Ordered the tteokgalbi steak ($34). It was basically a thick hamburg steak (ground meat with onions inside) over a bed of mashed potatoes with sauce, topped with fried mushrooms, and served with a side of veggies. Ngl I thought I'd get thick cut steak, but this was good and juicy too! I'd prefer if the veggies were served hot like the meat. Restaurant was very clean, gives work appropriate vibes, but you can still dress casual. Waitress only comes when your food arrives or when you call for her on the table kiosk.

Food used to be much better but has declined in quality and quantity. Yet, prices remain exorbitantly high for what you're getting. Their spicy rosé pasta no longer has veggies or rice cakes in it. The Korean galbi set has definitely declined in size and meat quality, and no longer comes with the banchan it used to. I think the dippin dots was $8, but they couldn't even take the time to put it in the bowl for me. Depending on who your server is, the service ranges from mediocre to nonexistent. This place had so much potential and the food was pretty good, but I just can't justify spending my time or money at an establishment that chases profits or attempts to cut costs completely on behalf of the patrons.

My family decided to check out dPlace to celebrate my sister's birthday! We were craving some good meat and pasta, so dPlace was the perfect place to go! We have 7 people in our party, so we called to reserve a spot, but they do take walk in if you have a smaller party. The staff were super welcoming and provided great service!! Here are the dishes we ordered: OC Galbi - Korean Style (come with banchans and rice) OC Galbi - American Style (come with dinner roll, salad and toasted corn) Carbonara Cream Pasta Pescatore Pasta Fried Calamari Everything hit so hard!! Love the flavor of the OC Galbi and the fact that they have 2 variations! It was a lot of meat though, so I would just order one style and order more pasta next time. Fried calamari was huge and not too greasy. Love the sauce from the pescatore pasta! dPlace is def a good restaurant to celebrate your special occasion! Highly recommend!!

The Rose Pasta was easily our favorite dish, but the steak was the true star of the meal. An absolute must-try. The Caesar salad could've used a bit more dressing, but the calamari was good. It was definitely the first time we've been served a whole squid and had to cut it ourselves, which was unexpected. The restaurant has plenty of spacious seating, and we felt welcomed when we arrived. Unfortunately, that's where the service experience fell short. Everything is ordered through the tablet, and the food is delivered by little robots, so there isn't much traditional table service. Toward the end of our meal, it took pressing the service button three separate times before someone came to our table. At that point, it would've been nice if there were an option to pay directly through the tablet as well.

We came in a group of 5 ordering several types of pastas and an order of the OC galbi. The Rose pasta was definitely our favorite but the steak is the true star of the show (must try) There isnt really "service" here. Orders are submitted through tablets and delivered via little robots. Personally, I thought the staff could've been a little more attentive. Plenty of spacious seating and I felt very welcome coming in.

Great Galbi steak and ceviche. I would skipped the watermelon salad and try something different next time. Our server was Jane and she was very sweet. Overall I would recommend this restaurant.

This is my second time here, I brought my friend to taste the fusion of Korean dishes. She loved all the food we ordered, including the drink. You order from the kiosk on your table and the robot will bring it to you. Ofc , the server will be there to grab the dishes and put it on the table for you, cool right! They serve regular and alcoholic drinks . We didn't wanna get drunk , so we both ordered the Yuzu Grapefruit drink , and it tasted delicious! The moment we walked in she felt in love with the atmosphere and romantic vibes inside the restaurant . It's pretty cool and classy romantic at the same time. Great for dating and any gatherings. The high booth makes it more private for conversation. Plenty of parking outside. You can also take a walk after a full meal around the plaza. Great place to hang out !!

    Carbonara and corn cheese

Came here a few times and the food, atmosphere, and service has always been great! The inside is dimly lit for a more intimate ambiance. I recently came on a sunday afternoon with my girlfriends to celebrate and it was fairly simple to make a reservation. The portion sizes are really big so we decided to share everything. We ordered the galbi, carbonara, and corn cheese. The galbi itself is huge! It fed 3 girls and enough to take some home after. The meat is very tender and came with multiple sides including rice and salad that isn't pictured. The carbonara is delicious! I honestly can eat that without the noodles and just use it as a dipping sauce. You can add additional protein but we just had it as is which came with bacon and mushrooms. The corn cheese was okay, I don't think I would order it again. It was a little bland in my opining and not enough cheese to corn ratio. I also ordered a mojito which normally comes with 1 flavor but the server was nice enough to combine all four flavors for me and it came out really good. The alcohol ratio was surprisingly well, I couldn't taste it but I felt it! I will definitely come back!

Chill, slightly elevated vibes with good service. I really really enjoyed the Galbi the first time I went here. It was so tender and flavorful. The second time, I'd say the same as well but tried a couple more things. Would recommend the gochujang rigatoni and Korean oc kalbi. Tbh, the calamari looks cool but I think it's skippable, wasn't a fan of the other pastas, and the Bossam was okay, nothing special compared to other Bossam I've had. Nice date spot

D Place never disappoints. The food was great, and the beef plate with the bone was top tier, but the kimchi was the real standout. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I've had. Friendly service too. Jane was so helpful, Definitely coming back!

Food was so delicious. Came on a Sunday evening and wasn't packed. Love that they have kids meal pasta options with fries and a juice box. This was our second time dining here and came to satisfy our steak needs as well as options for our kids! My 4yo is a very picky eater and even ate the spaghetti! My husband and I shared the Galbi (American) dish. The portion was huge! Meat was cooked perfectly and had the sweet marinade. Also loved the sweet bread they provided. My boys devoured that. The dish also came with coleslaw and their version of elote. Prices were decent and service was great. The kids loved the robot service! Celine was helpful and professional too! We will be coming back, thanks for a great experience d'Place!

We have been several times and the food is always on point. We had OC galbi and rose pasta. So great. We finished it all. Lol. Tonight, our server was Ariah and she was great. Would come back again.

Who knew Italian and Korean cuisines could fall so madly in love? This hip, unpretentious spot proves that savory Italian and semi-sweet, umami-rich Korean are a match made in culinary heaven. The vibe is perfectly romantic--ideal for staring deeply into your date's eyes while the attentive (but never hovering) staff ensures your happy hour drinks keep flowing. Honestly, the rich, old-country mushroom carbonara is such a fantastic flavor bomb that if someone took a bite at the next table, you'd immediately point to the waiter and say, "I'll have what she's having." The true climax of this delicious love affair, however, is the spicy risotto and the Tomahawk-sized OC Galbi. This slightly charred, mind-blowing cut of beef is a total celebration dish that you definitely couldn't pull off in your own kitchen or backyard. Between the fantastic happy hour apps and the undeniable Michelin Bib Gourmand potential, this Dplace isn't just a casual culinary fling--t's a happily ever after waiting to happen.

And I Got My Sound Chicken just walked into the conversation and immediately sat at the head of the table. But before we even get to the food -- the space. Walking in feels like stepping into a record label headquarters that moonlights as a restaurant. Music memorabilia and album covers plastered across the walls, industrial design that actually works, and a house music soundtrack that hits harder than most clubs I've been to. It's genuinely one of the most distinctive dining environments in LA right now. The kind of place where you look around and think -- someone with real taste put this together. One thing worth mentioning -- it runs warm in there. Like, noticeably warm. I was sweating somewhere between the cold noodles and the first round of chicken. Whether that's by design or just the nature of the space I genuinely cannot confirm. What I can confirm is that it got more manageable over time and I was too busy eating to care for long. Speaking of the cold noodles -- outstanding. A decent kick, beautifully balanced, and the perfect opener before the main event arrives. And then the chicken hits the table. Crispy, juicy, seasoned with the kind of confidence that only comes from people who have truly figured something out. Every bite delivered. No inconsistency, no disappointment -- just genuinely elite Korean fried chicken from start to finish. Better than Pelicana? Honestly? Yes. And I never thought I'd say that.

The chicken in the sandos were crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Oh, and be sure to ask for extra Tim's sauce - definitely worth raving over. What made it even better was hearing that they braise the chicken for hours before it even hits the oil. That kind of attention to detail really shows in every bite.
