept it covered as I had asked, saying he did so as they were having some issues with bird droppings. After a few weeks of waiting for the part, I called to check on it and was told it was not ordered; even though I had paid for it. Ultimately, I did receive the part, installed it without issue and the light remained on. I reached out to let the service tech know that the part did not fix the issue, and again after a few unanswered e-mails and calls, he finally responded back and asked I bring the car back. I responded with a written explanation of concern along with a picture showing a stripped wiring harness (apparently done by a squirrel or the like during storage) running right over the original temp sensor prior to replacement being installed. I went on to say that clearly this is a visible issue but there was no mention of it in the inspection report and I couldn't help but wonder if anyone even looked at the temp sensor as this literally ran right over the top of it and would have been seen an noted. I never heard from him again. Nothing. UPDATE 10/18/24. The general manager reach out via a response to my review. He was genuine in his desire to understand what had transpired. We connected via a call and it was clear he had taken the time to understand the internal events surrounding this issue. He accepted responsibility for the shortcomings and offered to make it right. I appreciated his efforts. So yes, it was a bad initial experience however clearly the organization and its management care about their customers and are willing to take action and keep them happy thru positive experiences.

I took my 17 year old son to find a car in his price range ($2500). The guy greeted me with an annoyed look and reluctantly took me outside to show me some cars. This was only after he ranted about how busy they were with tax refund season in full swing. Apparently, he was tired from showing cars all day. We go outside and he proceeds to tell me how cars are more expensive this week because its tax refund season and the demand is so high. "Any car on this lot will be $800 more next week," he says. Okay, so I've had about enough of him and I just ask him how much they know about the cars before they buy them. "Not a damn thing." Okay, so its an auction... maybe that's reasonable. So I proceed to ask what he knows about the cars by the time they put a price on them and try to sell them... "By that point, we know that they start and will drive. We don't do safety checks, we don't change the fluids. We just mark them up $3-400 and that's it. It is what it is." So unless you are a mechanic, I don't know why you'd buy anything from these guys. I am not--and although I had already started walking to my car to leave, I decided to ask one more question just for fun. Assuming I were to find a car we liked, I asked if he would mind if we took it to my mechanic for an inspection. His response: "We don't normally like to allow that.... these cars are used and they are all going to have one thing wrong or another, you just have to expect that." I said, "But my mechanic is right around the corner at Royal Car Care." "Oh," he says, "Forget it then. Not a single car on this lot would pass their inspection." He said it with such disdain I could tell it was personal. His response to my final question was priceless. I asked "What would their motivation be, rejecting all of your cars?" Having no clue how shady he was, he simply replied, "They are just trying to protect their customers. Go figure.

With no sacrifice in quality, why would you go somewhere else? Their waiting room is a little cramped, so I do recommend that you consider having a rideshare or friend available to take you elsewhere while the work is being done, or use their nighttime key drop service which is simple and convenient. They don't do oil changes, and I applaud them for not wasting their time when there are so many other locations that do it simply and inexpensively; this way they can have their mechanics focus on fundamental repair like brakes, exhaust, and other types of suspension or drivetrain work. One thing that should impress you is that the owner has a plaque on the wall in the waiting room with his photo and his personal cell phone number listed; he truly cares about your satisfaction because he understands the best advertising he will ever have is your recommendation. That is to be applauded when so many corporate repair shops are so poorly managed, or managed only to extract the absolute most money out of the consumer.
