Recently had another leak and an ongoing problem with rain coming in through bathroom soffit into the tub. Manny the owner scheduled an appointment for the next day. I felt his estimate was quite fair. He began work the following week. He used a torch down procedure on the flat roof and after investigating found the soffit leak to be the result of a poorly replaced facia board which was done by a handyman years ago. He augmented the area behind the facia with new boards, wrapped in paper then replaced, sealed and repainted the facia board. I'm happy to report that my semi-DIY home improvement project is finished now thanks to Manny. I called him yesterday on a Friday afternoon and he was able to come first thing the following morning. I needed an 8" roof vent installed on a tile roof but was missing parts. Home Depot didn't have what I needed so he called up a specialty supply shop and found the parts I needed. He then left to get those parts while his associate started the work. They completed the work without a hitch before lunch time. They were careful not to damage the surrounding tiles and even took a leaf blower to clear off the debris on the roof. I'm very pleased with the results. They painted the vent to blend in with the terra cotta style. I'm glad Manny did the job on such short notice. His 28 years of experience saved me from an impossible DIY project. He was honest about the work I needed done and charged me a reasonable fee for doing it the right way. I'm confident there will be no leaks but I'll edit if anything happens after the next rain storm. We are so happy with the work done by Roofing Repair OC. We had rotted and termite damaged roof beams and fascia boards. They cut off the damaged beam ends, sanded the wood smooth, primed the raw wood to prevent repeat damage, and applied newly primed and painted fascia board. Some decorative beams needed to be removed and the remaining holes were closed and stuccoed. Everything was done in a professional and efficient manner. Had a great experience with roofing repair OC. Manny was the first company in 2.5 weeks to actually go look at a minor leak at a rental property that I help my mother in law manage. He offered to come the same day I called him which was great. Ended up repairing the leak the same day. Only reason for 4 stars is truthfully I wasn't told exactly what he was repairing, how long it would take and the parts needed and felt that it was a little expensive (probably because of the lack of explanation). I needed a roofer to replace a couple of fascia boards after discovering one warped and one with some termite damage.
