I found An Noodle and Pho on Instagram, and people said it was a wonderful place to eat pho and get a second one for $1. I brought my family here today. The space is relatively small, with only a few tables. The ice water, ice tea, and Shasta beverages are complimentary. To obtain the BOGO bargain ($1), choose numbers 7, 8, or 9 in the Pho section only. we assumed that we would order the Pho, Garlic Noodle, and Shaken Fillet Mignon for one dollar. When the bill arrived, the Garlic Noodles and Shaken Fillet Mignon cost $18. That dish was very  good, however the portion was very small. The pho tasted okay, and because there is an unlimited refill on the noodles only, we received three extra noodles for our Pho. Will I return back just for the food? Probably not. We came on a Monday for dinner and were seated right away. The interior is clean and modern--you can tell it's a newer spot. They have an order screen at each table, but a server also checks in, which makes ordering easy and convenient. The menu is simple in the best way, with a nice variety across categories: rice plates, pho, vermicelli, garlic noodles, garlic rice, and a handful of specialty drinks. It's not overwhelming, but there's something for everyone. We ordered the grilled pork bánh mì and the chicken breast vermicelli bowl to share, along with a Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was super strong--just the way it should be. Both dishes had surprisingly tender and juicy meat, and the baguette for the bánh mì was excellent: chewy on the inside with a crisp exterior. The vermicelli bowl also had a great balance of noodles, meat, and veggies, so every bite had a little of everything. A newer pho place with pretty much highest ratings in the area? And at a price that seems to have resisted the inflation better than others? Had to give it a try. Restaurant and tables are clean and service was good. Menu had a lot of different food, but I came for pho, so got the combination pho. Wife got a brisket pho. Was different than the authentic pho I usually go for. Broth was pretty salty, with a bit of sweetness to it? But didn't seem to have the depth of flavor for me. Whatever, add the chili oil, some hoisin and sri racha and dug in. Ate it up, noodles were good and I liked the beef in there especially the brisket thin slices, but it left me overly salty feeling without the pho's deep flavors. Kid ate his sando just fine, and he offered me a piece of the grilled pork to sample. Hmmm, not the smokey grilled pork that typically gets served, think it was maybe bit too sweet? Pork texture also felt like maybe something that got nuked. Maybe the other food options are better? The prices are great and still good to have a bowl of hot noodles, but to me the broth is lacking in depth/quality, while just being salty. Really generous portions especially for the price! I ordered the brisket pho and it came with a great amount of both meat and noodles. The broth was honestly refreshing especially with the lime and not too heavy or salty. We made the mistake of ordering on the kiosk which is only for takeout orders, but they still offered to let us dine in. The pho came out fast but the service wasn't the best as there was only one server for everyone; they only came by to drop off the food and we had to get our own napkins. Ok quick update I went back but actually dined in which was even better because I got the vinaigrette that goes in the noodles and let me just say this made this already delicious dish even better idk how that is even possible but wow. Mine had a lot of noodles and not enough broth. The house special is $19.99 with the second bowl for $1. The beef quality is minimal. The house special has the following cuts:Beef brisket, round eye, tendon, tribe and beef ball. They also offered Wagyu beef for $29.99 plus noodle refill and second bowl for $1 as well. Most of the folks at our table ordered a bowl, though a few went ahead and ordered other tasty items such as the Crispy Pork Belly and Bulgogi Ribeye sandwiches to which I heard many positive reactions. In addition, they had unique drinks such as the Ube Coffee and Cucumber Lemonade. The restaurant was playing an eclectic mix of Vietnamese pop, and at around 8pm there was a steady number of patrons dining in and ordering to-go. According to our server, the House Special is the same as the Combination, where they both show up on the menu as separate items and are listed separately on the receipt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it is a mystery. Nevertheless, the bowl had hot, flavorful broth with a generous portion of rare steak, brisket, meatballs and the usual basil, lemon wedge, and bean sprouts. I love me some shaken beef and viet food in general, but considering the hype and reputation this place has, it did not live up to it. Now the food itself is not bad by any means, but definitely not amazing. It could use some work but it's okay if you're looking to get your viet food fix in. My girlfriend and I ordered the shaken beef (filet mignon) garlic noodles and she got the crispy pork belly vermicelli bowl. The garlic noodle filet mignon was decent, but it could be improved. Garlic noodles were solid, but the filet mignon had no flavor. It was a bit overcooked as well but still edible. The crispy pork vermicelli dish was decent also, but the pork itself was crispy as advertised. Although the bowl may seem like there's a lot of food, it's mainly packed with veggies instead if vermicelli and pork. This dish and filet garlic noodles we don't think are worth the price tag. Ube coffee wasn't good at all either. Their ube cream didn't taste like ube at all and the flavor was barely there. The viet coffee itself was okay, but I've definitely had better. I meant to leave a review after the first time we came to An Noodles, but life has a way of being complicated at times. This review encompasses both visits so far. My wife was scrolling through some videos and came across one highlighting this pho restaurant in La Mirada. It was only a hop and skip away, so we figured, why not? Let's check it out someday! Not Tuesdays though, closed on Tuesdays. Found out the hard way. On a Friday evening, we decided to stop by about 7ish. It wasn't too busy at all. Located smack dab in the middle of a small plaza, there's plenty of parking. Every time we've passed by, it looks empty...as it did that day. The thing is, there is constant foot traffic. A lot of people were taking their orders to go! I've usually seen it the other way around, people eat in, they don't take the stuff to go. Must be that good. There's a menu outside and I believe also plastered on the door, and then on the self serve ordering kiosk, and also on the t.v. screens on the wall. Then they have paper ones too. Leave a review for a bonus!!! This may or may not be a promotional offering, but they offer free iced jasmine tea, one can of soda - I think only one, and pho noodle refills. I mean....I obviously didn't hear when I was told this before we went, so this was an Oooooooh Snap!!! moment. The inside is spacious enough, with plenty of tables. You won't be bumping elbows, but you won't be yelling all the way across the block either. They have restrooms in the rear, and plenty of seating while waiting for your to-go orders. The menu throws you off a bit with the headers for each section. I've never seen dish styles or types referred to as "formats." Reminds me of a certain movie scene.... "It's Strange." "Maybe, but who am I to judge?" The Combination Pho and the House Special Pho are the same thing, and is well worth your money. If it still leaves you hungry, noodle refills are free. The broth in the pho was pretty tasty! We didn't feel the need to add any hoisin or sriracha.....that's when you know it's good! We knew we were going to come back. We also ordered the spring rolls and at the recommendation of the employees, the Crispy Pork Belly Banh Mi. Their spring rolls are open ended, definitely not the norm, but this did not detract from the experience or flavor itself. The dipping sauce was that hoisin-type thick sauce, not nuoc mam. The Crispy Pork Belly though....could have been a little better. While the taste was good, it felt a little cold and chewy. Checkout was fast and we were on the go! The entire time we were there, groups of people came and left and there was a good wait by the time we left at 8. We tried to come back a week later on a Tuesday. Luckily no one was around to see the door pull. A month after that first visit, and we come back....and yes they're open, woo hoo!!! Today, we ordered the same noodles and spring rolls....and yes...just as good!!!! Consistent!!! We did decide to try the popcorn chicken.....good taste...but the portion size we got doesn't scream "I'm worth $8!!!!!" It wouldn't hurt to throw another breast/thigh piece in. We came to try this new spot in La Mirada for Pho and unlimited noodles we were greeted by a very nice coworker that explained the menu to us told us about all the popular dishes. I love it when they know the menu that tells me they like what they do restaurant is not big but plenty of tables everything clean we ordered the brisket with salt and the shrimp and garlic noodles. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything was great portion wise and price wise. I felt was a very great value. I can't say that about every establishment that I go to, but this one exceeded my expectations for the food and the value if you like this type of food you need to support this restaurant in La Mirada. Food is really good (I've only tried the vermicelli and egg rolls) and they give a generous amount of meat. 4.5 stars for my first visit here. High review is mainly because they have the best price point for what you get (quality and quantity) I've seen in any Vietnamese spots in a while. Just the amount of goodness all around. The meat was generous as well. The bulgogi banh me was good and different. Meat was very thin and easy to eat. Some people could want more meat but it was just the right amount and the cost was very fair. The popcorn chicken was ok. Crispiness was well done. Flavor was a little too plain for me. If they could add spice levels (or spice T at all), I think that would be better. Overall I'll be back to try their other dishes. Parking was rough on Saturday. I have been here several times since I live nearby. Like many have already said, for the price point, the food quality and taste cannot be beat. I've tried the pho, garlic noodle with chicken, egg rolls, and bahn mi and everything has been very solid. Service is perfectly fine for a small mom and pop shop. Whenever I'm craving pho, and I don't feel like spending $15+, I always come here since the bowls are a few dollars cheaper. I think they give a little bit less beef, but it's perfect amt for me, and if you want more, it's $5 for an extra serving. (3/5) **Garlic Noodles and Shrimp: They should name this buttery noodles because the garlic flavor was non-existent. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. The house sauce was a great addition but was extremely salty. Without the house sauce, the dish itself was 90% butter. (2/5) I was looking forward to eating their pho but since I had a new crown just fitted less than half an hour back, I resorted to solid foods and not soup. Tried this spot on a whim and O-M-G!! The freaking flavor in the pho is beyond delicious. I could drink this broth all day long. Amazing portions too. We also got the pork sandwich and dayum - the bread is soft inside and has a great crust. Pork so, so flavorful. My hubby got the rice bowl. Don't sleep on the sauce - it kicks up the dish to a 20+. We got the combo pho, chicken pho, chicken garlic noodles, pork belly banh mi, and chicken wings. The pho was really flavorful. Great broth that rivals some spots in Little Saigon. Also, they give you free noodle refills which is amazing. Good quality beef, tender and delicious. The chicken breast pho uses the same broth but is lighter. It would be cool if they made a separate broth with chicken but it is a good broth so that was okay. Now here comes the okay spot. The pork belly banh mi was good but not as exceptional as you'd think pork belly could be. Tender but not quite as flavorful as I hoped. The garlic noodles also lacked some flavor. It's a good flavor but I like a little more punch to the garlic noodles. Finally, the chicken wings - a big disappointment. It was crispy and the chicken was tender but lacked A LOT of flavor. Needed more salt and spice. The sauce was good but I hoped the chicken wings would stand on their own. Ordered combination pho & shrimp vermicelli which came with an egg roll. Hubby said the pho & egg roll was good. Shrimp was grilled with shell on & flavorful. Not a fancy place but good food at good price. Service can improve as the server was not friendly; didn't smile at all; never came by to check on us; & we had to go up to pay. Water served in flimsy plastic cups & vermicelli served in tin foil to go container. We didn't mind as the food was good & inexpensive. Reading the Yelp reviews beforehand d prepared us. We didn't try any of their drinks as they all seem to have lots of caffeine. We will go back when in the area. read more

Stop reading and just come check out this place!! You won't be disappointed!! I have visited this place many times and I never had any bad experiences. This is definitely a hole in the wall place where you would miss when you drive by many times. This place is small with limited parking space but I haven't had any issue finding a spot to park. the girl working ther is friendly. They do have a Kisok machine on the left side once you walk in so you can place your oder either to go or dine in. You really can't go wrong with any of their items on their menu. My favorites are their crispy pork belly, shrimp spring roll, garlic butter wings and their sea salt ice coffee. Their presentation looks exactly like the pictures in their menu!! Another reason I love this place is when I was paying with my credit card after I placed my to go order, they didn't ask me to tip like other places!! Kudos to the owner!!! The food was very good, I got the pho house special and ube coffee. The price is a lot better than the other pho places around. They're very detailed about their service, they have a lot of good items on the menu. They even tell you the broth they used is like 20 hours with the bones to get every nutrients rich in the soup. The ambiance is cool and calm. The place is a nice medium shop with seats up to around 25 people. They have a very friendly staff and a lot of people working around to keep up with the demand.
