We came on a Monday for dinner and were seated right away. The interior is clean and modern--you can tell it's a newer spot. They have an order screen at each table, but a server also checks in, which makes ordering easy and convenient. The menu is simple in the best way, with a nice variety across categories: rice plates, pho, vermicelli, garlic noodles, garlic rice, and a handful of specialty drinks. It's not overwhelming, but there's something for everyone. We ordered the grilled pork bánh mì and the chicken breast vermicelli bowl to share, along with a Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was super strong--just the way it should be. Both dishes had surprisingly tender and juicy meat, and the baguette for the bánh mì was excellent: chewy on the inside with a crisp exterior. The vermicelli bowl also had a great balance of noodles, meat, and veggies, so every bite had a little of everything. They also offer jasmine tea at the water station free of charge, which was a really nice touch. Overall, everything was delicious, and I would definitely come again.

A newer pho place with pretty much highest ratings in the area? And at a price that seems to have resisted the inflation better than others? Had to give it a try. Restaurant and tables are clean and service was good. Menu had a lot of different food, but I came for pho, so got the combination pho. Wife got a brisket pho. Kid didn't want pho so he got a grilled pork sando:) Pho came out and looked great, plenty of cilantro and all. Tasted the broth before adding some spice. Was different than the authentic pho I usually go for. Broth was pretty salty, with a bit of sweetness to it? But didn't seem to have the depth of flavor for me. Whatever, add the chili oil, some hoisin and sri racha and dug in. Ate it up, noodles were good and I liked the beef in there especially the brisket thin slices, but it left me overly salty feeling without the pho's deep flavors. Kid ate his sando just fine, and he offered me a piece of the grilled pork to sample. Hmmm, not the smokey grilled pork that typically gets served, think it was maybe bit too sweet? Pork texture also felt like maybe something that got nuked. Maybe the other food options are better? The prices are great and still good to have a bowl of hot noodles, but to me the broth is lacking in depth/quality, while just being salty. I guess I'll just have to face inflation if want to get a proper bowl of pho.

Ok quick update I went back but actually dined in which was even better because I got the vinaigrette that goes in the noodles and let me just say this made this already delicious dish even better idk how that is even possible but wow. I also tried a spicy chili oil that they have for the pho I'm assuming but I put it on the noodles since it was at the table and I need a jar of that chili oil to have at home because it will literally blow your socks off! Aside from all of that greatness the service was also great. Service was fast and they gave complementary tea which was delicious as well and our waitress was very attentive and kind. They had a bad bunny playlist the whole time which 10/10 was a vibe and I will be back to dine in but this time I will try the pho which I'm anxiously awaiting to try.

Really generous portions especially for the price! I ordered the brisket pho and it came with a great amount of both meat and noodles. The broth was honestly refreshing especially with the lime and not too heavy or salty. We made the mistake of ordering on the kiosk which is only for takeout orders, but they still offered to let us dine in. The pho came out fast but the service wasn't the best as there was only one server for everyone; they only came by to drop off the food and we had to get our own napkins. Overall, I would still come again if I'm in the area!

Saw this place on an Instagram buy one selected bowl of Pho get the second one for $1 plus free refill of pho noodles. The second bowl for a $1 doesn't have to be pho. They offered shrimp garlic noodles as well. Also, the second bowl can be to go and doesn't need to consume there. The size of the noodle bowl is decent. Mine had a lot of noodles and not enough broth. The house special is $19.99 with the second bowl for $1. The beef quality is minimal. The house special has the following cuts:Beef brisket, round eye, tendon, tribe and beef ball. They also offered Wagyu beef for $29.99 plus noodle refill and second bowl for $1 as well. Free can of soda, water and ice tea with the special. It's good experience and it was a bit too far for us SGV folks to travel just for this special. The staffs are fantastic and pleasant to have a meal there.

An Pho is tucked away in a small plaza. The restaurant is small and has around 9 tables. Most of the tables are 4 seaters and a couple 2 seaters. They offer free jasmine tea as well as Shasta sodas. They have pho, sandwich, garlic noodles, rice, and vermicelli noodles. They have a couple of appetizers as well as drinks! I ordered the rare steak pho. I wasn't the biggest fan of the broth, but I liked the noodle texture and the meat melt in my mouth. The popcorn chicken was nice and crispy, but a little bland. The green sauce they give wasn't my favorite. Their shrimp spring roll came thick and packed. The servers are friendly and the price is great.

Great food and fast service! Clean and well decorated, perfect for a quick lunch. The pho is flavorful, and the ube coffee really packs on the ube! The cilantro rice pairs perfectly with meat dishes...I always order a side to take home for later. Up front parking is scarce however there is additional parking behind the establishment. Free cold jasmin tea is offered and that is a kind treat. Price is slightly below normal pho restaurants in the area. Ask for a pho card...that will get you a free bowl after ten purchases!

Their prices can't be beat! Such good quality and I love that they give free green tea and canned drinks. There's additional parking in the back, it can get pretty busy at times. I love that the bahn mi and noodles will already come in a to go container so that it's easy to pack it up.

A little confusing when you walk in since there is a kiosk but the kiosk is take out only so if you want to dine in you need to order at the register. We got the brisket pho, the brisket was pretty good. You get a good amount very filling. I usually finish all my noodles when I get pho but this time I wasn't able to. Overall a good little spot if you want something quick.

One of the women in our group found this place through Insta and told us she really enjoyed it. How can you turn down a bowl of pho? Most of the folks at our table ordered a bowl, though a few went ahead and ordered other tasty items such as the Crispy Pork Belly and Bulgogi Ribeye sandwiches to which I heard many positive reactions. In addition, they had unique drinks such as the Ube Coffee and Cucumber Lemonade. The restaurant was playing an eclectic mix of Vietnamese pop, and at around 8pm there was a steady number of patrons dining in and ordering to-go. According to our server, the House Special is the same as the Combination, where they both show up on the menu as separate items and are listed separately on the receipt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it is a mystery. Nevertheless, the bowl had hot, flavorful broth with a generous portion of rare steak, brisket, meatballs and the usual basil, lemon wedge, and bean sprouts. With all of us getting two additional bowls of noodles, we were very much stuffed at the end. To top it off, the prices were competitively low, and the service was quick and felt hospitable. Would definitely return.

We came to try this new spot in La Mirada for Pho and unlimited noodles we were greeted by a very nice coworker that explained the menu to us told us about all the popular dishes. I love it when they know the menu that tells me they like what they do restaurant is not big but plenty of tables everything clean we ordered the brisket with salt and the shrimp and garlic noodles. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything was great portion wise and price wise. I felt was a very great value. I can't say that about every establishment that I go to, but this one exceeded my expectations for the food and the value if you like this type of food you need to support this restaurant in La Mirada. I will definitely be back soon.

The pho is very good. I enjoyed the broth and free refills on noodles. Free drinks! I didn't like the fried chicken, I thought it had too much batter. Parking lot is small.

I love me some shaken beef and viet food in general, but considering the hype and reputation this place has, it did not live up to it. Now the food itself is not bad by any means, but definitely not amazing. It could use some work but it's okay if you're looking to get your viet food fix in. My girlfriend and I ordered the shaken beef (filet mignon) garlic noodles and she got the crispy pork belly vermicelli bowl. The garlic noodle filet mignon was decent, but it could be improved. Garlic noodles were solid, but the filet mignon had no flavor. It was a bit overcooked as well but still edible. The crispy pork vermicelli dish was decent also, but the pork itself was crispy as advertised. Although the bowl may seem like there's a lot of food, it's mainly packed with veggies instead if vermicelli and pork. This dish and filet garlic noodles we don't think are worth the price tag. Ube coffee wasn't good at all either. Their ube cream didn't taste like ube at all and the flavor was barely there. The viet coffee itself was okay, but I've definitely had better. Staff was friendly and place itself inside was clean, but the food experience was very mediocre. Unsure if we'll be back to try again.

!!Solid portions !! Friendly service…read more!! Great late-night hours SHOUTOUT to the ladies working hard till the 2:00 AM I didn't mind leaving them a generous tip. The restaurant is open late -- 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM Monday through Sunday, which makes it a great place if you're coming out of karaoke or the bars and want a comforting bowl of soup. As a Vietnamese girl trying this spot out, not bad at all. I appreciate them doing a solid job with several Vietnamese dishes on the menu. They even serve bánh xèo (Vietnamese crepes), which I always appreciate seeing because it's not something every pho spot offers. I ordered the #15 and added meatballs, and the portion size was generous. The broth is on the lighter side, but still comforting and satisfying when you're craving pho in Buena Park. xxxTraditionally, pho is served with Thai basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños. At Pho 21, we were given bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños, BUT it was missing the Thai basil, which is a key garnish that really brings the bowl together, but thats not a deal breaker. Still, I love how Vietnamese and Korean cultures both appreciate bean sprouts, so that part felt familiar and comforting. Our server Korean taller lady was kind and attentive, and the young short Vietnamese woman working there was very friendly I see her coming in the front sometimes warmly greeting customers! Thui? Which made the experience even better that everyone is kind. Overall, this is a solid late night pho spot if you're craving Vietnamese comfort food A great place to stop by if you're leaving karaoke and need a "sober-me-up" bowl of pho especially bc it opens till 2:00AM!
