These are the issues I experienced: 1. No contract was given to me before the work started. 2. Driveway pavers were broken and not replaced. 3. Clean up was not completed when the job was finished. 4. The cost for the job increased 2 times. 5. When he came to get the final check I told him the original leak had not been repaired. We had a bad wind storm that blew a tile off and dislodged several others over the New Year's weekend. I located S&L in Yelp and based on Leo's reviews I called him. I contacted S&L Roofing to replace the original half pipe roof tiles that had broken over time. Their review on Yelp is excellent. Leo, the owner, actually answered my call. So refreshing to hear a real voice and not a machine :) Leo was very professional and communicated a very kind and reassuring reply to my timeline and concerns and his demeanor assuring and cordial.The tiles on roof are original dating back to the 1940's, so a challenge to match, but Leo prevailed and two days after my initial call he sent Guillermo over to remove broken tiles and replace with those that closely mimicked my originals! Guillermo was very deliberate and focused on my project, so very pleasant and polite, too. Leo also checked in to assess the progress. I asked for a favor which was to paint my two chimneys which were covered randomly with black soot. Rather than risk my tiles being broken again by a painter who might not know how to properly walk on tile, Leo graciously agreed to paint the chimneys. We bought the paint and Guillermo did a fine job masking the black soot and always being mindful of not spilling paint. He even taped off areas just to be extra cautious. I could not be more pleased with S&L Roofing and highly recommend them.
