I've spent a significant amount of money on repairs, and the leak continues to be a problem. Jack was sent by Brandon, and I could sense his expertise from the way he asked questions and thoroughly examined the potential entry points for water. After hearing about the previous company's unsuccessful attempts to repair the leak, Jack flew a drone over my roof to check for any open seams on the copper roof dome. He then meticulously examined the roof with a toothpick and asked me to wait for the next rainstorm. He instructed me to send him videos of where the water was coming from. Jack also asked me to check the areas where the drywall had been opened up underneath the copper roof during the previous repairs to see if they had gotten wet. By process of elimination, he determined that the roof leak had been repaired, but the water now coming down from the window frame was coming from the gutter nearby. Immediately, he provided me with the contact information of the gentleman he works with, and I'm hopeful that the issue will be resolved soon. It all sounded great. We needed an entire roof of a Four-plex ripped and replaced. Communication was prompt and project moved along well. Before we sent final payment, we went over some remaining issues and things were fixed. Then things changed drastically. A major storm came and caused leaks. It took weeks for Scott to respond to the emergency request to have the issue patched up. A brand-new roof shouldn't be leaking. Another storm came by and again, it took days for him to reply back and take care of the issue once and for all. Any interior damage caused by these leaks were not covered under warranty, according to him, though that clause is unenforceable in the State of California for this situation. However, I had let it slide and decided to fix it myself later. Half a year later when one of the tenants moved out, I saw indentations across the ceiling as if sharp objects were pushed down from above. The tenant had never informed me, but she said that they appeared during the roof replacement. I also saw that the water heater exhaust pipe was loose and no longer attached to the roof frame. Same story for the HVAC exhaust pipe. It was clear that when the roof was replaced, the workers did not take great care to ensure the exhaust pipes were securely fastened back. I texted Scott. I called the number on the company's website. I sent a message through the website. I emailed. It's been a week with no response. [UPDATE: He finally responded after I submitted this review on Yelp and cited that interior damage is not covered under warranty. I informed him that this was untrue and am asking him to take responsibility for the damage caused. I rather not file a complaint with the Contractors State License Board, but will if he keeps hiding behind that unenforceable warranty clause. If necessary, I will have another roofer provide a second opinion, fix the issues, and have the State go after him for reimbursement.]

So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work. Three, the original (undiscounted) estimate was $43,000 for copper ( 130 linear feet plus 90 downspout) or $200 a linear ft. $7,800 for aluminum. $200 a ft for copper is 5 times what we paid another company. We interviewed a LOT of companies before choosing Roof Repair Specialist. The sales consultation was very informative because the building codes for roofing materials have changed a lot in 20 years. Our roof's steep pitch required extra safety precautions and more materials. All of this was clearly communicated. The work started on schedule and the tear-off was noisy, but not as loud as we expected! At the end of each day, our property was cleaned up so we could move our cars back to the driveway. We were in a text chain with the site manager and other key players throughout the whole project. The city inspections were a breeze and the new roof looks great. read more

Couldn't get a lot of guys to call back right away or at all, but Manny called within 10 minutes and came same day to check job. We agreed on a day and he showed as promised. He came out with his crew, and they were very professional and efficient from the start. They spent about an hour carefully inspecting the roof and sent me pictures of everything they found. They also came inside the house, took measurements, and were able to pinpoint the likely source of the leak. Their attention to detail and experience really showed. Hector was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. I had a million questions, and he patiently answered every single one and made sure I understood what was happening. Wow! I was impressed with No Leaks Roofing from beginning to end…read more I had some baseboards that had cracking paint from some water intrusion from previous rains. I called No Leaks Roofing & Hector promptly came out to home to assess the roof leak issue that I reported to him. He walked me through lots of photos & provided an estimate along with some options. When Hector & his crew came to do the repairs, they were efficient & thorough. I really appreciated that Hector texted me photos throughout the roof repair process to document the progress of what his crew was doing to the roof repairs. They cleaned up thoroughly after they were completed. The next step is just to wait for the rains & hope that there's no more roof leaks. However, I'm pretty confident that they sealed up the problem! Just in case, he provides 1 callback for his work in case there's still a leak but I'm hoping that I won't need to use the callback.
